Chapter 2124: The Fragments in the Sky
Instructor Mu Li kept her reticence to Su Mo’s question. However she nodded out of politeness.
She had too much she had wanted to say, however she was contemplating how to initiate the conversation. Moreover, she was aware that this place was non-conducive for a private conversation.
Su Mo offered a gentle smile and did not delve into a conversation with Instructor Mu Li. Her eyes were no longer stony and cold, and the warmth of her gaze made him a little uncomfortable.
Soon, he turned his head around to face Estate Master Du and Grand Master Huoyuan. He was quite certain that his politeness might induce the duo to make a favourable decision.
At this point in time, he saw Grand Master Huoyuan’s indicative nod to Estate Master Du, that showed that he had no objection to Su Mo’s proposal.
Perhaps the Shenwu Academy had every right to reject Su Mo’s offer. It was believed that Su Mo would not make things difficult for them.
It was certain that joining the Firmament Sect would be a viable and beneficial option.
Grand Master Huoyuan understood Estate Master Du well. The latter was not one who would hanker after power. His guess would be that Estate Master Du shared his views.
Estate Master Du was clear and polite to Su Mo. He declared: “Su Mo, Shenwu Academy would be delighted to join the Firmament Sect!”
Estate Master Du’s resounding voice assured every disciple and the crowd was beaming with smiles and pride.
Up to this day, everyone knew that the Firmament Sect was like the Sun and it had attracted and recruited many talents. Many clans in Star GuZhou were eager to pay tribute to the Firmament Sect.
However, the Firmament Sect had yet to consolidate with anyone. What they had done was to let the submissive groups pledge their allegiance.
Nonetheless, Su Mo’s personal and genuine invite to the Shenwu Academy to join the Firmament Sect was delivered in a gracious and non-conflicting manner.
When Su Mo heard Estate Master Du’s positive reply, he was relieved. With the addition of Shenwu Academy to the Firmament Sect, it would be a perfect partnership.

“Estate Master, kindly arrange for your disciples to go to the Firmament Sect, Emperor Shi shall settle your people to the best of his ability!” Su Mo said with a laugh.
“Sure! I shall arrange for that!” Estate Master Du nodded. Without further delay, he issued an order to his disciples and instructors to commence their relocation.
Seeing that satisfactory closure, Su Mo bade farewell to the duo and flew away.
Mu Li watched Su Mo’s shadow forlornly. She bit her lips and her eyes betrayed her emotions.
“Mu Li, don’t think too much!” Grand Master Huoyuan reprimanded with a sigh. He was aware that Mu Li had fallen in love with Su Mo.
However, he knew that Su Mo would be an unsuitable life partner for Mu Li.
The two had a huge rift between them. In time to come, the gap between the pair would increase.
On the one hand, once Mu Li became part of the Firmament Sect, there could be an opportunity to develop the relationship with Su Mo. If that were the case, it would be an ideal situation.
On the other hand, Grand Master Huoyuan did not view this scenario favourably. He could foresee that with Su Mo’s prodigy, he would not stay at the Infinite Region for too long a time.
“Yes I know!” Mu Li noddly gently. She had known in her heart that she and Su Mo did not live in the same world. That was the reason for her to hold back her feelings.
….
Su Mo returned to the Firmament Sect after he departed from the Shenwu Academy.
He found the Array Master to learn the skills of entering and exiting the formation arrays used in the defence strategy.
He left Star GuZhou and flew into the vast horizon.
Swoosh!
Su Mo flew for a distance at an electrifying speed. He was moving in the direction of the entrance to the Firmament Sect’s world.
His intended journey was to fulfil a longtime wish. He would endeavour to locate all the broken fragments of the Firmament Sect’s world in order to rebuild it.

Nothing eventful happened. Within several days, Su Mo had arrived at his destination.
It had been a thoroughly uninhabited star. Su Mo landed slowly on a mountain’s summit.
“It should be here!” Su Mo watched his surroundings, wearing a solemn expression on his face. Based on his memory, the previous Firmament Sect’s World’s exit should be on this mountain peak.
Since the destruction of the Firmament Sect’s world, all the roads leading to that world no longer existed.
Su Mo activated his thoughts, and there was an overflow of Spiritual consciousness which covered a radius of several thousands of miles.
He closed his eyes to focus on his investigation. He allowed his Spiritual consciousness to explore outwards.
His mighty Spiritual consciousness penetrated through the vastness.
It was fortunate that his prowess had enhanced his mind power. Nowadays, his Spiritual consciousness was able to locate everything hidden within the vastness of the Empty Space.
“Nothing!”
Within moments, Su Mo frowned because he had made no discovery.
Almost instantly, he continued to venture deeper within the Empty Space to explore.
“Hmm?”
Su Mo’s eyes glittered upon his discovery. He had found a giant embedded in the deeper side of the Empty Space.
However due to the obscurity of the hiding place, he was unable to fathom what the giant was about.
Su Mo offered his hand to feel, he pulled out a Dark Force’s gigantic hand.
The hand was huge in size and it scratched and broke the Empty Space into fragments.
Thunder!
The skies shook vigorously and started to crumble. The gigantic hand dipped into the deepness of the Empty Space.
In a matter of seconds, the gigantic hand halted its action. It might have caught hold of an object.
“Come out immediately!”
Su Mo shouted and pulled forcefully.
A thunderous roar was heard. The explosive roar reverberated. The huge hand retreated. A mammoth object was slowly dragged out.
This object was a big piece of land, with a radius of several hundred thousand miles. It emerged after Su Mo pulled it out from its depth in the Empty Space.
“It’s the fragment of the previous Firmament Sect’s world, however, it has lost its life!”
Su Mo retracted the gigantic hand, he watched the motionless, lifeless land and sighed gently.
Su Mo was certain that this piece of land, with its remnants of aura, was indeed the fragment of the Firmament Sect’s world.
It was a dead piece of land, with no sign of life. There were an abundance of withered dead ancient trees and crumbled mountains.
Su Mo understood that previously on this piece of land, there used to be many lifeforms. Since the devastation of the Firmament Sect’s world and the harsh treatment from the Empty Space, this land no longer supported any lifeforms.
Su Mo shook his head and laid down the piece of land in the Empty Space. He continued his search.
He rotated his body around the abandoned star and searched unrelentlessly.
Half an hour passed, he found another two fragments, whose areas were smaller than the first fragment.
“This is… the Qing Dragon Sacred Sect?” He was amazed at the fragments in his hand.
Although the fragment in front of him did not show signs of life, according to the land shape, he was able to recognise that it was previously the Qing Dragon Sacred Sect, that was the Sect situated on the Left Mound Court.
Upon seeing this land, Su Mo felt a sense of loneliness.
Even if he was able to locate all the fragments of the Firmament Sect’s world and rebuild the world, he wondered how many lifeforms would have survived.
The main purpose for Su Mo to restore the Firmament Sect’s world, was to find the Ninth Honorable Puppet Man.
He had a hunch that the secret manual of the Grand Chaos would be formidable.
Therefore, his intention was to locate the Ninth Honorable Puppet Man, who could help him decipher the secret contained within the code of the Grand Chaos.
This code would be instrumental to his future martial arts practice.
