Chapter 1604: The Strongest Person

Yun Youyou was fast and she led both of them along the way.

“Holy Lady, where are you headed to?” Su Mo caught up to her and asked.

“We will take the fastest road to Ancientspirit Galaxy!” Yun Youyou said. For the past few days, she had researched on the ways to reach Ancientspirit Galaxy and had found the fastest route over.

“Oh? Then how long will it take to reach it?” Su Mo asked curiously.

“About 6 months!” Yun Youyou said. This was already the fastest route and the other routes would need up to a year to reach their destination.

“6 months!” Su Mo frowned slightly. The duration was too long and he didn’t have that much time to waste.

After all, the Ancient Demon’s Heart he had with him had to be handed over to the Myriad World Mountain within 6 months. Su Mo was afraid that he would be in trouble if he exceeded this time frame.

Originally, he had predicted that with their current cultivation, they could reached Ancientspirit Galaxy in 3 to 4 months, even without going by Myriad World Mountain.

If that was the case, he would reach Ancientspirit Galaxy before he headed to Myriad World Mountain.

“Holy Lady, I know a way for us to reach Ancientspirit Galxy in three months!” Su Mo said in a low voice.

“Oh? There is such a route?” Yun Youyou stopped and looked at Su Mo, surprised.

“Mm!” Su Mo nodded his head and continued helplessly, “However, I must go alone along this route and you cannot reveal yourself!”

“What does that mean?” Yun Youyou asked, confused.

“It is like this. This route belongs to a special superpower and I can use this route because I have a relationship with this superpower. However, outsiders cannot use this route and, hence, if we are to go by this way, you will have to hide in a spacial device!” Su Mo explained quickly.

Yun Youyou’s face turned solemn. Was there really such a route? It didn’t seem possible!

The Sun Moon Tribe, as the dominant superpower in the Ming Xu Galaxy, did not even know of such a route. Even the transportation arrays between stars had distance limitations and they had to transfer between stars.

Ming Xu Galaxy was also far from Ancientspirit Galaxy and even if they didn’t stop travelling through the transportation arrays, they wouldn’t be able to reach Ancientspirit Galaxy in 3 months.

“Forget it, let’s just head over by my route!”

A few moments later, Yun Youyou shook her head and turned down Su Mo’s suggestion.

She didn’t fully trust Su Mo and she did not know what tricks Su Mo was playing!

Yun Youyou was fully prepared for the journey to Ancientspirit Galaxy and she had taken a very strong killing weapon with her in case she fell into Su Mo’s traps.

Yun Youyou was smart and she knew that her special body constitution attracted many men to her.

Hence, she had to be extra cautious. If Su Mo really was lying to her, she would not hesitate to kill him.

“Holy Lady, 6 months is too long!” Su Mo sighed. He knew that Yun Youyou definitely would not agree to him.

“We will hurry and try to reach there before 6 months!” Yun Youyou dismissed him.

“This… alright!” Su Mo was hesitant but he eventually nodded his head. Since Yun Youyou had made her decision, he didn’t want to pressure her.

Su Mo could only try to rush back to Ancientspirit Galaxy in 6 months. Once he brought Yun Youyou to Firmament Palace, he would immediately head to Myriad World Mountain.

“Alright, let’s go then!”

Yun Youyou called him on and her body jerked as she shot through the sky. Su Mo immediately followed her.

There was a teleportation array in a lake not far away from Ancient Tong City. Not long later, the two arrived at the teleportation array and left Sun Moon Star.

In the following days, the two went on their way without stopping, transferring from star to star.

This route was planned carefully by Yun Youyou and she was very clear on it. Su Mo only had to follow her.

The two slowly flew further and further away from Sun Moon Star as time passed by.

A lake lay in the middle of a vast plain.

The lake was about a kilometer wide and the water in the lake was so clear, one could see the bottom of the lake. Mist formed a layer on top of the lake as Spiritual Qi circulated in the air.

In the middle of a lake, a small island resided.

This island was incredibly small and it was only 200 meters wide. Dense spiritual mist covered the island, giving off a spiritual, mystifying aura. The island seemed to be a holy island.

This was the core place of the Sun Moon Tribe, Yin Shen Island

Yin Shen Island was where the leader of the Sun Moon Tribe lived and it was a mysterious place in the Sun Moon Tribe. It stood in the middle of the Sun Moon Tribe and Ming Xu Galaxy.

At that point, Leng Xie stood at the corner of the island in a white robe. As he stared at the water in the lake, his face turned incredibly dark.

This man was the leader of the Sun Moon Tribe, Yin Shen.

“Xie’er, you have disappointed me greatly!” Yin Shen folded his arms together and his eyes stared off into the lake as he sighed.

“Teacher, I…!” Leng Xie stuttered as his heart contorted. He knew that Yin Shen must have found out about his battle with Su Mo.

He wanted to explain but he couldn’t find any excuse for himself.

“Xie’er, do you know who is the strongest in this world?” Yin Shen lightly asked. His blurry face made it hard to decipher his expression.

“Of course, it must be an Empty God-like teacher!” Leng Xie quickly said.

“Wrong!”

Yin Shen shook his head slightly as he explained, “In this world, the strongest person is the one who can grow from adversity. The one who can rise from defeat!”

“Grow from adversity and rise from defeat?” Leng Xie muttered to himself.

“That’s right, they are the ones who believe in the impossible and whose perseverance and determination cannot be destroyed. That is the real strong individual!” Yin Shen nodded his head.

Leng Xie fell silent before he heavily nodded his head, “I understand!”

He understood that his teacher was telling him that he was not determined enough and lacked will.

“You are too rash!” Yin Shen sighed.

“Teacher, your disciple knows he is wrong!” Leng Xie sighed deeply as he calmed himself down.

“Mm, take this as the first defeat for you but a trial for yourself. You need to have a strong belief in yourself such that nothing can stop you in the future. That is how you will be able to lead Sun Moon Tribe!” Yin Shen turned around and looked at Leng Xie. Leng Xie was outstanding in all aspects except for his personality.

This was also because he had not suffered any setbacks before and his life was too peaceful.

Of course, it wasn’t a large matter. After all, Leng Xie’s cultivation rank was till low and once it increased, he could challenge the top geniuses of the other galaxies. By then, his heart and mind would quickly mature.
