At the Ancient Demon’s Cemetery where the Demon Head Mountain was.

The area was silent and a large, ominous crater was in the floor. This was evidence of the Demon Head Mountain being taken away.

Up in the air, a short but strong elder in a light purple long robe was floating, his face as cold as ice.

This elder was the elder that had gone to the True Path Sect previously. The Martial Sage – Hu Sheng.

“Not here?” Hu Sheng stared at the crater on the ground and frowned. He naturally had come here to retrieve his Seven-colored Glazed Pagoda but the Demon Head Mountain was nowhere to be found!

Elder Ma and the rest had immediately informed Hu Sheng about what had happened in the Ancient Demon’s Cemetery the moment they returned to the sect.

Li Hentian was dead and the Seven-colored Glazed Pagoda was trapped in the Ancient Demon’s Cemetery.

Therefore, Hu Sheng rushed to the Sun Moon Tribe without any delay and explained his situation to the superiors in order to obtain the privilege to go to the Ancient Demon’s Cemetery.

However, he was perplexed because he could not sense the Seven-colored Glazed Pagoda.

Seven-colored Glazed Pagoda was linked to his mind and he could sense it even if was 1000 kilometers away or if it was a small world. Even if someone hid it inside a Bangle Space, Hu Sheng would arguably still be able to sense it.

However, it was truly a puzzling thing that he could not sense the pagoda here.

Sighing deeply, Hu Sheng turned and left the area.

“Hm?” Right at that moment, Hu Sheng’s body jerked and a sharp light shot out of his eyes. He found where the Seven-colored Glazed Pagoda was.

Waving his hand, Hu Sheng’s body flashed and he immediately disappeared.

A figure suddenly appeared before the Sealed Demon Monument on a mountain and Hu Sheng emerged.

“It is in True Path Sect!”

Hu Sheng narrowed his eyes and stared in the direction of the True Path Sect. he could sense clearly that the Seven-colored Glazed Pagoda was at Wen Dao Mountain of the True Path Sect.

Bright light flashed past and Hu Sheng’s body once again disappeared.

In the Bangle Space, Su Mo started to cultivate after he checked through the Seven-colored Glazed Pagoda.

Such a weapon required the user to leave a mental mark on it for it to be used.

Mental energy rushed in like a stream of water and surrounded the Seven-colored Glazed Pagoda. Then, it started to seep into the pagoda.

However, a strange thing happened. Just as Su Mo’s mental energy was about to enter the pagoda, it was suddenly forced away.

“What a strong mental seal!” Su Mo’s face instantly darkened. He could feel a strong mental energy blocking his way into the pagoda.

He didn’t have to think twice to know that the mental energy belonged to the owner of the pagoda.

The owner of the pagoda must be a Martial Sage to have such a strong mental energy seal. As long as the owner wasn’t dead, the mental seal would be under the owner’s control and it would prevent Su Mo from using the pagoda.

Right at that moment, the pagoda started to shake violently as it tried to leave. However, Su Mo’s eyes were sharp and his hands were fast. He immediately grabbed ahold of the pagoda.

“Forget it!” Su Mo sighed out loud. He admitted that he was greedy and since he couldn’t keep ahold of the pagoda anymore, he would give up on it.

With that, Su Mo stood up and left the Bangle Space.

Right at that moment, Su Mo stopped himself as a light bulb flashed in his head.

“That’s not right. The pagoda was within the Demon Head Mountain for so long, but nothing happened. How could I have been found out the moment I took it out?” Su Mo wondered to himself.

When he checked through the Seven-colored Glazed Pagoda in the Demon Head Mountain, there was no mental seal on it.

However, right now, the mental energy in the pagoda was surging like a waterfall. Even martial artists below the Martial King Realm would have been able to feel it clearly.

Furthermore, the owner was trying to retrieve the pagoda. Why didn’t the owner do so when the pagoda was in the Demon Head Mountain?

Su Mo’s eyes brimmed with brilliance and he slowly turned his head to stare at the Demon head Mountain.

Could it be that the mountain had blocked the mental connection the owner had with the pagoda?

Su Mo thought to himself. It was a highly possible thing.

With that, his body flashed and he immediately walked into the Demon Head Mountain again.

The moment he entered the cave, the mental seal on the Seven-colored Glazed Pagoda instantly disappeared.

“As expected!” Su Mo’s heart jumped in realisation. It really was what he had guessed. In the Demon Head Mountain, some mysterious forces were at work to block off the mental connection between the owner and the Seven-colored Glazed Pagoda.

No wonder nothing had happened when the pagoda was in the Demon Head Mountain for so long. But once Su Mo tried to take it out, the pagoda instantly connected to its owner.

“Thank the heavens for helping me!” Su Mo smiled happily. Even the gods above were helping him keep the pagoda!

Since that was the case, Su Mo would happily accept it.

The Empty Sky Sect wanted to kill him, so Su Mo would take their treasured weapon too!

Su Mo made his way back to the wide space of the Ancient Demon’s Brain and dropped the Seven-colored Glazed Pagoda in a corner.

In actual fact, Su Mo could refine the pagoda for himself. However, to prevent the owner from finding out, Su Mo did not rush to refine it.

He had plenty of time to refine the pagoda for himself as long as he could avoid being sensed by the owner.

With that done, Su Mo immediately headed back out and left the Bangle Space.

Once Su Mo had returned to his place, he frowned and thought deeply. It would be dangerous for him to continue waiting there as the owner of the pagoda would probably have located the pagoda.

“I should head off first and go to Ancient Tong City to wait for QIngxuan!” Su Mo let out a sigh. The longer he waited, the more danger he would be in.

Furthermore, the Empty Sky Sect people would seek revenge and it would be best for him to leave early.

Once he thought of that, Su Mo immediately walked out of the palace.

Right as Su Mo walked out of the palace, a figure flew past and appeared before him.

“Elder Zhen Gu!” Su Mo jumped in surprise. He thought that the owner of the pagoda came to find him already and was relieved to see that it was only Sage-to-be Zhen Gu.

“Su Mo, we have investigated the matter about Bi Qinghan!” Sage-to-be Zhen Gu said.

“Oh? What is the outcome?” Su Mo asked. He had not expected Sage-to-be Zhen Gu to have acted so quickly. The investigation was completed in the few hours since they returned.

“Bi Qinghan and Li Hentian knew each other from young and had been secretly colluding together!” Sage-to-be Zhen Gu replied.

“I see!”

Su Mo exclaimed. No wonder Bi Qinghan would have colluded with the Empty Sky Sect, it was because of his relationship with Li Hentian.

“Then I should be in no wrong right?” Su Mo asked. Since they had investigated everything, he should not be punished.

“You are still in the wrong. Although Bi Qinghan committed a crime, he should have been properly punished by the sect. But you went to kill him directly!” Sage-to-be Zhen Gu shook his head and informed Su Mo.

“That is also a crime?” Su Mo immeidatley frowned. Could he not even take his own personal revenge?

“Su Mo, although you are in the wrong, the sect decided not to punish you. However, you must pay a price for your actions!” Sage-to-be Zhen Gu sighed.

“What price?” Su Mo maintained his frown.

“You previously requested for a Low-Grade Dragon’s Vein as a reward. The sect has decided to cancel that reward!” Sage-to-be Zhen Gu sighed. This was the outcome that was reached after the discussion among the elders in the inner sect. Sage-to-be Zhen Gu could not do anything about it.

“This…!” Su Mo’s face instantly darkened. Just because he killed Bi Qinghan, his Dragon’s Vein reward was cancelled!

A few moments later, Su Mo sighed a deep breath. Since his reward was cancelled, he wouldn’t beg for it anymore. The Low-Grade Dragon’s Vein was valuable but Su Mo wasn’t in need of a resources now.

Furthermore, this was the decision made by the sect and Su Mo could not change it.

“Thank you Elder Zhen Gu!” Su Mo expressed his thanks by politely cupping his fists towards the elder.

“Mm!”

Sage-to-be Zhen Gu lightly accepted the salute and patted Su Mo’s back. In a deep voice, he said, “Su Mo, you are an exceptional talent. Continue to work hard and don’t disappoint me!”

“Elder Zhen Gu, rest assure, I won’t disappoint you!” Su Mo nodded his head heavily with a serious expression.

Sage-to-be Zhen Gu nodded his head, pleased. Then, he casually waved his hand and turned to leave.

Su Mo sighed inwardly before he quickly rushed off the mountain.
