Chapter 1744: Sky Dragon Contest, It Is Here!
Su Mo prepared to train the Natal Spiritual Sword Array first. He narrowed his eyes and carefully looked through the Mythical Swordmaking Techniques.
There was a large number of sword arrays in the Mythical Swordmaking Techniques and he could pick whatever he wanted to train.
Now that he had flipped through Ou Lianzi’s Mythical Swordmaking Techniques again, Su Mo couldn’t help thinking that Ou Lianzi couldn’t possibly have created so many strong sword arrays.
Ou Lianzi was a craftsman of the Firmament World. How could he have made so many sword arrays?
These sword arrays had definitely passed through the various stars of the various universe. Either that or someone from the Firmament World had managed to get it from somewhere in the galaxy.
After all, the Firmament World in the past wasn’t controlled by the Sorcerer Tribe and it was a small world, untouched by the outside world.
Carefully flipping through the Mythical Swordmaking Techniques, Su Mo chose 3 sword arrays that were suitable for him.
These sword arrays were the Nine Heavens Thunder Fire Sword Array, Minor Heavens Star Sword Array and the Origin Yin-Yang Sword Array.
Su Mo carefully thought through things. He did not cultivate a pure fire-based martial arts and he would definitely not be able to execute the Nine Heavens Thunder Fire Sword Array to its maximum power.
There was also the Minor Heaven Star Sword Array and the Origin Yin-Yang Sword Array and Su Mo finally chose the former of the two.
Firstly, the Minor Heavens Star Sword Array had a sequel to it, the Major Heavens Star Sword Array that he could use in the future.
Secondly, the Origin Yin-Yang Sword Array only required 649 Natal Spiritual Swords while the Minor Heavens Star Sword Array required 720 Natal Spiritual Swords.
In Su Mo’s opinion, the Minor Heavens Star Sword Array required a larger amount of Natal Spiritual Swords and its powers would definitely be stronger.
Furthermore, he had cultivated the Grand Stars Sword Formation previously and it was pretty similar to the Minor Heavens Star Sword Array. As such, he would probably be able to master it in a shorter period of time.
After choosing the sword array, Su Mo began to quietly understand the steps of it.
This Minor Heavens Star Sword Array was not difficult to train. Each of the 720 Natal Spiritual Swords had to link with separate stars in the sky and borrow their cosmic energy.
After carefully examining the sword array, Su Mo began to have a good grasp of the important details of the Minor Heavens Star Sword Array.

However, he couldn’t cultivate a sword array like that in the Bangle Space as he wouldn’t be able to link up with the various stars.
As such, Su Mo left the Bangle Space to walk out of his cultivation room and leave Saint Royal City.
Once he left Saint Royal City, Su Mo shot through the firmament and headed up to the starry sky like a beam of light.
In a 10,000 feet tall pagoda in Saint Royal Palace, the burly, majestic king stood tall and locked his palms behind his back as he looked down at the city below him.
Seeing a streak of light in the distance, the king’s eyes sparkled as shock filled his heart.
“Rank 7 Martial Honorable!” The king muttered to himself. He had seen at a glance that Su Mo’s cultivation rank had been raised to Rank 7 Martial Honorable Realm.
“This disciple is extraordinary!” The king’s eyes sparkled brightly. Su Mo’s raise in cultivation rank meant a simultaneous increase in his powers. The hopes of him entering the top 100 list in the Sky Dragon Contest would increase.
It seemed like he had to seek the advice of his own son to understand Su Mo better.
He knew much about Su Mo and he also knew that Su Mo was the Eighth Prince’s subordinate.
However, a person like that couldn’t be controlled with the Eighth Prince’s cultivation rank.
If he wanted to use a talent like Su Mo for the Imperial Ancestor Court Faction, it would be a difficult task.
Furthermore, Su Mo had a deep grudge against the Sorcerer Tribe and if one wrong step were taken, it could jeopardize the Imperial Ancestor Court Faction.
Of course, everything had to wait till the end of the Sky Dragon Contest. If Su Mo was killed by the Sorcerer Tribesmen at the Sky Dragon Contest, then there was nothing worth considering.
…
In the starry sky, Su Mo stood tall. He had arrived at a far corner of the starry sky that was about half an hour away from Red Millet Star.
Buzz~~
With a thought, a large amount of rays of Sword Radiance around him. These were the 720 Natal Spiritual Swords required for the sword array.
Su Mo had a total of 722 Natal Spiritual Swords but he only needed 720 of them for the Minor Heavens Star Sword Array.
The 720 Natal Spiritual Swords danced around him gracefully. Among them, 100 of the Natal Spiritual Swords were stronger than the other 600.
These 100 Spiritual Swords were the original Spiritual Swords that had been in his mind for almost 10 years. As such, their strengths were much higher than that of the newly crafted Natal Spiritual Swords.

Su Mo’s mind simultaneously linked up to the 720 Natal Spiritual Swords and they spread out to fill the starry sky.
The first step of the sword array was to allow the Natal Spiritual Swords to link up to the stars in the sky and borrow their cosmic energy.
Such a sword array could utilize the cosmic energy of various stars but it was difficult to master.
However, this obstacle did not faze Su Mo and he visualized the starry space in his mind.
The strong mental strength was like an invisible scripture that floated in the air and attracted the cosmic energy from various stars.
A few moments later, a Natal Spiritual Sword suddenly burst with bright starry light.
The aura around this Natal Spiritual Sword exploded out a few times stronger and it surged upwards.
The first Natal Spiritual Sword had successfully linked up with the cosmic energy and had obtained the power of the star.
Following which, the second sword, the third, the fourth…
One by one, Natal Spiritual Swords glowed brightly with dazzling light as they obtained the cosmic power of stars.
This process was slow. After all, it was the first time that Su Mo had used the sword array.
However, everything proceeded smoothly and there were no hiccups along the way.
After one hour, all 720 Natal Spiritual Swords had lit up and a dazzling, starry light formed a whole curtain of light that blinded onlookers.
Su Mo did not feel any pressure as he could control all 720 Natal Spiritual Swords easily with his mental strength.
Once the Natal Spiritual Swords were linked with the cosmic energy, the next step was simple. That was because the Minor Heavens Star Sword Array did not have any spectacular swordplay.
Instead, the swordplay allowed its user to freely use the swords.
Boom boom boom!!
Su Mo’s mind guided the 720 Natal Spiritual Swords to rain down like a downpour as they pierced the air in all directions. The strong forces of this attack instantly caused the empty space around him to crumble apart.
Bam!
With an explosion, all 720 Natal Spiritual Swords shot out by 5 kilometers and crashed against a large meteor that floated through the starry sky.
“Brilliant!” Su Mo nodded his head. He was not used to the sword array since it was his first time using it. However, he was very pleased with the force that the sword array displayed.
In the following time, Su Mo continued to train the Minor Heavens Star Sword Array until he became accustomed to using it.
Furthermore, following his hardcore repetition of the sword array, the 720 Natal Spiritual Swords became able to amass much more cosmic energy, hence increasing the power of the sword array.
Su Mo stayed for half a month in the starry sky until he finally decided that he was familiar enough with the Minor Heavens Star Sword Array and he didn’t need to continue practicing it.
However, he did not return to Saint Royal Palace. Instead, he began to train the Seven Calamities Swordplay. He had to raise his power as much as he could.
That was because he wasn’t sure of the true strength of the godly talents that would attend the Sky Dragon Contest.
The seven sword moves of the Seven Calamities Swordplay were:
Move 1: Wind Thunder Attack!
Move 2: Sea Attack!
Move 3: Fire Cloud Attack!
Move 4: Ice Attack!
Move 5: Star Attack!
Move 6: Empty Space Attack!
Move 7: Destroy God Attack!
Su Mo had managed to train the first 2 moves of the swordplay to the Small Accomplishment Realm and he needed a lot of time before they could reach the Great Completion Realm.
As such, Su Mo decided he might as well train the stronger final moves of the Swordplay as opposed to training the first 2 moves again.
Su Mo skipped the 3rd move, the Fire Cloud attack and the 4th move, the Ice Attack. These 2 moves were completely unsuitable for him to use.
Instead, he directly trained the last 3 moves and began from the 5th move, the Star Attack. Similar to the Minor Heavens Star Sword Array, it required him to be linked to cosmic energy.
In the barren, lonely starry sky, starlight fell from various stars as Su Mo cultivated his martial skill, turning the entire starry sky into a scene of light.
Sword Radiance dripped down like water and starry light sparkled and dazzled his eyes.
Streaks upon streaks of three-colored Sword Qi were blurred by a light, silver-colored starry light as they struck out horizontally across the sky.
An upper Honorable Martial Skill was hard to cultivate and it required a large amount of time. Even Su Mo was not able to master it to the Small Completion Realm in a short amount of time.
Time flew by as he trained and 2 months quickly passed.
The Sky Dragon Contest was here!

The London Phantom: A Superhero Webnovel
London is an old city. It has survived floods, fires, plagues and the man-made smog of industry. It has stood firm against the armies of Vikings, Saxons, Normans and the aerial might of the Luftwaffe. It has borne witness to dynsatic feuds, civil wars, military occupation and the sin of regicide. Through all these disasters the city has survived not through force of arms, though its walls were once the envy of the world, but through adapting to the times. Enemies become dependant on the city, and the wealth of the world that flows through it, and so become new allies. If the rulers change, then the city welcomes them with open arms, and open lines of credit. In this way the city seeks to preserve its ancient rights and position of power. Superheroes are a new phenomenon. The first superpowered man walked out of the Nevada desert in 1950, and the world was forever changed. Across the planet, men and women with exceptional abilities made themselves known. At first, they were little more than another source of fear in the era of Mutually Assured Destruction, but over time attitudes changed and the concept of the Superhero was created in the city of Los Angeles. From there the phenomenon spread across the globe; superheroes went from being feared arms of the state to a symbol of hope in these maddening times. Times have changed. Sixty years from the emergence of the first superhero, the City of London stands on a precipice. Two years have passed since the madman Fawkes nearly brought down the United Kingdom and the remnants of the Bow Street Runners, London's premier superhero team, are struggling to keep order in a city that seems on the brink of collapse. London stands on a knife's edge, with criminal organisations that once stuck to the shadows becoming more bold, and ancient powers from myth and legend making themselves known. Alexander Laszewski has recently 'awakened' and has become entirely unremakable, effectively making himself invisible to the world. He must use his newfound power to navigate a city on the edge of collapse. If only he could figure out how to turn it off.

A few, more than a few, or, miraculously, will he be able to unite all five supernatural Councils (groups) and form an eternal pact that may just last a dozen or so centuries? Find out in the very first instalment of: Querencia Quintet. Quoted from my official Wattpad story's description: "Werewolves. Demons. Angels. Spirits. Vampires. Zombies. Humans -- and the greatest supernatural species of them all; witches. The nine Lords of the Night, the thirteen Lords of the Day, the four Horsemen of the Apocalypse, the god of war, Horus, and the greatest progenitor of the mystical arts, Merlin. These five Councils could form a pact that lasts many lifetimes ... but will their differences and flaws work against them? Do the five magical chambers butt heads, or do they accept their uniqueness and strengths and work together?"
