Chapter 1864: Unsettled
Su Mo maintained the grin on his face in the room as he continued to call out bid after bid. Items and weapons continuously streamed into his room.
The entire auction became a stage for him and the faces of the other participants started to turn blacker and blacker.
In the midst of the auction that continued and the continuous bidding by Su Mo, some would occasionally compete with him. However, Su Mo would raise the bid insurmountably high so that no one dared to follow him.
Everyone in the auction wore a solemn face as the anger in their hearts boiled more intensely as though they could explode any moment.
“Who cares!” Su Mo observed the anger in the crowd and shrugged it off. He had bid for close to 20 items and temporarily stopped bidding.
He disregarded ordinary items but valuable items were definitely in his pocket.
Once Su Mo did not call a bid, numerous martial artists in the grounds heaved a huge sigh of relief.
If the mysterious man continued to be so outrageous, they would really explode.
Su Mo frequently called out a bid during the auction. He would call a bid almost once for every two items displayed and very quickly, he obtained more than 30 items in the auction.
The Grand Priest remained expressionless in the back palace as he listened to the report by his underling.
“Reporting to Grand Priest, a black-robed young man lies in room 68. He has a stern face and looks foreign. He is currently a Rank 8 Martial Honorable!” An expert of the Sorcerer Tribe said.
“How many items has he bid for?” The Grand Priest inquired.
“A total of 32 items, but he has not paid for any of them.” The Sorcerer Tribeman replied.
“What is the total price?” The Grand Priest probed.
“The total price is close to 50,000,000 Upper Spiritual Crystals!” The man replied. This price was already very high and even typical Martial Sages would not be able to afford it.
As such, the Sorcerer Tribesmen were taking a huge risk right now. If the man in room 68 wanted to run off without paying them, they would be in trouble.
A dark look crossed the Grand Priest’s eyes as he seemed uncertain of himself. He could not let the situation continue and had to check if the man did indeed have the Spiritual Crystals.
At that point, another item was up for auction of the stage. It was a Jade Bangle.
“The item for auction now is an Upper Honorable Rank Finger Skill called the ‘Great Finger Technique. This finger skill is very strong and is considered a peak martial skill in the Upper Honorable rank…!”

As the Fourth Priest held the Jade Bangle in his hand, he lightly introduced. However before he finished speaking, a light voice rang from above again.
“2,000,000 Upper Spiritual Crystals!”
The light voice rang through the entire auction grounds from room 68.
Faces scrunched and contorted in disgust. The man in room 68 was acting really outrageously, hurling Spiritual Crystals like they were rocks.
Without even waiting for the minimum bid to be announced, the man called out a bid. This rendered everyone speechless.
By now, almost two thirds of all the items in the auction had been taken by the man.
The Fourth Priest couldn’t help his face from twisting together as a dark look crossed his eyes. Things had progressed to such a stage, why hadn’t the Grand Priest taken action yet?
“Hehe!”
Right at that moment, a warm and light laugh rose from the palace as the Grand Priest walked out of the back palace.
“Grand Priest Wu Lun!”
Instantly, hearts relaxed upon seeing the Grand Priest. Had he been incited to come out by the person in room 68?
“The guest in room 68 has bid for more than 30 items in the auction and he is an esteemed guest. I am the Grand Priest of the Heavenly Underworld Star and I will personally deliver the item to you!”
Looking straight at room 68, the Grand Priest called out. With that, he strode towards the auction stage and grabbed ahold of the Jade Bangle before he walked towards room 68.
The Fourth Priest did not hurry to continue the auction. He knew that the Grand Priest was going to check the identity of the man in room 68.
Back in the room, a sharp, murderous glare crossed Su Mo’s eyes as he saw the Grand Priest. Yet, this sinister flash was slowly concealed.
He could not rush to attack and he would wait until he had obtained some more treasures. After all, the Grand Priest would not leave the auction.
Su Mo was sure that the Grand Priest had gone to him to check whether he was a scammer. Yet, Su Mo remained fearless.
Through the Illusory Technique, Su Mo had changed his appearance, figure, voice and aura. Even the King could not recognize him, not to mention the Grand Priest.
Granted, even if the Grand Priest recognized him, he did not have to worry as he could just attack the Grand Priest directly.
The only thing that Su Mo did not hide was his cultivation rank, maintaining it at the Rank 8 Martial Honorable Realm. If he hid his cultivation rank, he would appear suspicious to the Grand Priest.

Knock! Knock! Knock!
A loud knocking sound came from the door and with a light acknowledgement by Su Mo, the doors to the room opened. The Grand Priest carried the Jade Bangle containing the Great Finger Technique and walked into the room.
“The Grand Priest personally delivered the item to me, I am very honored!” Su Mo stood up and smiled as he said.
“Hehe, it is fine. Young junior has bid for so many items and is a VIP among all esteemed guests, it is natural that I do this!”
With that, the Grand Priest maintained his smile as he carefully surveyed the young man in front of him. He questioned, “Young man, what is your name? Which superpower do you come from?”
“I am from Sun Moon Tribe of Mingxu Galaxy. I am not anyone famous and even if I say my name, you may not recognize me!” Su Mo shook his head.
“The Sun Moon Tribe!” Suspicions filled the Grand Priest as soon as he heard Su Mo’s words. Could the man really be a Sun Moon Tribesman?
However, the Grand Priest did not find anything amiss about Su Mo after checking him. He could only tell that the young man in front of him was a Rank 8 Martial Honorable.
This allowed the Grand Priest to relax slightly. Anyone who was a Rank 8 Martial Honorable could not play tricks with him. Even if the young man had ill intentions, the Grand Priest would be able to crush him without much effort.
At that point, numerous people from the auction were paying close attention to the situation and they naturally heard Su Mo’s reply.
Sun Moon Tribe!
So the young man was a member of the 86th-ranked tribe on the Ten Thousand Archean Tribe Board. That explained why he was so daring as to throw away Spiritual Crystals like it was dirt.
In another room, Fei Tianyu’s eyes lit up in surprise upon hearing Su Mo’s words.
Mingxu Galaxy was not far from Ancientspirit Galaxy and he had heard of the Sun Moon Tribe’s name before but had never seen the tribe before.
Once the auction ended and he obtained the treasures that he aimed for, he would leave Ancientspirit Galaxy and tour the universe. At that point, he would be heading to numerous galaxies and would be able to see the powers of the talents of various galaxies.
In the room beside Fei Tianyu, Xuan Yuanlong remained calm. He was also there for a treasure item and would leave Ancientspirit Galaxy once he had obtained the treasured item.
Although he entered the Nine Heavens Holy Ground, it was too weak and it greatly limited his progress as a martial artist.
As such, he was prepared to head out through the universe with Mingxu Galaxy being his first stop. After all, Mingxu Galaxy was relatively close to Ancientspirit Galaxy.
He would head to Mingxu Galaxy, Black Death Galaxy and then Levitation Galaxy.
Back in room 68, the Grand Priest nodded his head before he cupped his fists and said, “A Sun Moon Tribe member! Apologies for my disrespect!”
“It is alright!” Su Mo also cupped his fists in respect.
With that, the Grand Priest’s voice deepened and he questioned with a somewhat awkward tone, “Young junior has bid for more than 30 items, isn’t it about time that you pay the Spiritual Crystals?”
Although Su Mo’s cultivation rank was not high and the Grand Priest was not worried about him, the Grand Priest still had to check whether he was a scammer since the sum of Spiritual Crystals was large.
Su Mo remained calm upon hearing the Grand Priest’s words as he laughed coldly in his heart. he knew that the Grand Priest was unsettled.
“Ha ha ha!”
Su Mo suddenly burst out into laughter before his face darkened and said, “I said that I will pay the Spiritual Crystals once the auction is over. Is the Grand Priest unsettled?”
“I am not unsettled, but I would like to collect the sum first to prevent an error later!” The Grand Priest smiled.
“The great Sorcerer Tribe, a top superpower of the Ancientspirit Galaxy is actually so petty. I can’t help but find this funny.
With a mocking expression, Su Mo continued, “The Grand Priest must be afraid that I am not able to pay up, right?”
The Grand Priest was at a loss for words upon hearing Su Mo’s words. His attitude said it all and he was indeed unsettled.
Granted, as the almighty Grand Priest of the Sorcerer Tribe, he couldn’t directly voice his worries as the organizer of the auction.
Su Mo laughed coldly in his heart before he shook his head and sighed, “Forget it. Since Grand Priest is unsettled, I will let you see my wealth!”

Humans Are Evil (completed)
A world of magic, where empires rise and fall, and where civilization is never safe from the perpetual menace of the monsters that roam the land. In this volatile landscape Fera is reborn and must adapt to this new and ever-changing world. She will grasp at whatever opportunities she finds to escape her unfortunate birth as an orphan. Either excelling, or wallowing in self-pity, Fera will question if this world of magic was as fantastical as she initially thought. Note: The story is technically a litRPG, but much less like a game and more akin to real life, for example obtaining a class does not give free skills to the individual, it’s the other way around! Skills are what unlock your class, so an individual who learns magic skills will unlock mage classes, classes then provide passive buffs and stats, in my opinion this makes everything feel more earned so that the power levels in the world are more natural, rather than every single random person being a powerhouse.
