Chapter 1719: Another Trump Card

“Please dispense with the formalities and make yourself comfortable. You will be able to get out of this place soon!” Su Mo waved his hand and did not make further comment.

Many bugs outside were attacking the Seven-color Glazed Pagoda crazily.

Pom! Pom! Pom!

The loud bangs continued and the Seven-color Glazed Pagoda kept shaking as the bugs hit it.

Su Mo did not try to control the Glazed Pagoda as he wanted to refine the King of the bugs and subdue it.

Everything would be fine after he had subdued the King of the bugs.

The King of the bugs kept struggling in Su Mo’s hand but Su Mo grabbed it tightly using his Dark Force. It could not break away from Su Mo no matter how hard it tried.

“After I have subdued you, I will be able to control the other bugs!” Light flashed across Su Mo’s eyes and he gradually increased his strength.

Vast power flowed out of Su Mo’s hand and he squeezed the King of the bugs. He was careful in controlling his force as he did not want to kill it. After all, the bug was not the pure golden bug.

Chirp! Chirp!

The King of the bugs let out a strange cry when Su Mo squeezed it hard. Su Mo observed the life force of the bug and he realized that it kept growing stronger.

After a while, the King of the bugs became seriously injured and it seemed to be dying. It then stopped struggling.

Su Mo stopped squeezing the bug as he was afraid of killing it. Judging from the situation, what he had done was enough.

As the bug had been seriously injured, it could be easily subdued.

Su Mo triggered his Spiritual consciousness and entered the bug’s body.

Very quickly, he found the bug’s Spiritual Soul. Although the bug was tiny, it was a living thing and thus it had a Spiritual Soul.

Su Mo used his powerful Spiritual consciousness to cover the bug’s Spiritual Soul and started to refine it.

Su Mo did not refine the bug with the same methods used for refining the Dark Force. He merged his Spiritual Imprint with the bug’s Spiritual Soul so that they were connected by their thoughts. Through that method, Su Mo was able to control the bug.

Su Mo got it done easily. His Spiritual consciousness was vast and the bug’s Spiritual Soul could not contend with it.

Everything proceeded in an orderly manner and Su Mo started to refine the bug’s Spiritual Soul.

Pom! Pom! Pom!

The bugs continued to bang on the Seven-color Glazed Pagoda, causing the ground of Demon Mountain to quake. However, the bugs were unable to get into the Pagoda.

Without the leadership of the King of the bugs, the bugs were scattered and they fought their own battle. They were unable to form the Sword.

Time passed by quickly and in about 15 minutes, Su Mo finished refining the bug.

After he had finished refining the bug, he left his Spiritual Imprint on the bug’s Spiritual Soul and merged with it.

He was currently the master of the King of the bugs.

Buzz! Buzz! Buzz!

Su Mo released his palm and the King of the bugs flapped its wings. It then flew up slowly and it seemed to be trembling.

It had been seriously injured after Su Mo had squeezed it hard.

After the King of the bugs flew up, it did not attack Su Mo. If flew around Su Mo twice and stopped in front of him.

When Su Mo saw this, he smiled. He could feel that the bug was in pain and it had suffered a serious injury.

“This is for you!” Su Mo turned over his palm and a small jade bottle appeared in his hand. It was the jade bottle that he had used to store the Ancient Demon’s medulla.

Su Mo removed the cover and brought the jade bottle before the King of the bugs.

Chirp! Chirp!

The King of the bugs seemed to have detected food and it let out a sharp cry. It then flew straight into the jade bottle.

Su Mo smiled when he saw it. The King of the bugs was desperately devouring the Ancient Demon’s medulla.

Although the bug was small, it had a good appetite. It devoured much of the Ancient Demon’s medulla in no time.

In the twinkle of an eye, the King of the bugs consumed all the Ancient Demon’s medulla. It then flew out of the jade bottle and came in front of Su Mo.

“Great! You have recovered from your injuries!” Su Mo looked shocked. The bug was currently filled with vitality and it no longer looked frail!

It had never occurred to Su Mo that devouring the Ancient Demon’s medulla not only could purify the bug but could treat its injury as well!

Su Mo was elated as he discovered that there were changes on the bug. The purplish-gold color had been dimmed and it had become more golden in color. That meant that the bug was gradually changing to a golden color.

That type of bug was similar to a ladybug. Its shape was round and the carapace was huge. The only difference was its mouth, which was slightly longer than its body. It was like a short, sharp sword.

Su Mo then triggered his thought. He left the Seven-color Glazed Pagoda with the King of the bugs and they went to Demon Mountain.

He could not wait to see if he could control the bugs.

The bugs stopped attacking the Seven-color Glazed Pagoda when they saw the King of the bugs. They immediately swarmed toward the King of the bugs as though thousands of soldiers saw their King and they gathered around him.

When Su Mo saw it, he triggered his thoughts and instructed the King of the bugs.

Chirp! Chirp!

The King of the bugs chirped and a faint soundwave exuded from its mouth.

Buzz! Buzz!

Suddenly, the bugs gathered together.

In an instant, a sword of about 30 centimeters took shape.

Purplish-gold and silver radiance glittered on the sword and it was formed by 16 purplish-gold bugs and thousands of silver bugs. As the King of the bugs had joined the formation, the sword power became mightier.

“Great!” When Su Mo saw it, he was elated. He stretched out his hand and grabbed the Winged Insect Sword.

When Su Mo sensed the Winged Insect Sword in his hand, he nodded. The power of the sword was comparable to his Upper Honorable Stone Sword. Moreover, it could attack on its own.

Most importantly, the bugs could grow up. Leaving aside the possibility of them evolving into golden bugs, if more than 10 other bugs evolved into purplish-gold bugs, the power of the sword would be enhanced tremendously.

Great! I have another trump card! Su Mo was overjoyed. However, he could not allow the bugs to evolve slowly. He had to hasten the change.

He then triggered his thoughts and the King of the bugs passed down the order to disperse the bugs from the sword formation.

In a flash, Su Mo flew toward the Ancient Demon’s Brain.

All the bugs followed behind him and none of them attacked him.

The King of the bugs had been subdued by Su Mo and the ordinary bugs did not attack him under the order of the King of the bugs.

When Su Mo came to the Ancient Demon’s Brain, he immediately took out the Stone Sword and threw out more than 10 blows.

Boom! Boom! Boom!

There were loud explosions and Demon Mountain quaked as Su Mo threw out the blows. It was similar to a magnitude 12 earthquake.

After Su Mo had thrown out the blows, more than 10 longsword marks appeared on the Ancient Demon’s Brain and a large amount of purple Ancient Demon’s medulla flowed out.

Chirp! Chirp! Chirp!

Ear-piercing chirping sounds resounded all of a sudden and all the bugs rushed toward the Ancient Demon’s Brain.

I hope that before Sky Dragon Contest takes place, more purplish-gold bugs will evolve from them! Su Mo smiled when he saw the scene, and he floated out of Demon Mountain.
