Chapter 1820: Surrounded By Enemies On All Sides
“I would like to have 5 Sage Class martial skills of the 5 elements!”
Su Mo requested in a low tone. He trusted Saint Elder Zhen Xian and hence sought him out for help.
“5 types of martial skills? The 5 elements?”
Saint Elder Zhen Xian was surprised but he was not taken aback as Su Mo had evidently cultivated the 5 elements.
“Mm, metal, wood, water, fire, ground. These 5 elemental Sage Class martial skills. Senior will you be able to get them? Spiritual Crystals are not a problem.” Su Mo nodded his head to confirm.
He wanted to raise his strength quickly, but he could only practice martial skills to raise his strength for now.
The 5 martial skills that he had been practicing were all Middle Honorable Ranks, their rankings were too low.
If he changed them all to Sacred Class skills, his powers would definitely surge exponentially, even if all of them were Lower Sacred Class skills.
As long as the 5 martial skills were changed to Sacred Class skills, Su Mo was confident that he would be able to accomplish the mission.
“It will be a bit hard to get all Upper Sacred Class skills for you in the short term. If they are Middle or Lower Sacred Class skills, it will be much easier!” Saint Elder Zhen Xian said.
Since Upper Sacred Class skills were too valuable, it would be too hard to get all 5 Upper Sacred Class skills.
That’s because Empty Gods did not have any corresponding martial skills and the Upper Sacred Class skills were the limit for them. As such, their values were inflated.
The True Path Sect did have 2 Upper Sacred Class martial skills but none of them were related to the 5 elements.
On the other hand, as long as Saint Elder Zhen Xian placed in time, he would be able to get Lower or Middle Sacred Class martial skills.
“A Middle Sacred Class skill would be the best. But if there isn’t one, a Lower Sacred Class skill will do!”
Su Mo replied. With that, he flipped his palm over and a storage ring appeared in it. After handing it over to Saint Elder Zhen Xian, he said, “Senior, these are Spiritual Crystals. Is there enough?”

Saint Elder Zhen Xian did not reject Su Mo and he took the storage ring to check it. Since Sacred Class martial skills were expensive, he couldn’t pay the bill for Su Mo.
“You actually have so many Spiritual Crystals?” Slightly glancing through the contents of the storage ring, Saint Elder Zhen Xian exclaimed in shock. Spiritual Crystal were piled up to a mountain in the storage ring and Saint Elder Zhen Xian estimated that there were about 70 to 80 million Upper Spiritual Crystals in it.
“I earned them from Ancientspirit Galaxy!” Su Mo laughed out loud. This was already more than half the Spiritual Crystals that he had with him.
“It is enough. I can get all 5 martial skills of the Middle Sacred Class with these!” Saint Elder Zhen Xian nodded his head.
“That’s great, sorry for the trouble senior, but can it be done quickly?” Su Mo cupped his fists towards Saint Elder Zhen Xian solemnly.
Upgrading his martial skills could not be done in a single night. With only 3 months left to the crowning ceremony, Su Mo had to rush for time.
“No problem. Mingxu Galaxy is large. Getting 5 Middle Sacred Class martial skills of the 5 elements should not be a problem.” Saint Elder Zhen Xian nodded his head. At that moment, he was the only one who could help Su Mo in Mingxu Galaxy.
“Mm! I will be in Sun Moon Tribe and I will wait for your good news!” Su Mo nodded his head.
“Oh right, if I remember correctly, in the Martial Hall of Wendao City in Sun Moon Tribe, there seems to be a fire-based Middle Sacred Class Skill!”
Right at that point, Saint Elder Zhen Xian suddenly pointed out as he thought of the Martial Hall in Wendao City.
“Oh, that’s great. I will head towards the Martial Hall later!”
Su Mo grinned in glee. If he could get a Middle Sacred Class martial skill first, he could start training it first. As such, he wouldn’t be wasting time as he waited for Saint Elder Zhen Xian.
“Mm, go in and take a look. I should be right!”
Saint Elder Zhen Xian urged before he continued, “Su Mo, you trained the 5 elemental martial skills. Are you trying to use them all at the same time and merge them?”

“Mm!” Su Mo nodded his head and confirmed. This is something that could be deduced easily and he didn’t need to hide it.
“Although I don’t know how you managed to simultaneously use all 5 elements at once, this style of training is extraordinary. You will definitely walk down an extraordinary path in the future!” Saint Elder Zhen Xian smiled warmly.
“Mm!” Su Mo nodded his head.
The two conversed casually with each other and before long, they arrived at Sky Moon Mountain.
“Su Mo, head back in. I will help you gather the martial skills!”
Saint Elder Zhen Xian reassured him before he waved his hand to release the Dark Force array surrounding the two of them.
“Thank you!” Su Mo thanked Saint Elder Zhen Xian once again with a bow. Thereafter, his body flashed and he headed back to Sun Moon City.
Saint Elder Zhen Xian also shot through the sky and instantly disappeared into the clouds.
A few moments later, two figured suddenly appeared where Su Mo and Saint Elder Zhen Xian separated.
One of these 2 figures was a short elder Hu Sheng, while the other figure was a short, skinny elder.
“Damn it, Zhen Xian actually protected Su Mo his entire way over!” Hu Sheng cursed as his face blackened.
He had actually followed Su Mo all the way since the two left True Path Sect.
Hu Sheng had invited a fellow sect member, a Martial Sage of the Middle realm to deal with Su Mo.
However, Saint Zhen Xian had escorted Su Mo all the way back to Sky Moon Mountain and the two had no way to attack Su Mo as Saint Elder Zhen Xian was an End Realm Martial Sage.
Hu Sheng inwardly puked blood. Was it so hard for him to get his pagoda back?
“Let’s go. There is no way for us to act anymore!”
The skinny Martial Sage shook his head and did not stay any longer. With a flash, he left the place.
Sigh!
Hu Sheng could only sigh helplessly. He could only leave for now, as bitter as his heart was.
However, he would not give up on the Seven-colored Glazed Pagoda and he would get it back the moment he could.
A few moments later, a slight wave of air moved and Saint Elder Zhen Xian appeared.
“Hu Sheng?” Saint Elder Zhen Xian stared at the two assassins’ figures and sighed. He knew that Hu Sheng would be wanting to get his Seven-colored Glazed Pagoda back.
After all, Hu Sheng had personally gone to the True Path Sect previously to look for Su Mo. This meant that he knew that Su Mo had stolen his Seven-colored Glazed Pagoda.
In actual fact, after they had left the True Path Sect, Saint Elder Zhen Xian had discovered that there were others following Su Mo. As such, he continued conversing with Su Mo all the way to Sky Moon Mountain in a purposeful attempt to protect Su Mo.
“He is really surrounded by enemies from all directions!”
Saint Elder Zhen Xian sighed deeply. Su Mo was always in a hazardous situation.
Not only did he have to beware of Leng Xie’s revenge, he also had a deep grudge against the Sorcerer Tribe who had planted a curse in his body. Now, Su Mo still had to guard against Hu Sheng.
A short while later, Saint Elder Zhen Xian shook his head helplessly and he headed back towards the True Path Sect.
…
Once Su Mo had returned to Sun Moon City, he quickly arrived at Wendao City.
His destination was the Martial Hall in the city.
Without any words, he allowed his Spiritual Senses to spread through the city and quickly found the Martial Hall.
Wendao City was peaceful and quiet. Although the city was big, the entire city was devoid of residents.
The lowest rank resident of the city was a Martial Honorable. If one wasn’t cultivating in seclusion, he would be out to train and hence, hardly anyone would walk through the city.
A few moments later, Su Mo arrived at a big but dusty-looking Martial Hall.

Ph. D. In Sorcery
Follow Anastasia, the unlucky physicist turned wizard, as her reality gets turned upside down and she is plunged into a world of gods, magic, swords, and adventure. Short and sweet description, anything more would be a spoiler and I detest those. Now, what you can expect from reading: This is my first time writing, or better said allowing someone else to read that mess so don’t raise your expectations too much. Still, I will try to keep the story flowing, while also devoting as much time as I can to editing. In my opinion, the story is written at a faster pace than normal with time skips here and there. I will do my best to not allow the faster pace to ruin the story by using those time skips to raise the skill of the main character. I am mainly looking for feedback while I test myself in new and unexplored waters. I did put a lot of thought into worldbuilding and the magic system, it is something that has been mulling inside my head for years before I sat down to write anything down. First and foremost I am an engineer and not a writer. I will try to do my utmost to make the world logical and consistent, but sometimes I might not express that in a way that’s clearly understood. I have a rough outline with several possible endings, but the story will change and evolve as I do. But in case I have to stop for whatever reason, the story will get an ending. It will be done even if I have to send coded messages from a bunker. I am a big fan of the Dresden Files so you can be certain that everything mentioned will in most cases be used, with a few red herrings sprinkled in the mix. But that also means I will enjoy putting the main character through the meat grinder while I eat popcorn and laugh from my evil lair. Physics, and to be more precise electromagnetism, quantum field theory, general and special relativity are very interesting topics for me that I research in my spare time. That means that the premise of the story will be using that research to bring logic to magic. Stupid I know, magic is magic, but to me, there is no reason why there shouldn’t be a concrete set of rules there. But it is still magic and that allows me to play with some things that shouldn’t normally be possible. I will focus on evolving the main character and having her react as anyone normal would, from my perspective. There will be scenes of battle, gore, and sexy times, but I will not go into too many details, counting on your imagination to fill the gaps. There will be plenty of combat, even battles ranging from a few dozen, a hundred, and thousands of participants. I could go on but there isn’t much to say that would convince anyone to read, either you thought the title was cool or you liked the poster. Or not, but after several days in photoshop, that’s the best I could do. And the title was originally Sorceress with a Ph.D. The new one makes a little less sense but I like the ring of it more for some reason. I just hope someone enjoys what I write as much as I do. In the end that is the reason, I am doing this, because I enjoy putting my thoughts on paper and seeing the outcome. Credit for the art: https://www.artstation.com/artwork/e0o8nw
