Chapter 1588: Being Disrespectful

There was a great fluctuation in the sky of a wild forest in the Ancient Demons Cemetery and thunderous sounds rumbled through the area.

The purpose of the sounds was to gather all the disciples together and to inform them the location of the tunnel that would lead them out.

It might take some time for the tunnel to open up as there were many disciples in the Ancient Demons Cemetery. Some of them were far away and they would not be able to rush over within a short period of time.

The location of the tunnel was located at the center of the Ancient Demons Cemetery and, basically, those who were alive should be able to rush over within three days.

Air-rending sounds continued to break out all over the place. The disciples who were near the location reached the wild forest before the rest of them and started to wait for the tunnel to open up.

Some of them were full of energy and had a joyful look on their face while some of them looked gloomy. Apparently, they did not have a good harvest.

There were some who were seriously injured and there were bloodstains on their body

As time passed by, more people gathered in the wild forest. In less than half a day, there was already a few hundred people who had gathered together.

All the disciples grouped themselves according to the forces that they belonged to and started to talk amongst themselves. It was a boisterous scene.

“I have heard that Li Hentian from Empty Sky Sect is dead!”

“That’s right! He has been killed by Su Mo, together with more than 20 disciples from Empty Sky Sect!”

“Su Mo is so powerful. His combat strength is mighty!”

“I wonder if Su Mo is still alive. I think he must have been killed by Leng Xie and Pei Jing!”

The disciples from the various big forces kept mentioning Su Mo’s name. Apparently, Su Mo had made a name for himself in the test.

Many of the disciples who were unaware of the situation started to ask about Su Mo’s situation after they heard what the other disciples had said.

When they heard that Su Mo had not only killed Li Hentian and more than 20 disciples from Empty Sky Sect but he had also snatched the Blood Heart Fruit away, they were stunned.

However, no one knew what happened after that. They had no idea if Leng Xie and Pei Jing had killed Su Mo.

There were still many disciples from Empty Sky Sect standing around. When they heard the rest of the disciples talking about Su Mo, their faces darkened and none of them made any comment.

Su Mo was so evil. When they were out of the Ancient Demons Cemetery, they would report to the elders of their sect so that they could punish Su Mo.

However, if Su Mo was already dead, that would be the best scenario.

A lady walked over in the sky toward the wild forest and it was Yun Youyou. She then landed slowly onto the ground.

Many disciples from Sun Moon Tribe went over and crowded around her to greet her.

Some of them who were closer to Yun Youyou started to ask her about her gains and even offered to give her some of their treasures.

Yun Youyou rejected their offers as she did not lack resources. She was there simply to toughen herself up.

Moreover, she had obtained some rare treasures as well.

After she had sent the disciples away, Yun Youyou looked around and said to herself when she did not see Su Mo.

When Leng Xie pursued Su Mo earlier, Yun Youyou followed behind them. However, after following behind for two days, she was unable to catch up with them and she had to give up.

Thus, she had no idea what had happened to Su Mo.

The thunderous sounds continued to rumble in the sky and air-rending sounds continued to break out. As more people flooded in, the wild forest became more packed with people.

After one day, more than 1,000 people had gathered in the wild forest.

Yi Wei, Lu Gang, and the disciples from Path Sect came back one after another.

Many disciples from Path Sect were asking one another about Su Mo, but none of them had any idea what had happened to him.

At that instant, a streamer shot over from the end of the horizon, revealing a burly youth.

It is Pei Jing!

When the people saw Pei Jing, their eyes lit up. Pei Jing should know what had happened to Su Mo. After all, he and Leng Xie had chased after Su Mo to kill him.

“Pei Jing, what happened to Su Mo?” Yun Youyou asked.

Pei Jing was stunned when he heard Yun Youyou’s question. However, he knew that Yun Youyou and Su Mo seemed to share a special relationship thus he quickly came to himself and felt that it was a normal reaction from her.

When the people heard Yun Youyou’s question, they were surprised. How are the Holy Lady and Su Mo related to each other? Why is she so concerned about Su Mo’s safety?

However, the people were also interested in finding out what had happened to Su Mo thus all of them fixed their gaze on Pei Jing and waited for his reply.

“We have lost him!” Pei Jing shook his head helplessly.

When Yun Youyou heard it, she heaved a sigh of relief secretly. It was a piece of good news that Su Mo was still alive.

When the rest of the people heard that Su Mo had escaped from Pei Jing and Leng Xie, they were shocked.

Su Mo must be extremely powerful since he had managed to run away from Leng Xie and Pei Jing. However, his cultivation level was only at Rank 2 Martial Honored Realm!

The streamer was quick like lightning and it soon appeared in the sky above the wild forest. It then turned into a youth in a white robe who had an evil look on his face.

The youth was Leng Xie.

Leng Xie stood in the sky and a cold aura exuded from his body. He looked around quickly and started to frown when he saw that Su Mo was not among the crowd.

After pondering for a while, Leng Xie looked at Yun Youyou and said, “Youyou, when Su Mo is back, I will kill him!”

Leng Xie felt that he should inform Yun Youyou of his intention to prevent her from intervening since he knew that the two of them shared a special relationship.

“Leng Xie, you…!” Yun Youyou raised her brows when she heard what Leng Xie had said. Just as she was about to speak up, Leng Xie interrupted her.

“Youyou, I know that he is your friend. However, I cannot forgive him for what he has done. He has to pay with his life!” Leng Xie said flatly. He had to kill Su Mo even if it meant offending Yun Youyou.

Women were nothing to him. He could have as many women as he wanted and even Yun Youyou meant nothing to him!

Although Yun Youyou’s physique was suitable for one to cultivate through sex with her, it was only beneficial to other men. As Leng Xie possessed the Haze Body, Yun Youyou’s physique would not benefit him at all.

Although Su Mo had snatched away all the Blood Heart Fruit, it was a fair competition. Su Mo was able to take away all the Blood Heart Fruit as he was capable.

When Leng Xie heard Yun Youyou’s question, he sneered and said proudly, “He has to die as he has been disrespectful to me!”

“Leng Xie, don’t forget that you have only been selected to be the successor for the Young Clan Leader’s position. You are not the leader yet!”

Yun Youyou was not afraid of Leng Xie. She looked coldly at Leng Xie and spoke harshly to him. Leng Xie had not only disregarded the fact that the test was supposed to be a fair competition, he had also used his status to oppress Su Mo. That was ridiculous!
