Chapter 1861: Holy Sorcerer Yard

This man was Su Mo and he had changed into a new outfit, as well as changed his appearance drastically.

“I wonder if the Grand Priest is in the Heavenly Underworld Star.” Su Mo muttered to himself as his body flashed and he sped towards the Heavenly Underworld city.

His speed was incredibly fast and in the mere span of half an hour he closed down on Heavenly Underworld City and the Nine Guards Cities.

However, he did not directly enter it. While he was not afraid of the Grand Priest, the Heavenly Underworld Star Sorcerer Tribe had a Side Branch Leader who, according to the memories that he had searched through, was a King Sage. This meant that the leader was a Martial Sage in the Grand Completion Realm, Wu Fengtian’s father.

Su Mo stopped in a small city not far from Heavenly Underworld City and strained his ears to eavesdrop on news.

He received news of the Grand Priest’s location not long later. Afterall, as the Grand Priest of the Heavenly Underworld Star, he had a high status. A slight inquiry was sufficient to receive news of his whereabouts.

“Green Jade Star!” Standing in the small corner of the town, Su Mo muttered to himself. Grand Priest Wu Lun wasn’t in Heavenly Underworld Star, but was in Green Jade Star.

Green Jade Star was a star not far away from the Heavenly Underworld Star. Although it was not under the control of the Sorcerer Tribe, the Sorcerer Tribe had a large hold of power and authority there. Many merchant houses, Spiritual Crystal Mines and Dark Iron Mines belonged to the Sorcerer Tribe.

These merchant houses and mines were under the control of the Heavenly Underworld Star and were considered to be one of the many incomes of the star.

At that point, Grand Priest Wu Lun was making preparations for an auction in Green Jade Star.

This auction was organized and planned by the Heavenly Underworld Star’s side branch and it was a biennial event held in Green Jade Star. The Grand Priest was the organizer of the auction this time.

“Very good!” Su Mo’s eyes glittered brightly. It was the best scenario for him that the Grand Priest wasn’t in Heavenly Underworld Star.

After all, if the Grand Priest was in the Heavenly Underworld Star, Su Mo would have to think of a way to lure him out of Heavenly Underworld City.

With that, Su Mo left the city and directly entered the starry space to head towards Green Jade Star without using the Teleportation Formation Arrays.

His speed when he used the Natal Spiritual Sword to travel through the starry space was fast. In just 3 days, he arrived at Green Jade Star.

Green Jade Star was a small star that had many superpowers in it. However, the Sorcerer Tribe was definitely the strongest superpower in it.

Su Mo tore through the Nine Heavens atmosphere and lowered himself into the skies above a forest.

He spotted a few cities clustered together in the distance and immediately hurried towards them.

It was a piece of cake for him to get news of the auction as a casual question to any passer-by gave him his answer.

The auction of the Sorcerer Tribe was in a city called Long Maple City and there were still 3 days to the auction.

Su Mo headed to the city and smoothly entered it 2 hours later.

The streets of the city were bustling with activity as streams upon streams of martial artists crossed the area. Su Mo debated quickly with himself whether or not to directly kill the Grand Priest or wait and see how things went.

He finally decided on waiting for the opportunity after a moment of thinking.

If the Heavenly Underworld Star organized a large scale auction there, there would be numerous treasures in the auction. These treasures could possibly be items that the Heavenly Underworld Star had amassed together.

Acting directly to kill the Grand Priest would be a wasted opportunity if he didn’t obtain these treasures.

As such, Su Mo decided to obtain all the treasures in the auction first before killing the Grand Priest.

Su Mo was more than 70% sure that he would kill the Grand Priest. After all, the Grand Priest’s strength wasn’t too strong and he seemed to be only a tad bit stronger than Baili Liqing and Mo Xiao. Even if was stronger than those geniuses, he would only be a bit stronger.

Without the Ancient Demon’s Eye, Su Mo’s confidence of killing the Grand Priest would only be 50-60%. However, with it, his confidence increased greatly.

The auction of the Sorcerer Tribe was held in a yard called ‘Holy Sorcerer’ and it was located in the northern area of Long Maple City.

Su Mo stayed nearby Lon Maple City and found a guesthouse to stay at temporarily. Through the window of his room, Su Mo could see the yard in plain sight.

With that, he patiently waited for the auction to begin as he rested in the guesthouse.

3 days passed by quickly and the Holy Sorcerer Yard started to become more lively with the arrival of many martial artists. After handing in a small entrance fee, the martial artists entered the yard.

“There is actually an array!” Looking at the Holy Sorcerer Yard in the distance, Su Mo’s eyes knitted together slightly. There was actually a large array raised above the Holy Sorcerer Yard that covered the entire yard. Everything inside the yard was secured by the array and under its protection.

Su Mo stared intently at the array. If the array only stopped outsiders from barging into the yard, that was good news for him.

However, if it locked people inside it, or unleashed attacks within the array, Su Mo would be in danger.

After carefully examining it, Su Mo did not find anything eye catching about it. With a mental thought, he released a purple-gold winged insect in front of him.

The winged insect beat its wings and flew into the yard.

Su Mo wanted to use the winged insect to test the array and see what its use was for.

The winged insect flew to another corner of the yard and positioned itself to be a sharp sword before it pierced into the yard.

However, the winged insect could not pierce through the array but was forced backward by the array. A small shockwave rippled through the surface of the array without any sign of an attack.

“It is a simple defensive array!”

Su Mo’s heart jumped with joy upon seeing this. Since the array did not unleash an attack on the winged insect, it meant that the array only prevented outsiders from barging into the yard.

Furthermore, from the slight ripple in the array, Su Mo could deduce that the array wasn’t very strong.

A mere purple-gold winged insect could move the array and hence, that meant that the array wasn’t incredibly strong.

The purple-gold winged insect had the strength of a Rank 1 Martial Honorable.

With that, Su Mo relaxed and strode out of the guest house to head towards the Holy Sorcerer Yard.

He did not retrieve the purple-gold insect immediately as the attack of the insect could have been noticed by the Sorcerer Tribesmen.

Once the situation had stabilized and once he had successfully infiltrated the auction, it wouldn’t be too late to retrieve the winged insect if it was still alive by then.

A few moments later, Su Mo arrived at the gates of the Holy Sorcerer Yard.
