Chapter 1936: Bargaining Power

After Grand Elder Jin Yang had explained why a person would get distracted, he told Pei Jing’s avatar how to counter the problem.

“Do you have any other questions?” Jin Yang’s voice came down from the mountain peak after he had explained to him.

“I have no more questions. Thank you, Grand Elder, for helping me with my problem!” Pei Jing’s avatar shook his head. He cupped his fist and took a bow. Since Jin Yang did not ask him to go to the mountain peak, he did not want to ask him any more questions.

Pei Jing’s avatar hesitated for a while and asked, “I wonder if Sister Youyou is at the mountain peak. We have agreed to discuss martial arts together but I have not seen her for some time!”

After Pei Jing’s avatar had posed the question, there was silence at the mountain peak as Grand Elder Jin Yang fell silent.

“Youyou is in seclusion. You may leave now!” Jin Yang’s voice resounded after a while.

When Pei Jing’s avatar heard what Jin Yang had said, he frowned. However, he immediately cupped his fist and said, “Alright. Thank you for your time, Grand Elder. I shall make a move!”

Having said that, Pei Jing’s avatar turned around and left Mount Jin Yang.

What should I do? As Pei Jing’s avatar was flying in the sky, he was thinking about his next move.

He did not believe that Yun Youyou had gone into seclusion.

Yun Youyou did not receive the message that he had sent to her but instead, Jin Yang had found out about it. Something must have happened.

There was a high possibility that she had been kept somewhere.

Jin Yang must have done so as he did not want Yun Youyou to regain her memory.

Very quickly, Pei Jing’s avatar left the Inner Tribe and he was out of Sun Moon City.

He knew that he would not be able to find out any information. Even if Qingxuan had been locked up by Jin Yang, no one would know about it.

Thus, Pei Jing’s avatar decided to leave Sun Moon Tribe to look for other opportunities.

Pei Jing’s avatar flew far away from Sun Moon Tribe.

Suddenly, there was a fluctuation in the space in front of him. A figure in black appeared in front of Pei Jing’s avatar to block his way.

The figure was tall and robust, and his hair fell below his bum. He had his back to Pei Jing’s avatar.

Pei Jing’s avatar stopped immediately. When he took a good look at the figure, he was shocked.

The figure was none other than Grand Elder Jin Yang.

“Greetings, Grand Elder!” Pei Jing’s avatar bowed at Jin Yang, looking calm.

“Su Mo, you are audacious!” Grand Elder Jin Yang said. He had his hands placed behind his back and he did not turn around.

When Pei Jing’s avatar heard what Jin Yang had said, he was shocked. However, he was not afraid. After all, it was just his avatar and it would not do any harm to his actual natural being.

“Grand Elder, where is Su Mo?” Pei Jing’s avatar looked around, looking baffled.

“Stop pretending. Go back to the tribe with me!”

Grand Elder Jin Yang shook his head. Before Pei Jing’s avatar could rebut him further, Jin Yang turned around and stretched forth his hand to catch hold of him.

In an instant, a powerful aura came over Pei Jing’s avatar, causing his body to freeze. He could not activate his Divine Elixirs to resist Jin Yang.

Swoosh!

Pei Jing’s avatar body flew automatically toward Jin Yang and he could not activate any of his force or had the power to resist him.

When Pei Jing’s avatar saw that he was about to get near Jin Yang and be captured by him, he immediately blasted himself up.

As the aura was too powerful and his Divine Elixirs had been suppressed, Pei Jing’s avatar triggered his thought. He split his Spiritual Soul and it exploded, disappearing into thin air.

When Jin Yang caught hold of Pei Jing’s avatar, Pei Jing’s avatar was already dead.

“Eh?” Grand Elder Jin Yang knitted his brows. He did not expect Su Mo to blow himself up.

“He shouldn’t have done that!” Jin Yang muttered and went into deep thoughts. He was not sure if Pei Jing was Su Mo and it was only his conjecture.

He had found Pei Jing’s avatar to be behaving weirdly earlier on. Although his Mental Fluctuation was well-hidden, Jin Yang could tell that something was amiss.

Pei Jing’s avatar’s Mental Fluctuation was apparently much weaker and it was incomplete. He was either trying to hide something from him, or there was a problem with his Spiritual Soul.

Jin Yang blocked Pei Jing’s avatar on the way as he wanted to test him out.

However, he did not expect Pei Jing’s avatar to blow himself up.

The only explanation was that Pei Jing’s avatar was Su Mo, but he could not understand why Su Mo had blown himself up.

“Is that only a small part of his Spiritual Soul?” Jin Yang muttered. It was unlikely for Su Mo to destroy his own Spiritual Soul.

After pondering for a while, Jin Yang left, bringing along Pei Jing’s body with him.

Su Mo sat cross-legged on a floating meteorite in the vast starry sky, far away from Sun Moon Star.

He looked ghastly pale. Jin Yang was indeed powerful. He had discovered Su Mo.

However, Su Mo knew that it was just a matter of time before Jin Yang found out that it was him. The minute he showed himself, his avatar had gone to Mount Jin Yang. That would definitely arouse Jin Yang’s suspicion.
