Chapter 2138: Su Mo In A Predicament
Is he dead?
Li Shi stood outside the Second Mountain, feeling uncertain. He believed that the blow was powerful enough to kill Su Mo.
However, Su Mo was unpredictable, so he was not sure if Su Mo was dead.
As he was too near to the Second Mountain, his spiritual senses had been restricted. He could not sense too far and he had no idea of the actual situation.
After pondering for a while, Li Shi flew toward the Second Mountain as he wanted to see for himself if Su Mo was dead.
Swoosh! Swoosh! Swoosh!
At that moment, three figures rose up from the Second Mountain and flew in his direction.
“Oh no! It’s the men from the Nether Tribe!”
When Li Shi saw the three figures, he stopped immediately and turned around to escape.
Swoosh! Swoosh! Swoosh!
After a while, the three figures appeared. All of them were men, and they looked weird.
They were of a big build and although they were not as big as the men from Sky Tyrant Clan, they were much taller than the ordinary human race.
The three of them put on black armor, and they were dark. Strange purple runes were on their face, forehead, and arms. The runes were like tiny spiritual snakes and they looked frightening.
“I thought I saw someone from Sky Tyrant Clan!”
“That’s right. He has left. Shall we go after him?”
“Forget it. This is the critical period. Let’s not create trouble!”
The three of them spoke softly, and they turned around to leave. They did not check around. Sky Tyrant Clan might be dealing with someone else and it had nothing to do with them.
Su Mo moved on, going deep under the ground without stopping.
After he had been thrown into the mountain by Li Shi’s attack, he had started to run away. He knew that Li Shi would not let him off.

After moving in the underground for one hour, he realized that Li Shi had not come after him.
He did not come after me!
When Su Mo realized it, he heaved a sigh of relief and stopped running.
Poof!
Su Mo spewed out another mouthful of blood. His blood was golden in color, and it stained the ground.
Su Mo was in a sorry state. His face was white as a sheet and his flesh tore apart. Golden blood kept flowing out of his body.
Although there were many types of physiques protecting Su Mo from the mighty strength, including the Supreme Combat Body, they were unable to fend off the might.
Su Mo was alarmed that his Spiritual Soul and Sage Pill had been seriously injured.
The harm that had been done to his Spiritual Soul was so immense that Su Mo felt dizzy and his spiritual senses were blurred.
His Sage Pill was nearly crushed and there were three cracks on it. The damage done to his strength was terrible.
This place is not safe. I must find a safe place to recuperate!
Su Mo sighed. After cleaning himself up, he changed to a yellow robe. He then moved on to get out of the underground.
The ground was hard like metal and it possessed a strange energy.
Su Mo’s speed was slow, not only because the ground was hard, but because his strength had been restricted.
The strange energy would not suppress the strength of a martial artist, but it would restrict him to reduce the effect of the damage that he might cause.
That meant a martial artist could still display his strength but the damage would be reduced by at least a 100-fold.
One might smash a small star in one blow in the outside world, but he might not be able to crush a mountain there.
Moreover, Su Mo had been seriously injured and his speed was slow.

After some time, Su Mo dashed out of the ground and came to the surface.
He saw a wild forest before him and there was silence.
When Su Mo stood on the ground, he did not feel as though he was on a mountain but a vast piece of grassland.
When he tried to look far, he realized that his spiritual senses and vision had been restricted.
His spiritual senses could only cover a small area.
Su Mo then moved on in the large forest.
After a while, Su Mo came to some huge rocks, and he sat in the space between the rocks.
It seems that Li Shi did not come after me! Su Mo said in his heart. Although he had no idea why Li Shi did not pursue him, he was glad about it.
Su Mo then put away all the disturbing thoughts and started to treat his injuries.
His internal organs were almost crushed and most of his flesh had been torn apart.
After refining a few Elixirs to treat his injuries, Su Mo’s flesh and organs began to recover.
However, those were minor injuries. The major injuries were on his Sage Pill and Spiritual Soul.
Su Mo swallowed a large number of Spiritual Crystals to replenish his Chaotic Energy. However, he was unable to repair the cracks in his Sage Pill.
His Sage Pill became weak and every time he tried to activate it, it became unstable and could burst at any time.
If the Sage Pill burst, Su Mo would lose the cultivation that he had painstakingly built up over the years.
The damage done to his Spiritual Soul had caused him to feel dizzy and he needed a long period of time to recover from it.
I’m done for this time!
Su Mo was depressed. He had never expected himself to be injured by Sky Tyrant Clan instead of the Sorcerer Tribe or True Demon Tribe.
Su Mo then pushed the thought away and started to meditate. On one hand, he condensed his Sage Pill to stabilize it and on the other hand, he tried to keep his Spiritual Soul alert.
Time passed quickly. Two months passed by.
Su Mo opened his eyes and looked worried.
After cultivating for two months, his Sage Pill was not getting any better and it had only stabilized a little. The cracks were still around and they had not closed up.
His Spiritual Soul had recovered a little but it was still far from complete recovery.
Su Mo reckoned that he would need a few years before his Spiritual Soul was back to its peak.
His Spiritual Soul had not been too badly damaged, or else he would need a few hundred years to recover.
What should I do?
Su Mo pondered. The Sage Pill posed a greater problem than the Spiritual Soul.
Although the damage that has been done to the Spiritual Soul has affected his strength, it affected only around 10 percent. However, the Sage Pill had affected 50 percent of his strength.
His Chaotic Sage Pill is different from the rest of the people. How could he get it back to top form?
He had to look for some special herbs to repair the Chaotic Sage Pill.
“Let’s search around! Don’t miss out any corners!”
Suddenly, a cold voice was heard coming out from deep in the forest. Footsteps sounds were then heard.
Someone is here! When Su Mo heard it, his gaze froze. It was apparent that the sounds of footsteps were moving toward his direction.
However, he was not worried. It was the voice of a lady and not Li Shi.
