Chapter 2020: Absolute Confidence

Su Mo’s speed was quick. In a flash, he was already at the center of the field.

When the disciples from Wind-thunder Sect, Dark Shadow Tribe, and Eight-eyes Tribe saw Su Mo, they were shocked.

The next round was the fight between the Martial Sages at the Great Completion Realm and the participants were all King Sages.

Su Mo was only a Middle Realm Martial Sage and his appearance took everyone by surprise.

Wan Shengxiang’s face darkened when he saw Su Mo’s action. Is Su Mo trying to mess things up?

“Elder Jiang, what’s wrong with you? The fight is for King Sages. What is a Beginning Realm Martial Sage doing there?”

Elder Tong Yu shouted at Elder Jiang as he looked at him.

Elder Jiang did not respond to Elder Tong Yu. He looked at Su Mo and shouted, “Su Mo, what are you doing? Come back now! Don’t mess things up!”

Elder Jiang was furious as he felt that Su Mo was being preposterous. You are just a Middle Realm Martial Sage. What are you doing in the field!

“Get back!”

Wan Shengxiang shouted as he walked to the field and his voice shook the space.

The next round was his fight. If Su Mo dared to mess it up, he would have no qualms about suppressing him.

“Elder Jiang, let me take part in the next fight!” Su Mo said. He looked at Elder Jiang and ignored Wan Shengxiang.

When Su Mo said that, the area went into a dead silence.

The disciples from Wind-thunder Sect, Dark Shadow Tribe, and Eight-eyes Tribe were stunned.

Everyone looked at Su Mo as though they were looking at a moron.

Is this guy kidding?

This is a fight between King Sages. You are just a Middle Realm Martial Sage and you want to take part in it? You must be dreaming!

“Hahaha!”

“When did such a weird person join Wind-thunder Sect?”

“Has Wind-thunder Sect become so pathetic that they have to let a Middle Realm Martial Sage take part in the fight?”

Suddenly, the disciples from Dark Shadow Tribe and Eight-eyes Tribe laughed loudly and they mocked Wind-thunder Sect.

They knew that it was not Elder Jiang’s idea. Wind-thunder Sect would not send a Middle Realm Martial Sage out no matter how lousy they had become. Moreover, Wan Shengxiang was still around!

The two camps simply wanted to take the opportunity to mock Wind-thunder Sect.

“Hoho! This is interesting!”

An Jian sized Su Mo up and he curled his lips into a derisive smile.

A youth with a big build and short hair was standing among the members from the Eight-eyes Tribe. He had eight special eyes on his forehead that were different from the rest of the tribe members.

When his eight eyes blinked, they emitted Black Ghost Radiance that seemed able to devour a person’s mind.

He was Tong Yun, the most powerful person in Eight-eyes Tribe, who was at the Martial Sage Great Completion Realm.

Tong Yun looked at Su Mo and smiled. He is a Middle Realm Martial Sage and he is not fit to fight him!

The disciples from Wind-thunder Sect turned ghastly pale and they felt embarrassed by Su Mo’s behavior.

Lin Man started to sigh. Su Mo thinks too highly of himself!

Xu Ming’s face twitched and he was speechless. Su Mo has been trying to mess things up. He can forget about staying in Wind-thunder Sect.

Su Mo looked grimly at Elder Jiang and said, “Elder Jiang, please let me take part in the fight. I have absolute confidence in winning!”

When Su Mo made that statement, everyone was stunned.

Even Wan Shengxiang stopped walking.

“Do you have absolute confidence?” Elder Jiang asked as he looked at Su Mo in astonishment. He was not surprised by the strength that Su Mo seemed to possess but he was shocked by his arrogance.

Is he kidding?

You are just a Middle Realm Martial Sage. How can you defeat Tong Yun! This is ridiculous!

That is no longer considered arrogant, but boastful!

Who is Tong Yun?

He is the most powerful person in Eight-eyes Tribe and he is known as the Eight Demon Eye. He is ranked number 32 on the King Sage Board, which is lower than Wan Shengxiang by two ranks.

He has great combat strength and although he is not as powerful as an Empty God, he is almost there.

Even Wan Shengxiang has absolutely no confidence in defeating Tong Yun, let alone Su Mo, a Middle Realm Martial Sage. However, Su Mo said that he has absolute confidence in defeating Tong Yun!

“Yes!”

Su Mo nodded grimly. He had absolute confidence that even if Gongcheng Tai Hao was there, he could defeat him, let alone the Eight-eyes Tribe and the Dark Shadow Tribe.

Su Mo had heard that Gongcheng Tai Hao was a King Sage who had just advanced to the Martial Sage Great Completion Realm.

When the disciples heard what Su Mo had said, they started to laugh loudly. Su Mo had absolute confidence in defeating Tong Yun. It that sounded ridiculous!

No one believed what Su Mo had said as it was impossible. No matter how powerful Su Mo might be, he would not be able to defeat Tong Yun.

“Hoho, it seems that your man has shown no regard for me!”

Tong Yun smiled wryly and stepped forward.

He was enraged as he had been humiliated by a Middle Realm Martial Sage.

“You are a nobody. Get back!”

Wan Shengxiang shouted. He was fuming with anger as Su Mo had not shown any regard for him. He traversed a far distance in one leap and came before Su Mo.

“To me, you are a nobody!” Su Mo said as he looked straight into Wan Shengxiang’s eyes.

“You are tired of living!” Wan Shengxiang was completely enraged. He lifted his hand and got ready to strike.

“Stop!”

At that moment, Elder Jiang shouted and stepped forth to stop Wan Shengxiang.

“Su Mo, stop creating trouble or I will punish you according to our sect rules!” Elder Jiang said coldly as he looked at Su Mo. He was fuming with anger as well.

“Elder Jiang, I have absolute confidence in winning. You can ask him how confident he is in winning the fight!” Su Mo said.

“You…!” Elder Jiang turned pale when he heard what Su Mo had said. He knew that Wan Shengxiang did not have absolute confidence in defeating Tong Yun.

However, Su Mo, who will believe that you can defeat Tong Yun?

“Enough of that. You are not fit to take me on!” Tong Yun stepped forward and said. He then looked at Wan Shengxiang and said, “Wan Shengxiang, let’s fight it out!”

Half a year ago, he had had a fierce fight with Wan Shengxiang and they had exchanged up to 1,000 blows. He had lost to Wan Shengxiang at the last blow, but this time around, the same thing would not happen again.

“Sure, why not!” Wan Shengxiang was filled with fighting spirit. He did not have the confidence to defeat An Jian but he was confident of defeating Tong Yun.

His immediate task was to defeat Tong Yun. As for Su Mo, he would deal with him after the fight had ended.

Strong aura rose from Wan Shengxiang and Tong Yun like beacons and they shot up to the sky.

Su Mo frowned. He would have to show his power so that the people would believe him.

As he was about to do so, a large hand pressed on his shoulder.

“Su Mo, come with me!”

Elder Jiang pulled Su Mo along with him and both of them flew to the Wind-thunder Sect camp.
