Chapter 1745: Unbelievably Fast

In the starry space, Su Mo stood tall and domineering, as though he himself were a jade sword.

“There are 8 days left!” Su Mo let out a long and heavy sigh. There were only 8 days left to the Sky Dragon Contest and it was time for him to return.

The time that he had spent in the starry space cultivating had improved his strength considerably.

Aside from the 5th and 6th move of the Seven Calamities Swordplay, Su Mo had managed to achieve the Small Completion Realm for the last 3 moves of the sword play except for the strongest, the 7th move: Destroy God Attack.

However, that was fine. The 5th move, Star Attack, was almost at the Great Completion Realm and its power was immense.

As his body flashed, Su Mo headed back to Red Millet Star. Time was almost up and the king would definitely want to head out beforehand and thus he had to return.

Not long after, Su Mo arrived back at Saint Royal City and he returned back to Palace Yi without delay.

Almost everyone recognized him in Saint Royal City and even the guards of the palace did not trouble themselves by stopping him.

In Palace Yi, Su Mo returned to the living quarters that he was temporarily living in. He found a middle-aged man waiting for him there.

“Young master, the Eighth Prince has asked me to wait for you here!” The servant cupped his fists respectfully to Su Mo.

“What’s the matter?” Su Mo asked in a deep voice.

“The prince asked me to inform you to wait at the Great Yin-Yang Palace in the morning 5 days later to head towards Trinity Star!” The servant announced.

“I understand, you may leave now!” Su Mo nodded his head.

“Yes!” The servant then bowed and turned to leave.

“I still have 5 days, let me raise my cultivation level to the peak of the Rank 7 Martial Honorable Realm!” Su Mo sighed heavily. He had not raised his cultivation rank ever since he had broken through to the Rank 7 Martial Honorable Realm and hence it was still at the early stages of the rank.

His strength would increase significantly if he raised it from the early stages of the rank to the peak.

After all, there was a large step between the early to the peak of the Rank 7 Martial Honorable Realm.

With that, Su Mo strode into the palace and entered the cultivation room again.

After retrieving a few Spiritual Crystals, Su Mo began to devour them. With the large mass of Spiritual Qi that poured out of the crystals, his cultivation rank began to increase.

In the morning, the sun rose slowly in the sky.

Su Mo wore a long white robe and strode out of the cultivation room, he appeared to be fully alert and prepared.

He had sapped his mental strength previously because he had crafted the Natal Spiritual Swords, but he had recovered his strength now.

Once he was out of the palace, Su Mo walked towards the Great Yin-Yang Palace.

However, before he had walked out of Palace Yi, he saw Gu Tianyi walking towards the palace that he was in.

“Su Mo, I was just about to go and find you!” Gu Tianyi immediately broke out into a smile once he saw Su Mo at the door.

“Let’s go to Great Yin-Yang Palace!” Su Mo said in a low voice. He knew that Gu Tianyi was finding him for that matter.

“Yes!” Gu Tianyi nodded his head.

With that, the two arrived at Great Yin-Yang Palace.

There was a crowd gathered at Great Yin-Yang Palace although there wasn’t as much people as there was at the selection contest previously.

Taking a quick glance, Su Mo estimated that there were around 200 people on the scene.

“Greetings to Eighth Prince!”

Once the crowd saw the arrival of Gu Tianyi and Su Mo, many people cupped their fists together to greet Gu Tianyi and Gu Tianyi courteously accepted their bows.

With that, the two walked into the palace and sat below the grand dragon chair.

The crowd did not bother too much about Gu Tianyi and Su Mo as they began to converse among themselves.

Voices rose above each other in the hall as many people discussed about the Sky Dragon Contest. Everyone had different opinions and they were hence engaged in a heated discussion.

These people were those that would head over to the Sky Dragon Contest as spectators.

At that point, aside from Su Mo, only Ren Tianya had arrived among the 5 selected contestants for the Sky Dragon Contest.

The First Prince, Second Princess and Third Prince had not arrived yet.

“Eighth Prince, you will go over to Trinity Star too right?” Su Mo disregarded Zhu Tong’s glare and calmly asked Gu Tianyi who was beside him. He had to address him by proper terms in a public place.

“Mm, I wouldn’t miss such an important occasion!” Gu Tianyi nodded his head.

Su Mo nodded. That was the case. Who would want to miss an occasion like that?

At that point, Gu Tianyi glanced far away from him and spotted Ren Tianya standing by himself before he turned towards Su Mo again.

He opened his mouth to say something but didn’t utter any words as he swallowed his saliva.

Everyone was waiting for the arrival of the king.

Before long, the air in the middle of the Great Yin-Yang Palace wavered and 4 figures appeared.

These 4 figures were the king, the First Prince, Second Princess and Third Prince.

“Greetings to your majesty!” The crowd immediately bowed towards the king upon seeing him.

“At ease, everyone!” The king acknowledged the greeting lightly before he turned to look at the surroundings. Seeing that everyone had arrived, he said in a loud voice, “Let’s go to Trinity Star!”

With that, he waved his robe and an invisible wave of air rolled out and enveloped everyone in it.

Su Mo suddenly felt his body constrict and he immediately arrived beside the king.

In the next instant, a ray of light flashed and the king and the crowd disappeared from Great Yin-Yang Palace.

That was Su Mo’s first impression. The king enveloped the crowd in an invisible airwave and instantly pulled them into the starry space as they headed towards Trinity Star

With only air-rending sounds by their ears, everyone followed the king and disappeared through the air at an incredibly fast speed.

Su Mo had not expected that the king to head personally towards Trinity Star. He had thought that the crowd would take some spacial device.

However, with the king’s cultivation rank and the speed that he was travelling at, it was much faster than what any spacial device could achieve.

Su Mo estimated this speed to be at least ten times his fastest speed. As expected of a high ranked Martial Sage.
