Chapter 1732: I Am Su Mo

After he left Shenwu Academy, Su Mo headed straight for the Star Teleportation Array.

It required no more than a few hours for him to reach Red Millet Star and Su Mo arrived at Saint Royal City of the Imperial Ancestor Court Faction in the afternoon.

Without delay, Su Mo immediately flew towards the Saint Royal Palace once he reached the city.

He arrived at his destination not long later.

Saint Royal Palace had an extraordinary design as gold and jade lined all corners of the palace, revealing the imperial families’ status.

A few hundred troops wearing golden armor guarded the large gates of the palace as their strong auras filled all directions. No one dared to approach them hastily.

“Who are you?”

Once they saw a figure, the troops in front of the palace gates immediately asked.

The sounds of the unsheathing of swords filled the air as a group of golden-armored troops immediately surrounded Su Mo.

“I am looking for the Eighth Prince!”

Su Mo said in a deep voice. He knew that Gu Tianyi must be in the Imperial Ancestor Court Faction.

That was because Gu Tianyi wasn’t in Shenwu Academy. You Tianhan could confirm that and since Su Mo was mentally linked to his avatar, he also knew that fact.

“Who are you? Why are you looking for the Eighth Prince?” The middle-aged leader of the group demanded to know. The Eighth Prince wasn’t a casual person that anyone could meet.

“I am Su Mo!” Su Mo replied.

“What? You are Su Mo?” The middle aged leader leapt in surprise as his eyes widened in shock and he stared blankly at Su Mo.

The other troops were as shocked as their leaders and their eyes bulged out of their sockets as they stared incredulously at Su Mo.

“That’s right!” Su Mo nodded his head heavily.

The middle-aged leader carefully surveyed Su Mo, his heart was full of doubts. Was that man really Su Mo?

Although he had not seen Su Mo personally before, Su Mo’s name had buzzed through the entire galaxy like thunder. There was no one in the entire galaxy who had not heard Su Mo’s name.

After all, the news about Su Mo and the Sorcerer Tribe had shaken through the galaxy like an earthquake.

Su Mo could be said to be the most famous person in the entire galaxy!

Hence, the middle-aged leader could not believe that Su Mo had actually arrived at Saint Royal Palace!

“Please wait for a while!” The middle-aged leader said in a low voice. Thereafter, he asked an underling to pass the message to the Eighth Prince.

“Mm!” Su Mo nodded his head and patiently waited. Although he had stayed at the Imperial Ancestor Court Faction for a long time, he had been using the name ‘Shangguan Hao’.

A few moments later, the troop that went to send the message returned. The Eighth Prince, Gu Tianyi walked beside him hurriedly.

Gu Tianyi beamed with smiles as he strode out of the palace and walked towards Su Mo.

The group of golden-armored troops were in disbelief. The person before them really was Su Mo. Furthermore, what was more surprising was that the Eighth Prince had personally come out to invite Su Mo in. This was an honor ordinary people would not get to enjoy.

However, it seemed perfectly normal for an infamous person like Su Mo to get the Eighth Prince to personally invite him into the palace.

“Brother Gu, long time no see. You are as great as you were before!” Su Mo cupped his fists towards Gu Tianyi. Gu Tianyi’s cultivation had increased again and although he wasn’t a Rank 6 Martial Honorable yet, he was already at the peak of the Rank 5 Martial Honorable Realm.

“Go, lets head inside and talk over drinks!” Gu Tianyi beckoned Su Mo into the Saint Royal Palace with a wave of his hand.

With that, the two briskly walked into Saint Royal Palace together.

Before long, they had arrived at the Palace Yi that Gu Tianyi resided in.

Palace Yi was a mansion inside Saint Royal Palace and it stood in an area over a few square kilometers wide. Mesmerizing ponds, lush green trees and majestic pavilions were among the numerous sights that surrounded his mansion.

Inside a pavilion beside a pond, the two sat side by side as they stared at the clear blue water in the pond before them.

“Brother Su, I heard of everything that happened to you. I am truly shocked by what happened!” Gu Tianyi said in a low voice.

“This matter is a closed chapter already!” Su Mo said.

“Right. As long as you returned safely, it is a good thing!” Gu Tianyi smiled before he sighed. “Previously, Second Sister sent me a message. It said that you were captured by Sorcerer Tribesmen at the Dark Iron Mine and had died. I regretted this terribly and I should not have dispatched you!”

“It is fine, you don’t have to blame yourself for it!”

Su Mo shook his head and continued, “Brother Gu, the Sorcerer Tribe and I are arch enemies. Is the Imperial Ancestor Court Faction willing to accept me?”

Su Mo’s question went straight for the important matter. The grudge between him and the Sorcerer Tribe was known to the whole world. Typically, no superpower would be willing to accept him for fear of offending the Sorcerer Tribe.

“Brother Su, what are you talking about? We are friends, and as long as you request something, I will try my best to fulfill it!” Gu Tianyi said in a low tone.

“Thank you Brother Gu!” Su Mo cupped his fists towards Gu Tianyi and he stared directly into his eyes. Su Mo tried to find out whether Gu Tianyi was speaking the truth or not, but Su Mo couldn’t figure him out.

“You don’t have to be so polite between us!” Gu Tianyi waved his hand dismissively, as though he and Su Mo were brothers.

Su Mo’s voice deepened and he asked, “Brother Gu, when will the shortlisting of names for the Sky Dragon Contest occur?”

“I am not sure about that as of now. My father will arrange this matter personally but he has closed himself in cultivation and has not come out yet!”

Gu Tianyi shook his head and continued, “Brother Su, you don’t have to worry. My father will definitely come out of his seclusion before the Sky Dragon Contest.”

“Mm!” Su Mo nodded his head. He was not anxious and he only wanted to get himself selected to represent the Imperial Ancestor Court Faction.

This was a piece of cake for him.

At that point, Gu Tianyi’s face darkened and he said, “Su Mo, with your strength, getting shortlisted for the Sky Dragon Contest is no problem. However, you and the Sorcerer Tribe are enemies. It might be too dangerous for you to attend the Sky Dragon Contest!”

“It’s alright. You don’t have to worry about me as I have my plans!” Su Mo shook his head.

“It seems that you are very confident!” Gu Tianyi was taken aback by Su Mo’s words.

“I will just try my best!” Su Mo laughed.

The two shared a casual conversation under the glare of the afternoon sun in the pavilion. As though they were long lost friends, they talked for 2 hours straight.

After that, Gu Tianyi called for a servant to arrange a place for Su Mo to stay in Palace Yi.

Su Mo was not going to return to the Red Dragon Camp as he would stay in Palace Yi for the time being.

Once Su Mo had left, Gu Tianyi sat alone under the shade of the pavilion as he calmly stared at the pond. His eyes brimmed as he thought carefully.

He could see that Su Mo’s cultivation rank had reached the Rank 6 Martial Honorable Realm. This speed of cultivation was too fast and it exceeded his expectations.

This was a good and bad thing for him.

He wasn’t afraid of accepting Su Mo into the Imperial Ancestor Court Faction as the Sorcerer Tribe had temporarily given up on pursuing him. Furthermore, the Triple Deities Sect had assured that the Sorcerer Tribe would not attack Shenwu Academy.
