Chapter 2015: Fight For The Right
The stars around Sky Tyrant Star were protecting Sky Tyrant Clan. They were subordinate to Sky Tyrant Clan.
In every star, there would be some great forces and races.
Half-yearly, those forces and races would gather a group of Martial Sage geniuses to head to Sky Tyrant Clan to comprehend the Ultimacies.
That was Su Mo’s opportunity to get into Sky Tyrant Clan to look for Gongcheng Tai Hao.
He could directly challenge Gongcheng Tai Hao in order to lure him out.
However, he gave up on the idea as a precaution.
“Wind-thunder Sect!”
Su Mo muttered. He had heard that Wind-thunder Sect was one of the Overlords in the star and it belonged to the human race. It was a subsidiary force of Sky Tyrant Clan.
The force was powerful. It had a Rank 1 Empty God and about 100 Martial Sages.
Shortly, Su Mo flew far out.
One hour later, a mountain range that was filled with strong Spiritual Qi appeared in front of Su Mo.
There was a large number of towering mountains joined together.
The gale whizzed continually above the mountain range and once in a while, thunder would rumble.
That was the mountain gate of Wind-thunder Sect and they cultivated the Wind-thunder Path.
Su Mo stood far away from the mountain range and watched as he waited for an opportunity.
Wind-thunder Sect had many disciples. The mountain gate was bustling with people as the disciples shuttled in and out of the mountain.
Su Mo waited for two days before his eyes lit up. He saw a Martial Sage flying out from Wind-thunder Sect.
The Martial Sage was young, but more than 20 years of age. He was a little plump, and he had put on a brocade robe. He seemed to be from a rich family.
The youth was a Middle Realm Martial Sage, similar to Su Mo. After he had flown out of the sect, he headed straight to the west.
When Su Mo saw him, he followed behind him.
Swoosh!
Su Mo was quick. In an instant, he was already near the youth.
When the youth noticed Su Mo following him, he came to a halt. He then turned his head around and asked coldly, “Who are you? Why are you following me?”
“Brother, I would like to ask you for help!” Su Mo replied politely, cupping his fist as he stood in front of the youth.
“Help?” When the youth heard what Su Mo had said, he frowned. He sized Su Mo up and after seeing that Su Mo was a Martial Sage as well, he asked, “What do you want me to help you with?”
“I would like to join Wind-thunder Sect. Can you help me with that?” Su Mo asked.
“Join Wind-thunder Sect?”
The youth raised his brows. He then nodded and said, “Given your cultivation level, you can be a Foreign Elder. I can recommend you to our sect!”

The youth was not surprised that Su Mo wanted to join Wind-thunder Sect. After all, Wind-thunder Sect was a big force and those martial artists who had practiced on their own would be attracted to join them.
Many people had joined Wind-thunder Sect but there were not many Martial Sages.
“No. I do not want to be a Foreign Elder!” Su Mo shook his head. A Foreign Elder was only a title and it meant nothing at all. He might be given duties which Su Mo wanted to avoid.
“Oh? Are you thinking of becoming a Pro-disciple?” The youth asked, looking shocked.
It was not easy to become a Pro-disciple.
Generally speaking, the Pro-disciples grew up in the sect. If anyone joined the sect halfway and wanted to become a Pro-disciple, he would have to go through a long period of observation and testing and prove his loyalty to the sect.
“Yes. Can I?” Su Mo asked.
“If you want to be a Pro-disciple, it will be impossible for you to do so within a short period of time. However, if you become a disciple, you may become a Pro-disciple in the future.” The youth replied.
“I see. Brother, can you help me to join the sect?” Su Mo cupped his fist at the youth and asked.
“Sure. Come with me!” The youth did not turn Su Mo down. He waved his hand and flew back to Wind-thunder Sect.
It was a small matter to him to recommend Su Mo to the sect. Moreover, he would be rewarded for recommending a Martial Sage.
He was not concerned with Su Mo’s background or motive as the sect would do a check on Su Mo.
Soon, Su Mo entered Wind-thunder Sect together with the youth.
“May I know your name?” As they were walking up the footpath, the youth asked Su Mo.
“Su Mo!” Su Mo replied. He did not hide his name from the youth as he was in the Dark Region.
“Brother Su, my name is Xu Ming. After you join our sect, we will be fellow sect members!” the youth said.
“Hoho, Brother Xu, please look out for me in the future!” Su Mo smiled. The youth was friendly and he was not arrogant at all.
“Don’t say that. Both of us have the same cultivation level. We can learn from each other in the future!” Xu Ming said, shaking his head.
“Alright!” Su Mo nodded.
Very quickly, Su Mo and Xu Ming came to the Sect Hall. After answering some questions and going through the procedure, Su Mo became a disciple of Wind-thunder Sect.
However, he was just an ordinary Inner Sect Disciple and not a Pro-disciple.
After all, Su Mo had just joined Wind-thunder Sect. Although he had a high cultivation level, he could not be a Pro-disciple yet.
He had to stay in Wind-thunder Sect for a period of time. After he had proven his loyalty to the sect, he could become a Pro-disciple or an Inner Sect Elder.

“Brother Su, you can go and take a look at your lodgings! I will not accompany you as I have something to attend to!” Xu Ming told Su Mo as they walked out of the Sect Hall.
As a disciple of Wind-thunder Sect, Su Mo had been given a place to stay.
“May I know if there is anything with which I can be of help to you?” Su Mo asked with a smile.
He had a lot of questions to ask Xu Ming but Xu Ming had to make a move.
“It is nothing important. I just want to sell off a treasure!” Xu Ming replied.
“What treasure is that?” Su Mo asked.
“It is a high-grade inner armor, a Middle Sage Class inner armor!” Xu Ming replied. He liked the inner armor but he had to sell it off as he needed the money.
“Hoho, Brother Xu, I just happen to be in need of an inner armor. Can you sell it to me?” Su Mo asked with a smile. He had no need of the inner armor but he wanted Xu Ming to stay on so that he could find out some information from him.
“Oh! How much are you willing to pay for it?” Xu Ming asked curiously. If Su Mo was willing to buy the inner armor from him, he would be happy to sell it to him.
Most importantly, he wanted to know how much was Su Mo willing to pay for it!
“May I know the selling price Brother Xu is looking at?” Su Mo asked.
Xu Ming pondered for a while. The inner armor was a rare treasure. Although he was selling it to someone he knew, he would not lower the price. He then told Su Mo, “At least 10,000,000 Upper Spiritual Crystals!”
“Alright. I will pay you 20,000,000 Upper Spiritual Crystals. The other 10,000,000 Upper Spiritual Crystals are to thank you for your help!” Su Mo said with a smile.
“20,000,000!” When Xu Ming heard what Su Mo had said, he was shocked. He did not expect Su Mo to be so wealthy that he was willing to give him additional 10,000,000 to show his appreciation for him.
“Brother Su…!”
Xu Ming wanted to say something but Su Mo interrupted him and said, “That has been settled. Brother Xu, how about coming to my place for a chat?”
When Xu Ming saw that Su Mo did not want to hover on the matter, he nodded. Since Su Mo was filthy rich, he had no reason to turn down his offer.
However, Xu Ming was not stupid. He knew that Su Mo must have a motive or needed his help since he had given him a large number of Spiritual Crystals.
Very quickly, the two of them came to Su Mo’s lodging. It was a beautiful garrett, similar to the lodgings of the other Inner Sect Disciples.
“Brother Su, please tell me your motive!”
Xu Ming asked as he looked at Su Mo after they had exchanged the inner armor and Spiritual Crystals and settled down.
He was not the least worried that Su Mo had ulterior motives. After all, they were at Wind-thunder Sect.
“Brother Xu, frankly speaking, I would like to go to Sky Tyrant Clan to comprehend the Ultimacy. That is the reason I join Wind-thunder Sect!”
Su Mo replied. His main reason was to look for Gongcheng Tai Hao but he would not want to miss the opportunity that was provided by Sky Tyrant Clan to comprehend the Ultimacy. That would help him speed up his comprehension about the Devouring Ultimacy and Space Ultimacy.
“No wonder!” Xu Ming nodded when he heard what Su Mo had said. The Sky Tyrant Clan had an area specifically for comprehending the Ultimacy. There were more than 9,000 types of Ultimacies and all the Martial Sages would be interested in them.
Xu Ming was not surprised that Su Mo was there for the Ultimacy.
“Brother Su, it is every Martial Sage’s dream to go to Sky Tyrant Clan to comprehend the Ultimacy. However, we do not have the opportunity to do so!” Xu Ming said with a sigh.
“Why is that so?” Su Mo asked with a frown. Is it not a half-yearly affair to go to Sky Tyrant Clan to comprehend the Ultimacy? Why do they not have the opportunity to do so?
“There are three big forces in this star. Other than Wind-thunder Sect, there are the Dark Shadow Tribe and Eight-eyes Tribe. In order for us to go to the Sky Tyrant Clan to comprehend the Ultimacy, we have to fight for the right to do so. For the past few years, our sect has been losing to the other tribes!” Xu Ming said with a sigh.
“Is Wind-thunder Sect that weak?” Su Mo asked.
“It is not that we are weak, but that the Dark Shadow Tribe and Eight-eyes Tribe are too powerful. The Martial Sages from the Dark Shadow Tribe are especially mighty and we are no match for them!” Xu Ming replied.
“When will they be fighting for the right to go to Sky Tyrant Clan?” Su Mo asked. As long as none of them from the Dark Shadow Tribe and Eight-eyes Tribe were Empty Gods, Su Mo was confident of defeating them.
“The next fight will take place the following month. Brother Su, we have a slim chance of winning so don’t harbor any hopes. Just stay in the sect and work on your cultivation!” Xu Ming said with a sigh.

World Wonderer
Mari was happily whisking up some butterscotch slice when our story suddenly whisks her into another world. You'd think it'd be the beginning of another classic Isekai adventure, but it soon becomes clear that things won't be so easy...Her nerdy-teenage-genius summoner has trapped her in his room, no one speaks English, and Mari's gut is NOT prepared for a whole new world of bacteria. Can Mari overcome the travel diarrhea, learn a whole new language and escape before she develops Stockholm syndrome? Most of all, can she learn to flourish in a world so different, yet so similar to her own? ****** Author note: This story is written in response to all the unrealistic, plot-armour Isekais out there. I believe that adventures are more fun when there are unexpected surprises and challenges to be had. That said, this is my virgin voyage into writing an ongoing fiction, so please take care of me @[email protected] Constructive critisms, suggestions and typos in the comments would be most appreciated! Respectfully, Mhm
