Chapter 1747: Strength, Intelligence And Luck!

After glancing at Taishi Yuan once more, Su Mo did not worry much about him. He was just a measly smallfry and he didn’t need to bother too much with him.

Yet, Su Mo could not help feeling slightly helpless as he stared at the cities floating in the sky. The Triple Deities Sect was mighty and the Triple Deities Sect did not even bother inviting the large group of Martial Sages in to seat. Instead, they left the guests to stand outside on the plains.

However, the Triple Deities Sect was strong and no one could complain about anything.

Step! Step! Step!

At that moment, the Second Princess walked briskly over to Su Mo.

Gu Feifei wore a black outfit and had tied a ponytail. She appeared to be as handsome and strong as her male counterparts.

“Su Mo congratulations on your cultivation rank being raised again!” Gu Feifei arrived in front of Su Mo and courteously cupped her fists towards Su Mo.

“Second Princess, I am still far from you!” Su Mo laughed good-naturedly.

“No, I believe that you only need 2 more years to surpass me!” Gu Feifei lightly admitted as she shook her head. In fact, she felt slightly dispirited seeing Su Mo’s improvement.

After all, she was considered a top talent in the Imperial Ancestor Court Faction. Otherwise, she wouldn’t be able to reach the Rank 9 Martial Honorable Realm before she was age 100.

No one could compare to her previously. However, once Su Mo had appeared, many people started to feel dispirited.

“Second Princess, you praise me too much. I believe that you will be a Sage-to-be in 2 years time!” Su Mo laughed. Although he was confident of surpassing the Second Princess in 2 years, he wouldn’t dumbly say it.

“A Sage-to-be?”

Gu Feifei’s eyes sparkled before she laughed, “I am not far from it indeed!”

Her cultivation rank now was at the later end of the Rank 9 Martial Honorable Realm and she was close to becoming a Sage-to-be.

“Second sister, it is almost impossible for him to surpass you!”

Right at that moment, a condescending voice rose out.

“First brother, why do you say so?” Gu Feifei asked as he frowned.

“That is because the geniuses from the Sorcerer Tribe will not give him a chance to live past this Sky Dragon Contest!” The First Prince coldly laughed and scoffed.

Gu Feifei immediately frowned. She knew what the First Prince was implying. However there was nothing impossible in the world and although Su Mo couldn’t possibly stand up to Wu Qiong, he still had hopes of making it out with his life.

After all, he could always escape if he didn’t manage to overpower his opponent. Furthermore, the Triple Deities Sect might protect Su Mo.

“I don’t need the First Prince to worry about whether or not I will live!” Su Mo glanced sideways at the First Prince and glowered.

“Humph! You don’t know your own predicament!” The First Prince laughed coldly as he sneered at Su Mo.

He was in high spirits at the prospect of seeing the battle between Su Mo and Wu Qiong when they met in the Sky Dragon Contest.

Even if Su Mo was called a godly talent that appeared once in a millennia, he wouldn’t be able to survive even if he had exceptional talents.

“Alright, why must the two of you fight among yourselves? You might even end up collaborating in the Sky Dragon Contest!” The king suddenly spoke and chided the two.

“Collaborate with each other?” Su Mo asked curiously. How would they need to collaborate in the Sky Dragon Contest.

Similarly, a confused expression crossed Ren Tianya’s eyes and he appeared to be bewildered as well.

The First Prince, Second Princess and Third Prince, on the other hand, did not appear to be too surprised and they seemed to know a thing or two about what the king had said.

“Your majesty, did the rules for the Sky Dragon Contest really change?” Ren Tianya cupped his fists towards the king and asked in a deep voice. He had also heard the rumors that the rules of the Sky Dragon Contest had changed.

However, even if the rules were changed, they wouldn’t allow people to team up with each other right?

“Mm, the rules have changed from the plain arena battles. Instead, the contest will take into consideration many factors!” The king nodded his head.

“Various factors? What factors? How will we be judged?” Ren Tianya appeared even more curious upon hearing the king’s explanation.

Su Mo’s brows furrowed together as he stared intently at the king without speaking, waiting for him to answer Ren Tianya’s questions.

“I am not too sure of the exact rules myself but they will announce the rules publicly later. However, one thing that we can be sure of is that if we want to perform well, we need strength, intelligence and luck. You must not lack any of these!” The king answered in a deep voice.

He had not been able to participate in the conference where the rules of the Sky Dragon Contest were set. The rules were set by Empty Gods from the various superpowers and they had considered many factors in their decision.

However, although he had not managed to personally participate in the decision-making, he understood a few aspects of the new rules.

Re Tianya fell silent as his eyes sparkled brightly. The change in rules might be a good thing for him.

After all, he knew that it would be a difficult task for him, with his strength to be ranked in the top 100 with an arena battle.

Su Mo’s face went dark. What nonsense did the king mean by strength, intelligence and luck?

Yet, there was nothing he could do but sigh a deep breath and hope that the new rules would be advantageous to him.

Granted, his strength, intelligence and luck were no less than anyone else’s. As long as the rules set were fair, there was no need for him to worry about anything.

Just as Su Mo was pondering to himself, a booming sound erupted from the sky.

Everyone lifted their heads and they saw a few hundred huge figures arriving at Trinity Star.

These few hundred figures had massive bodies and they appeared to be giants from ancient times.

Even the smallest person was about 20 meters tall.

With massive auras, the few hundred figures spread across the sky. As though they were small, individual mountains, they rapidly descended and their powerful auras fell down upon the earth.

The domineering strength of the figures caused many people to feel as though they were crushed by small mountains and they immediately shivered.

Many weaker martial artists directly fell to the ground.

If not for the surrounding array around the plain of the sky city, the terrifying forces would have directly crumbled apart.

Many Martial Sages who saw this happening instantly started to release their Dark Forces that formed a protective array around the disciples of the various superpowers.

The king also acted and he waved his robe to allow an invisible aura to roll out from him and cover Su Mo and the rest of the people from the Imperial Ancestor Court Faction.

In an instant, the few hundred figures lowered themselves onto the ground. As though meteors had struck the earth, an immense shockwave and a devastating earthquake occurred.

Silence suddenly swept through the plains after the explosive sounds died down and everyone stared at the few hundred figures that had arrived.
