Su Mo’s cultivation was actually not very refined and he was still a far cry from breaking through to the next realm.

This was also a result of him advancing ranks too quickly as he simply did not allocate time to refine his cultivation.

However, despite not being refined, Su Mo’s persistent pushing of his cultivation eventually loosened the bottleneck to the next realm.

Spiritual Qi and Dark Force circulated within him as tons upon tons of Spiritual Crystals were devoured. As though there was an endless supply of Spiritual Crystals, Su Mo seemed indifferent to using such a large number of them.

Ten hours later, the bottleneck to the next realm was completely loosened and Su Mo felt that the Rank 2 Martial Honorable Realm was within his grasp.

Su Mo yelled as he retrieved another 2000 Middle Spiritual Crystals and devoured them in one shot.

Since the bottleneck had been loosened, Su Mo needed to exert his all for a final burst to the next realm. With this final burst of Spiritual Qi, Su Mo would be able to reach the Rank 2 Martial Honorable Realm.

Dense Spiritual Qi entered his body and gave Su Mo a solid pool of Qi to lean on. In the mere span of half an hour, the invisible bottleneck to the next realm finally crumbled.

The moment the bottleneck crumbled, the five Divine Elixirs seemed to have broken free from some kind of shackles as they started to vibrate viciously.

The dense Spiritual Qi in his body was absorbed into the five Divine Elixirs without needing further refining.

A large amount of Spiritual Qi was needed when the Divine Elixirs exploded. Unbelievably, the Spiritual Crystals that Su Mo had devoured were not enough for the Divine Elixirs, as they were wiped clean in the blink of an eye.

“So vicious!” Su Mo was taken aback. Waving his hand, Su Mo took out another 3000 Spiritual Crystals to devour.

The Divine Elixirs rapidly shook and sucked the Spiritual Qi from Su Mo viciously.

This process didn’t last long and in the span of a few breaths, the Divine Elixirs had strengthened by a few times. Slowly, they started to calm down and peace ensued.

By now, the Spiritual Qi that Su Mo had devoured was almost completely emptied. He did not forcefully absorb the remaining Spiritual Qi and left it all outside his body.

“I finally broke through!” Su Mo gripped both his fists as bright light flashed from his arm. As expected, every difference in rank in the Martial Honorable Realm was vastly larger than that in the Martial Emperor Realm. The step between each rank was high and laborious.

Feeling the explosive power in his body, Su Mo’s confidence soared. Even if he met Li Hentian and the Seven-colored Glazed Pagoda again, Su Mo was confident in his ability to battle, and even better, to defeat Li Hentian.

However, Su Mo made a mental note to stabilise his cultivation after this breakthrough to the Rank 2 Martial Honorable Realm.

If he constantly forced his way to the next realm, his foundations would become weak and it would be a challenge to break through to the next realm in the future.

Su Mo was clear on this well-known fact in breaking through cultivation ranks. He could not sacrifice his foundations for the sake of increasing the speed of his breakthroughs.

A few moments later, Su Mo closed his eyes again and begin stabilising his cultivation.

After another ten hours, Su Mo finally stood up and left the Bangle Space.

Su Mo burrowed out of the ground and arrived on the mountain range. There, he stared far into the distance.

“It is very likely that the Ancient Demon’s Heart is within this mountain range!” Su Mo muttered to himself. Ghost Force and Ghost Qi were very dense here and that meant that there was a large Ancient Demon Source somewhere.

After pondering for a while more, Su Mo did not hesitate further before he started searching.

Su Mo stomped down on the ground and flew towards the sky.

As his body flew past several mountain peaks, Su Mo thought to himself that there were Ancient Demon Bodies under every mountain peak.

From the size of the mountain peaks and the layer of Ghost Qi around the mountain, Su Mo could roughly guess the strength of the Ancient Demon Body below it.

Shoosh!

A few moments later, Su Mo landed on the top of a large mountain peak. He did not land there because he guessed that there was an Ancient Demon’s Heart under the mountain. Instead, he had landed for the two Demon Flowers on the mountain peak.

Su Mo lightly plucked the two Demon Flowers and put them in his storage ring.

“I wonder what is below this mountain peak?” Standing on the mountain, Su Mo mumbled to himself. Then, Su Mo retrieved his Stone Sword and struck down on the mountain.

Kaboom!

A loud explosion sounded as the mountain shook violently.

However, the mountain was not split from the sword strike. It maintained its serene and peaceful demeanour.

Su Mo struck again continuously with his sword ten times. Yet, the mountain was still not split apart.

“There must be a strong array protecting it!” Su Mo’s face turned serious. A typical mountain wouldn’t be this strong even if there was a layer of Ghost Qi protecting it.

Su Mo could deduce that this was the work of the Sun Moon Tribe.

The Ancient Demons Cemetery was an old territory. Batches and batches of disciples of the Sun Moon Tribe and the seven superpowers had come for the test trial. If there wasn’t an array protecting the mountains, the Ancient Demons Cemetery would have been in ruins.

After pondering for a while, Su Mo gave up on breaking apart the mountain. The likelihood of the Ancient Demon’s Heart being in this mountain was low and he wouldn’t waste time here.

According the Saint Zhen Xian, the Ancient Demon’s Heart was the strongest form of existence among all Ancient Demon’s bodies. The location of the Ancient Demon’s Heart would hence naturally be a sight.

Then, Su Mo’s body flashed and he continued to fly by the mountain range to try and locate the Ancient Demon’s Heart .

Su Mo was flying boldly around. He wasn’t afraid of meeting Li Hentian due to the increase in his cultivation rank.

Su Mo flew at lightning speed along the mountain range. Occasionally, he would spot a Demon Flower and he would swoop down and pluck them.

Half an hour later, Su Mo had gathered a total of five Demon Flowers.

This mountain range wasn’t incredibly big and there was no sign of the end of it. Even after half an hour, Su Mo had only covered a tiny portion of the mountain range.

At that point, Su Mo spotted a group of martial artists flying towards him. There were around 7 to 8 people in the group.

“Empty Sky Sect members!”

Su Mo’s eyes narrowed. This group of people were the ones who had followed behind Li Hentian previously.

“It is Su Mo!”

The moment Su Mo spotted the group, several martial artists also recognized Su Mo’s identity as their eyes brimmed with surprise.

They were acting on the orders of Li Hentian to find Su Mo. After 20 hours, they had finally found Su Mo.

“Quickly, inform Brother Li!” A young man instructed the others in the group.

The group of men flew towards Su Mo as they passed a message to Li Hentian.

“Block him!”

The young man shouted and led the other 7 people to surround Su Mo.

They knew how strong Su Mo was and they did not intend to try to defeat Su Mo. They just needed to stall him for a while.

Li Hentian was not far from where they were and the group only needed to stall Su Mo for around 10 breaths of time before Li Hentian would arrive.

“Die!”

The eight Empty Sky Sect disciples dashed forward as auras soared out of their bodies and killing intent flashed in their eyes.

Before they had even closed down on Su Mo, they began to attack.

In an instant, violent Dark Force surged through and filled the air as various attacks targeted at Su Mo flashed out.

“You guys asked for your own deaths, don’t blame me!”

Su Mo muttered to himself as his eyes flashed with malice. Like a volcano about to erupt, he readied himself for a fight.
