Chapter 1974: Third
Translator: Larbre Studio Editor: Larbre Studio
“I believe that you don’t know much of the King Sage Hall!” the burly young man said. If the stranger in front of him didn’t even know of such a simple matter, he must not know much about the King Sage Hall.
“I do not know much indeed!”
Su Mo nodded his head in confirmation before he asked, “What goes on here?”
“This is a place for battles. To rank highly on the King Sage Board, you must go through many tests.” The burly young man informed.
“What tests? Who will one battle with?” Su Mo asked again. Mo Jue was inside the stone pillar and Su Mo naturally couldn’t challenge him yet, so he took the time to understand the scenario at the King Sage Hall.
“There is only one type of test. That is to defeat your opponent, a mirage of the strongest King Sage in the Infinite Region!” The burly young man added.
“The strongest King Sage? Is that Long Xiaotian?” Su Mo lifted his head to look at the highest ranked name on the pillar, Long Xiaotian.
Evidently, Long Xiaotian was the highest ranked on the King Sage Board.
The second person was Yin Busi.
The third person was Sun Sheng.
“It isn’t Long Xiaotian, but the strongest King Sage ever since the ancient times!” The young man shook his head.
“What?” Su Mo was shocked. The strongest King Sage since the ancient times? Was that possible?
“Who is that person?” Su Mo’s curiosity was piqued and he lifted his head. How strong would the strongest King Sage be?
Was it someone from the Chaotic Tribe? The Ancient God Tribe or the Ancient Demons Tribe?
“This man is called Di Yihun. He possesses the Holy Myriad World Soul, the ranked-third Fighting Soul on the Archean Martial Soul Board. He is a person who existed about 10,000 years ago, not far off from now!” A respectful expression crossed the young man’s eyes. This was not the first time he had been at King Sage Hall.

He had come before five years ago and felt Di Yihun’s strength personally. The exceptional combat strength had far exceeded the strength of any Martial Sage.
“The Holy Myriad World Soul?” Su Mo’s eyes brightened. How strong would the rank three Fighting Soul on the Archean Martial Soul Board be?
However, in Su Mo’s opinion, there should be other rules to the stone pillar test. Otherwise, who would be able to defeat the strongest King Sage?
Right at that point, Su Mo’s eyes widened as he realized that Long Teng’s name increased by one rank. He was now ranked tenth from eleventh.
“Incredible!” Su Mo exclaimed in glee. The Five Claw Golden Dragon Blood Force of Long Teng must have completely evolved by now.
Long Teng should be a King Sage by then.
Upon thinking, Su Mo suddenly felt disheartened. He had used so much effort and spent so many years to reach the Martial Sage Rank.
Yet, Long Teng did not even need to cultivate and he only needed to soak himself in the Evolving Dragon Pond every day to become a King Sage.
How infuriating!
Granted, this was the difference in their faces. The favoured son of heaven was the Dragon Tribe and the Five Claw Golden Dragon was the favourite of all favoured sons.
However, Su Mo also knew that once Long Teng’s Blood Force evolved and he became a King Sage, his speed of growth in the future would decrease by almost 10 times.
Shaking his head, Su Mo did not ponder over the matter further and waited for Mo Jue to appear.
“As expected of the Five Claw Golden Dragon of Long Teng. He might have the capabilities to be in the top three!”
“Even if he is the Five Claw Golden Dragon, the difficulty of ranking in the top three is too hard. After all, he is too young and the time he has cultivated is too little!”
“That’s right! Long Xiaotian is the Purple Sky Blood Dragon whose talents are not far off from the Five Claw Golden Dragon. Furthermore, he only managed to become first on the King Sage Board after a hundred years in the King Sage Rank!”

“Mo Jue also wants to be in the top three. I wonder who will succeed among the two.”
The increase in Long Teng’s rank brought about much bustle among the crowd.
Many people were curious over Long Teng and Mo Jue’s battle outcome that day.
After all, it was rare that top talents would arrive at the King Sage Hall. Yet, there were three top talents in the Hall that day.
Linghua Tianhua was ranked low on the King Sage Board but his achievements were already very shocking.
That was because he was only an End Stage Martial Sage but he was already ranked in the sixties range on the King Sage Board.
“How shocking!” The burly young man sighed deeply. He was taken aback by the three men who were currently inside the stone pillar.
He and his junior sister were there that day because they wanted to attempt the King Sage Board. It would be a great thing even if they were ranked last on the board.
However, they were in no hurry now because they wanted to see the outcome of Mo Jue and Long Teng.
“Oh right, where is the Hall Spirit of King Sage Hall?” Su Mo asked the burly young man again.
That was because Su Mo wanted to learn more about the Reincarnation Heavenly Sovereign from the Hall Spirit.
However, after checking for so long, Su Mo did not know where the Hall Spirit was!
“The Hall Spirit is inside the stone pillar. However, typical men cannot see it!” The burly young man shook his head.
“Why?” Su Mo asked
“Only the top ten ranked on the King Sage Board have the qualifications to see the Hall Spirit.” The young man replied. Who was the Hall Spirit? Only the top ten on the King Sage Board would be acknowledged by the Hall Spirit.
“This..!” Su Mo’s face fell. It seemed that he had no choice but to enter the stone pillar if he wanted to talk to the Hall Spirit.
However, Su Mo was not ready to enter it yet. If he wasn’t able to come out in the short term and if Mo Jue came out and left the King Sage Hall, Su Mo would be in trouble.
“I will kill Mo Jue first before I enter the stone pillar!” Su Mo thought to himself.
Right at that point, Mo Jue’s name on the stone pillar suddenly flashed and he was lifted from fourth-ranked to be third-ranked.
Mo Jue had entered the top three on the King Sage Board, replacing Sun Sheng who ranked third.
Dead silence covered the King Sage Hall as everyone’s eyes bulged while their hearts jumped.
Mo Jue had actually entered the third rank on the board. What terrifying combat strength.
The top ten ranked on the King Sage Board were the peak martial artists in the Martial Sage Realm. The difference between them was not much and every increase in strength was incredibly hard.
By that point, it was almost impossible to increase their ranks without breaking through to the Empty God Realm.
As such, if Mo Jue had entered the top three ranked, his strength must have increased again.
“My god! He really entered the top three!” someone screamed in the hall, shaking everyone back to their senses.
“Incredible. As expected of the top talent of the True Demons Tribe. This strength is exceptional!”
“Terrifying. Mo Jue might have hopes of attaining first in the future.”
“He is actually not coming out yet. Is he planning to try for the second rank?”
Many people started to discuss, each of them fully surprised. Mo Jue becoming third on the King Sage Board and suppressing Sun Sheng, who was originally there, was surprising.
“The third?” Su Mo secretly gripped his fists together, his face turning serious.
How strong would the third ranked Mo Jue on the King Sage Board be?
Su Mo had originally had confidence in succeeding after he had changed his martial skills and increased his combat strength.
However, now, Su Mo was beginning to feel slightly uncertain.
He felt that the hopes of him killing Mo Jue had shrunk.
