Chapter 1866: Sacred Green Ring

Su Mo patiently waited in his room. Ever so often, an incredibly rare item would appear and he would take it with him.

Just like that, time flew by and the auction finally neared its end.

“The following item is the last item of the auction and it is also the climax of the auction!” The Fourth Priest stood on the auction stage and scanned the large crowd below him as he announced.

The moment his words fell, a maidservant carried a tray carefully in both hands and walked out of the palace behind the stage.

A large, bright red sash covered the tray, leaving the item on it a mystery.

However, through the folds of the sash, the spectators could clearly tell that the item was incredibly small, the size of a storage ring.

The maidservant quickly walked onto the auction stage. Without holding the crowd in anticipation, the Fourth Priest lifted the red sash on the tray and revealed the mysterious item under it.

It was indeed a storage ring. Its body was entirely light green and it appeared ancient and old with no signs of grandeur.

All eyes focused intensely on the ring, trying to decipher the power of it.

Fei Tianyu and Xuan Yuanlong in their respective rooms also focused their large, bright eyes onto the ring.

Similarly, Su Mo stared at the ring, his heart in high anticipation.

He knew that the ring was definitely not a storage ring and it must be a valued treasure for it to become the climax item of the auction.

At that point, the Fourth Priest cleared his throat and scanned the crowd with his beady eyes before he yelled, “This item is called the Sacred Green Ring and it is a spacial device. Its rank is the Middle Sacred Class but its value is very high, close to an Upper Sacred Class object!”

With that, the Fourth Priest paused for effect and smiled slightly as he observed the bright eyes of the crowd. Then he continued, “There is a small world inside the Sacred Green Ring that is about 8000 kilometers wide!”

Instantly, eyes widened in surprise. An 8000 kilometer wide spacial device was rare.

However, no one was incredibly taken aback as due to spacial devices being rare, it was expected that they were valued highly.

The Fourth Priest continued his explanation, “As such, anyone who possesses the Sacred Green Ring will be able to cultivate, devour elixirs and pills and even start sects inside the ring.”

Eyes shifted in desire. A Middle Sacred Class spacial device was extraordinary indeed, the Spiritual Qi inside the ring was unexpectedly 10 times thicker than the outside world.

Shock filled the crowd as mouths gaped and eyes widened in surprise. Was it still an auction? Who would be able to handle the insane sum to be paid?

Furthermore, the man was really treating Spiritual Crystals like it was nothing. The price called was far higher than what the Sacred Green Ring was worth.

Everyone was at a loss for words, but at the same time, they were filled with enviousness. They had never seen someone so rich before.

A light killing intent simmered in numerous eyes. The wealth of the man secretly formed a sinister intention in them.

Fei Tianyu’s face blackened, as did Xuan Yuanlong’s. They were no longer able to afford the price anymore.

Silence filled the scene as no one dared to call out bids further. The two successive raises by the mysterious man crushed everyone.

The Fourth Priest sighed helplessly upon seeing the lack of reaction among the crowd. There couldn’t be much competition of bids if the man from room 68 called out his bid.

Thankfully, a 60,000,000 Upper Spiritual Crystals price tag to the Sacred Green Ring was a good bargain for the Sorcerer Tribe.

“The guest from room 68 has called a bid of 60,000,000 Upper Spiritual Crystals. Is anyone willing to call an even higher bid?” The Fourth Priest gazed at the crowd and yelled.

“Gentleman from room 68, would you be willing to leave the Sacred Green Ring for me? I will thank you sincerely!” Fei Tianyu pleaded.

Su Mo instantly recognized the voice as Fei Tianyu’s. However, he only lightly spoke two words, “No way.”

A deep frown etched across Fei Tianyu’s face as he gave up on trying to bid for the object.

In actual fact, if Su Mo had been willing to leave the item for him, he could squeeze out 60,000,000 Upper Spiritual Crystals. However, the man rejected his request, diminishing all hope that he had.

“61,000,000!” After a long moment of silence, Fei Tianyu called out again. He did not have any hope of obtaining the Sacred Green Ring but only wanted to squeeze out the blood from Su Mo.

He knew that he would not be able to obtain the Sacred Green Ring, but he pushed the price higher to make himself feel better knowing that the man would have to pay a higher price.

“Increase, then! Continue raising the price!” Fei Tianyu coldly sneered in his heart.

“70,000,000!” Su Mo called out without hesitation and followed Fei Tianyu’s intentions. The price now caused everyone to suck in a cold breath.

With that, Fei Tianyu did not raise the price further. If he raised and Su Mo did not follow him, he was afraid that he would obtain the Sacred Green Ring without being able to pay for it.

“Congratulations to the guest from room 68 for obtaining the Sacred Green Ring!”

A few moments later, the Fourth Priest directly hammered the auction slab without asking anyone else if they were willing to raise the bid.

Silence and envy filled the ground. The entire auction had virtually been run by the man from room 68.

Everyone stared at room 68, wanting to catch a glimpse of the man’s face.

Su Mo slowly stood up from inside his room. The auction had ended and it was time for him to act.
