Chapter 1652: Finally Arrived
Su Mo had already tried merging the Chaotic Qi a few thousand times and he was now stuck at a crossroad.
In the span of 1 breath, Su Mo merged the Chaotic Qi successfully and the five-colored Dark Force turned into the greyish-white colored Chaotic Qi.
The control of his mental strength was pushed to its limits as Su Mo desperately tried to maintain the stability of the Chaotic Qi.
Increasing the strength of his Spiritual Soul increased his control of his mental strength. As such, Su Mo found it easier to merge the Chaotic Qi.
Boom!
A few moments later, the Chaotic Qi between Su Mo’s fingertips exploded again with a loud bang.
The Bangle Space shook violently, like an earthquake shaking a mountain.
However, Su Mo’s eyes were sparkling. The Chaotic Qi had managed to be held for close to the span of a breath.
“It is indeed useful!” Su Mo was delighted. The increase in his mental strength did allow him to stabilize the Chaotic Qi.
However, holding it for a breath of time was too short a timespan. It was practically useless. Su Mo needed to extend the time he could control it.
Even two to three breaths of time was sufficient for battle.
After all, Su Mo could gather a strong attack in two to three breaths of time with his current cultivation rank and unleash it on his enemy.
Without further hesitation, Su Mo walked into Demon Head Mountain again and retrieved a whole ton of Ancient Demon’s Medulla.
Although the purple-gold insects once again formed a longsword to attack him with, they were powerless against Su Mo as they were destroyed again.
In the next few moments, Su Mo devoured a medulla ten times the size of the previous medulla.
However, he had thought that his Spiritual Soul would surge powerfully but that did not happen. While his Spiritual Soul did become more powerful, it was only a tiny bit more powerful.
No matter how much more medulla he devoured, Su Mo’s Spiritual Soul and mental strength did not improve significantly and after a while he was stuck at the same strength level.
“It seems like the medulla of the Ancient Demon’s Brain is the same as the Blood Heart Fruit. Devouring a large amount of it is useless!” Su Mo sighed deeply. He had given the Blood Heart Fruit and a few other resources to Emperor Shi for him to allocate to a few geniuses in Firmament Palace.

Since the effectiveness of the Ancient Demon’s medulla was insignificant already, Su Mo did not force it down.
Now that his mental strength had increased by another notch, he could try stabilizing the Chaotic Qi again.
With that, Su Mo merged the Chaotic Qi again, very quickly succeeding.
He focused his mental strength tightly to control the Chaotic Qi stability as much as he could.
Time passed by. One breath of time, it had exceeded the previous time he tried.
Boom!
The Chaotic Qi exploded again, the time it held was exactly one breath of time.
“One breath of time is not enough!”
Su Mo continued to merge the Chaotic Qi again, relentlessly trying and trying without stopping for a break.
After 3 days of time, Su Mo control over the Chaotic Qi was much more accurate. He had managed to reach the point where the Chaotic Qi was stable for one and a half breaths of time.
“One and a half breaths of time can barely be used to attack!” Su Mo sighed. This duration of stability was minimally available for use in battle.
However, he could not use the Chaotic Qi for long-distance battles as, before the attack reached his opponent, the Chaotic Qi would self-destruct.
This was because merging the Chaotic Qi and gathering the attack would require some time.
Furthermore, once he had merged the Chaotic Qi, he would have to immediately attack with it. Otherwise, it would explode on him.
Su Mo could still split the Chaotic after the merging. Yet, this process was much slower and the Chaotic Qi would explode before he had completed the splitting.
Su Mo felt helpless. He had thought that merging the Chaotic Qi would allow his strength to increase exponentially and he had not expected to find himself stuck at every corner he turned.
However, this outcome was still a strong card for him. An ultimate strong card.
A few moments later, Su Mo prepared to continue merging the Chaotic Qi again. His objective was to prolong the stability of the Chaotic Qi. However, a thought rushed through his mind at that point and he knew that someone was knocking on the door of his stone palace in the outside realm.
With that, Su Mo left the Bangle Space and returned to the stone palace.
His visitor was Heng Fei, Ge Li and some other men. The selection for the squad leaders had ended and the positions of the other 7 squad leaders had been filled.

As such, the ten squad leaders came to report to Su Mo.
Heng Fei had achieved what he had promised, and he was now the squad leader of the 29th squad.
Su Mo scanned the people before him and found a few familiar faces. After instructing the squad leaders to carefully supervise their squads, he dismissed the group.
“I shall continue cultivating then!” Su Mo decided to use his time to cultivate and practice the last few moves of the Seven Calamities Swordplay.
However, 2 hours later, someone knocked on the door of the stone palace again.
As Su Mo opened the door, a tall man wearing golden armor stood in front of him.
“What is it?” Su Mo looked at the man and asked curiously. The man wore golden armor and he was obviously a troop from the Saint Royal Palace and not one from the Red Dragon Camp.
“The Eighth Prince invites you to the Saint Royal Palace!” The golden-armored man said.
“Mm!” Su Mo nodded his head. Gu Tianyi had invited him over and hence he had to go.
With that, Su Mo shut the palace doors and followed the golden-armored troop towards Saint Royal Palace.
“Squadron Leader Shangguan, the Sorcerer Tribesmen are here!”
As soon as they left Red Dragon Camp, the golden-armored troop suddenly blurted out.
“What?” Su Mo was taken aback and a flash passed through his eyes. Did they finally arrive?
“Eighth Prince wants me to inform you to be prepared!” The golden-armored man continued.
“Mm!”
Su Mo nodded his head and asked again, “They went to Saint Royal Palace directly?”
“No, they arrived at Saint Royal City and were immediately discovered. Eighth Prince invited them to Saint Royal Palace.” The golden-armored troop shook his head.
“I see!” Su Mo exclaimed in realization. He had to give credit to Saint Royal City’s security for discovering the Sorcerer Tribesmen.
“How many Sorcerer Tribesmen came? What cultivation ranks are they at?” Su Mo asked the golden-armored troop.
“Two people. I am not sure of their exact ranks but they are both Martial Honorables.” The man answered.
Su Mo heaved a sigh of relief. As long as a Martial Sage did not come, he stood a chance.
However, Su Mo wasn’t sure whether Gu Tianyi would offend the Sorcerer Tribe to protect him. Unless Gu Tianyi wasn’t able to suppress the Sorcerer Tribe…
After all, Gu Tianyi was only a prince whose cultivation rank was not high. He could not be like Estate Master Du and Grandmaster Huo Yuan who were stubborn with their stances, humiliating the Grand Priest.
However, Su Mo was slightly confident in Gu Tianyi because Gu Tianyi had long known about the grudge between Su Mo and the Sorcerer Tribe., but Gu Tianyi had brought him to Saint Royal City with that knowledge, so Su Mo could see Gu Tianyi’s attitude.
Gu Tianyi would definitely try as much as he could to protect Su Mo.
Su Mo followed the troop and quickly entered Saint Royal City. However, they did not go to Gu Tianyi’s ‘Yi Palace’. Instead, they went to a secluded building in the palace.
The man nodded his head towards Su Mo, signaling to Su Mo that they had arrived. After that, he turned and left.
Staring at the doors to the palace, Su Mo sighed deeply and pushed open the doors to walk in.
The palace was broad and spacious and a total of four people were in the room. Gu Tianyi was seated on the main seat in the room.
To Gu Tianyi’s bottom left corner, an elder wearing a green robe sat.
On his right, Wu Han and Wu Fengtian sat.
The four people were engaged in a discussion and they immediately stared at Su Mo the moment he entered.
Wu Han and Wu Fengtian’s eyes were as cold as a knife blade and they did not hide their killing intent.
“Greetings to the Eighth Prince!”
Su Mo walked forward and cupped his fists towards Gu Tianyi. With others here as well, Su Mo had to be polite to Gu Tianyi.
“Su Mo, let me introduce you. This is Sage-to-be Zhu Yi, the commander of the Red Dragon Camp!” Gu Tianyi smiled and introduced the elder on his left to Su Mo.
“Greetings to the Commander!” Su Mo immediately cupped his fists and greeted the green-robed elder. At the same time, he was surprised. Gu Tianyi was prepared and he had invited the commander to the palace as well. Could he be trying to pressure the Sorcerer Tribesmen?
“At ease!” The green-robed elder carefully stared at Su Mo and acknowledged.
“Su Mo, this is Honored Wu Han and this is Young Clan Leader, Wu Fengtian!” Gu Tianyi pointed to the two Sorcerer Tribesmen and introduced the two men.
“Mm!”
Su Mo glanced at the two and wiggled his nose as his face went cold.

His eyes had turned bloodshot and his hands shook with rage. “The first thirty…” “Shut up!” Genzo bellowed “How dare you help these disrespectful gaijin?” Flecks of spit and madness flew from his face, his fist raised ready to strike. But Emi did not flinch, instead she was about ready to continue when Yuma Takeuchi interrupted her. “Uchida, please,” her sweet sounding words could melt ice. “I think we will have a better chance of getting home if we all work together.” When she glanced up with her sleepy looking eyes at Genzo Uchida he deflated visibly. “Were not getting home.” Uchida said coolly. “Group summoning, large, that puts us in the 60 series. No one came to greet us after five minutes of arrival. That leaves scenarios 68 and 69. In scenario 68 there is something that binds the large group together; they are all classmates or a single family. But thanks to the gaijin” he spit out the word “I think we are scenario 69 with no way home.” Ikko Inoue’s eyes went wide, while Katsukno and Hayata started muttering to themselves. Tim took on a serious look and rubbed his scruffy chin. Emi maintained her stoic expression while trying to find something to refute. McKenzie glanced at Randall and giggled. Randall took the prompting of his teammate and followed up by approaching Genzo. “Uh, so we are in a sixty-nine?” “Yes.” Replied Genzo with the seriousness of someone who’s life was about to end. McKenzie covered her mouth and snickered. “You and me, were stuck in a sixty-nine situation?” Randall pushed with a grin. “Yes, we are all stuck in a sixty-nine scenario together!” Genzo retorted in anger. McKenzie fell on her butt laughing. “What the hell is so funny?” Demanded Genzo, whose face had turned red. “It’s a problem with the automatic translation.” Retorted Tim. Randall, who seemed unable to quit started in again “So, about this sixty-ni…” Genzo interrupted Randall with a swift punch to the face. But, because of their height difference it was a bit of an uppercut that left Randall rattled. Tim and Ikko moved to step in between the two, but Genzo showed no further hostility. Instead he just stared at his clenched fist with such intensity it grabbed the attention of the room. “I unlocked a skill.” He said bluntly. ***************************** This is not a light novel, but people who like light novels should enjoy the themes of this book. ***************************** A Map of the Region

After All
This is not my story. My story was of a world I forged by my raw will, and of you, my children, forged of my dreams. That story has long since ended. Our world was not alone. Another deity came from beyond my sight, and despite our resistance rent our world asunder. In the end, all was lost and you were gone. That I survived your passing is a testament to the cruelty of existence; I cannot forgive existence for the monstrous crime of making me go on without you. This is the story of a new world, forged by the hands of fools. That it is made from the bones of that which I most hated will bring this place no absolution. In the fullness of time, I will seize the reins of this new narrative, and I shall end it. You are lost to me, my children. I will make a funeral pyre of all reality for you, and be with you in oblivion after all. --- DocSumac here. This is a story that has been rattling around in my head for years. It's not complete, but I'm not going to let it haunt me anymore. I'm uploading what is ready, and I'll add more as I can. --- Addendum May 20, 2020: I've added the Sex tag. Not because of actual smut, but becuase of what will probably devolve into an ongoing parade of dick jokes. No point denying my nature.
