Chapter 1971: To King Sage Hall

Not bothering about the turmoil in the outside world, Su Mo spent half a month to reach Myriad World Mountain.

He walked out of the wormhole and headed towards Bai Tiannan’s palace. He wanted to seek Bai Tiannan’s help to find out where Mo Jue was.

After all, there were only two months left to the engagement and he did not have time to investigate Mo Jue’s whereabouts.

Very quickly, Su Mo arrived in front of Bai Tiannan’s palace.

“Come in!”

The large doors to the palace opened and Bai Tiannan’s voice rang in Su Mo’s ears.

Su Mo nodded his head slightly before he walked into the palace and sat down cross-legged beside Bai Tiannan.

“Greetings to Senior Bai!” Su Mo immediately cupped his fists towards Bai Tiannan.

“Su Mo, I have already heard of what you did!” Bai Tiannan, clad in a long white robe, lightly said as his face remained expressionless.

“I wouldn’t bring trouble to Myriad World Mountain right?” Su Mo asked in a deep voice.

“Nope!”

Bai Tiannan shook his head and said, “Your talents are godly. It is Myriad World Mountain’s fortune to have a disciple like you.”

“You praise me too much senior!”

Su Mo shook his head humbly before his voice deepened and he revealed, “Senior, I need to kill a person!”

“Mo Jue?” Bai Tiannan guessed.

“Mm!” Su Mo nodded as his heart jumped in surprise. It seemed that Bai Tiannan knew about him very well! Su Mo was shocked that Bai Tiannan would be able to guess who Su Mo wanted to kill!

“With your strength, it might not be possible to kill Mo Jue!” Bai Tiannan warned. The person ranked fourth on the King Sage Board had the strength of an Empty God.

“I am willing to try even if it is only a slight possibility!” Su Mo said in a low voice. He did not think that he should not try just because the possibility of success was low.

“I hope you will succeed then!” Bai Tainnan said in a low voice. He would not help Su Mo with his personal matters.

Some things needed to be done personally. Killing Mo Jue would have great consequences and Myriad World Mountain would not involve itself in that.

“Senior, I came here today because I need your help to find out where Mo Jue is. Is he at Demon Kingdom Galaxy?” Su Mo asked.

“Mo Jue isn’t at Demon Kingdom Galaxy, he has gone to King Sage Hall!” Bai Tiannan replied. He had received the news just a few days prior.

“King Sage Hall!” Su Mo’s eyes flashed. Mo Jue had actually gone to King Sage Hall.

This surprised Su Mo. King Sage Hall was where the King Sage Board was formed. As a top-ranked martial artist on the King Sage Board, why did Mo Jue need to go to King Sage Hall?

Looking at the confused expression on Su Mo’s face, Bai Tiannan said, “King Sage Hall is a special place. There is an opportunity for the martial artists there to become Empty Gods. It is a common gathering place for Martial Sages!”

Su Mo nodded his head. He knew that point but was not sure what the King Sage Hall actually was.

“Senior, I will take my leave first!” Su Mo cupped his fists towards Bai Tiannan. Since Mo Jue was at King Sage Hall, he would naturally need to head over.

“Go!” Bai Tiannan waved his hand dismissively.

With that, Su Mo stood up and left the palace after bowing to Bai Tiannan. Through the wormhole, he headed back to Levitation Galaxy.

That was because the place where the King Sage Hall was at was between Levitation Galaxy and Grand Legion Galaxy.

After Su Mo left, a misty figure appeared out of Bai Tiannan’s body.

This figure was translucent and illusionary, having no aura around it.

Shoosh!

In a flash, the space jerked and the figure shot out of Bai Tiannan’s palace and headed into a wormhole.

“Are you the person that Lord of Myriad Worlds is waiting for?” Bai Tiannan muttered under his breath. The lord had passed down a message to protect Su Mo.

This made Bai Tiannan surprised as he knew that the Lord had been waiting for an illusionary person for almost ten thousand years.

Since the Lord had passed down such a message, Bai Tiannan had guessed that Su Mo was very likely the person that the Lord was waiting for.

In the Empty Space, Su Mo once again sat down cross-legged, rushing his cultivation as much as he could.

He would need to challenge Mo Jue very soon and hence he needed to increase his strength as much as possible. Taking on the fourth-ranked on the King Sage Board did not allow for much carelessness.

Killing Mo Jue might not even be easier than killing Jia Shen.

Thankfully, the transportation out of Myriad World Mountain required half a month and Su Mo had managed to master all wood, fire and water martial skills to the introductory level.

In other words, Su Mo had achieved the Rank 1 mastery of these three martial skills.

The introductory level was easy and Su Mo only needed six days to complete each one of them.

At that point, inside his Elixir Field and in the middle of the Chaotic Sacred Elixir were three different-colored Dark Forces.

These Dark Forces were the wood Dark Force, water Dark Force and the fire Dark Force.

Every elemental-based Dark Force was a liquid type substance that floated inside his Elixir Field.

Without Divine Elixirs, Dark Force would not be able to enter the Chaotic Sacred Elixir and hence, Su Mo could only contain each of the cultivated Dark Force in his Elixir Field.

These three elemental Dark Forces were very strong. Although each of them was only at the Rank 1 Mastery level, they were almost twice as strong as the Rank 2 Middle Sacred martial skill Dark Force.

While they weren’t that much stronger individually, once the five elemental Dark Forces merged into the Chaotic Energy, the Chaotic Energy would not just be two times stronger than it was previously.

With a flip of his palm, Su Mo took out another Jade Bangle and carefully began to read the ground based martial skill, the Buried Sky Skill.

These five martial skills were the Immortal Primordial Skill, the Buried Sky Skill, the Treasure of the Deep Sea Skill, the Burning Heavens skill and the Nine Heavens Holy Record.

After carefully checking through the Buried Sky Skill, Su Mo retrieved a large number of Spiritual Crystals and began his cultivation.

Time flew by speedily without stopping and after a few days, Su Mo ended his cultivation practice. In these few days, he had managed to master the skill to the introductory level, amassing a thick ball of Dark Force in his Elixir Field.

With that, Su Mo began to check through the Nine Heavens Holy Record.

After a day of checking through it, Su Mo had a clear understanding of the Rank 1 Mastery level of the skill.

He then began to cultivate the skill.

Time passed by and Su Mo had successfully mastered the Nine Heavens Holy Record to the Rank 1 mastery level. He finally ended his cultivation.

“Merge!”

Taking in a deep breath, Su Mo began to merge the five elemental Dark Forces into the Chaotic Energy.

Before he merged the Dark Forces, Su Mo used the same old method of trying the merging out on his fingers.

The trial merging round was successful!

Su Mo had taken it to heart to ensure that the forces of the five elemental Dark Forces were a balance before he merged them.

As such, he had succeeded on his first try of merging them.

After fifteen minutes, the merged Chaotic Energy started to destabilize and Su Mo quickly dispersed it.

“It feels about three times stronger than the previous Chaotic Energy!” Su Mo’s eyes brightened in glee as his heart jumped for the new Chaotic Energy.

At his current cultivation rank, even a 10% increase in his strength was a huge step forward.

Su Mo continued to merge the Dark Force on his finger. After a few hours, he finally managed to ensure that the merged Chaotic Energy was stable.

“I hope that the last step will be successful!”

Su Mo took in a deep breath. He had to merge the new Chaotic Energy with the existing Chaotic Energy in his Sacred Elixir.

This was the most important step and if he failed, he would no longer be able to continue in his martial arts journey.
