Xu Wushen sighed, he had to find a valid excuse to explain the matter to Fu Chuan.

After all, although there wasn’t a huge disaster this time, they had made enemies with the Sorcerer Tribe and this would prove terrible for them in the future.

The king spoke as he wore a warm and bright smile on his face.

Yet, Su Mo’s eyes narrowed upon hearing the king’s words. He knew what the king was implying behind his words!

He wasn’t dumb and he knew that firstly, the king was trying to pull their relationship closer and secondly, point him out as an Imperial Ancestor Court Faction member to corner him into giving the Ancient Dragon’s Vein to the Imperial Ancestor Court.

Su Mo laughed bitterly in his heart. Whether or not he obtained the Dragon Vein had nothing to do with the Imperial Ancestor Court, he had won the contest with his own strength.

Although he really wanted to keep the Ancient Dragon’s Vein for himself, he had no intention of devouring it entirely.

After all, Gu Tianyi had helped him and Su Mo would give the Dragon’s Vein to him as thanks.
