Chapter 1544: Strange!

Su Mo traveled at a fast speed and flew toward the peak of the mountain.

After flying for a few hundred miles, he suddenly stopped.

He noticed that many people were on the peak of the mountain.

“What are these people doing?”

Su Mo was puzzled. There were around 30 people on the peak of the mountain and they looked as though they were lost and moving around aimlessly.

Some of them were going around in circles on the same spot and some of them were walking round and round the mountain.

Su Mo became curious. What are these people trying to do? Are they in a right state of mind?

No. Something is not right with the mountain! Su Mo’s face turned grave. He did not think that the people were out of their minds. Something must be not right with the mountain.

Su Mo then continued flying toward the mountain and soon, he was above it.

No one seemed to notice Su Mo and they continued moving around.

There were a few top powers among them. Tian Lang from Roaring Sky Wolf Tribe and a Rank 4 Martial Honored Realm disciple from Sun Moon Tribe were there as well.

Before Su Mo had entered the Ancient Demons Cemetery, he had taken note of those Rank 4 Martial Honored Realm martial artists as he knew that those people would be his opponents.

What is going on? Su Mo looked around the mountain and found nothing amiss.

The mountain was black in color and, other than that, it looked normal. However, the people who were on the peak of the mountain looked abnormal.

There are so many Demon Flowers! Su Mo’s eyes lit up after he looked around the mountain. He noticed that there were at least five Demon Flowers.

Those Demon Flowers were bigger than those that he had obtained earlier.

Su Mo was excited. If he could get his hands on those Demon Flowers, he would not have to worry about his resources for a period of time.

One Demon Flower was equivalent to a large amount of Spiritual Crystals.

Swoosh!

Without any hesitation, Su Mo stretched out his hand toward the Demon Flower that was nearest to him and tried to pluck it.

He activated his Dark Force Palm and moved toward the Demon Flower at a fast speed.

A shocking scene then took place. When the Dark Force Palm was about to get near the Demon Flower, the Dark Force Palm disappeared all of a sudden.

What has happened? Su Mo was shocked when he saw that. The Dark Force Palm which he had formed had disappeared out of a sudden. Something is not right with the mountain!

As Su Mo was feeling baffled, air-rending sounds were heard in the area. A youth with a long face and sharp nose flew toward him from afar.

After a short while, the youth appeared above the mountain and he stopped near Su Mo.

The youth glanced at Su Mo and lowered his head to look at the situation on the mountain. His eyes lit up when he saw the Demon Flower but, at the same time, he noticed that the mountain seemed strange.

“Su Mo, I am Lei Yunqing from Thundercloud Birds Tribe. Do you know what is wrong with the mountain?” The youth by the name of Lei Yunqing asked as he cupped his fist at Su Mo.

“I have no idea!” Su Mo shook his head. If he knew that, he would not be stuck there, not knowing what to do.

“It seems strange that these people look like they are in a daze. They do not know what they are doing!” Lei Yunqing said and knitted his brows.

Su Mo nodded when he heard what Lei Yunqing had said. It was indeed so. Those people seemed to have been blinded by some kind of power which had made them behave in such a manner.

As the two of them were feeling baffled, one of the top powers on the mountain peak came to a Demon Flower and stretched out his hand to pluck it.

“Oh no!” When Su Mo and Lei Yunqing saw, they were alarmed. One of the Demon Flowers had been plucked.

The one who had plucked the Demon Flower was Tian Lang from Roaring Sky Wolf Tribe.

Swoosh!

Lei Yunqing did not want to go on waiting. In a flash, he flew toward another Demon Flower.

In an instant, Lei Yunqing landed beside a black Demon Flower on the mountain peak.

However, Su Mo was surprised to see that Lei Yunqing started to walk away from the Demon Flower in the opposite direction and he did not pluck the Demon Flower. He then started to go around in circles.

“This is strange!” Su Mo muttered to himself. It was fortunate that Su Mo was not as impatient as Lei Yunqing, or he might end up like Lei Yunqing and not be able to get the Demon Flower.

Su Mo then used his spiritual senses and looked around. He started to check out the entire mountain carefully.

From his senses, he felt that the mountain was normal and there was nothing strange about it.

However, the only difference was that there was a powerful Ghost Force fluctuation in the mountain and its power way surpassed that of the Demon Flower.

After checking around for a long while, Su Mo could not see anything amiss and he started to get impatient.

If he delayed, the Demon Flowers would get into the hands of the rest of the people.

After pondering for a while, a sword radiance flashed in his hand and the Stone Sword appeared. He slashed hard with the Stone Sword.

Swoosh!

Suddenly, a sharp Sword Qi came down from the heavens like a streamer and hit straight at the mountain.

Su Mo did not attack recklessly as there were many people around. His Sword Qi had hit a place where there was no one around.

Boom!

The Sword Qi hit the mountain and there was an explosion. The Sword Qi burst into pieces and rained down sword rays. They shot out in all directions and pierced through the firmament.

After the mountain had been hit by the Sword Qi, it shook abruptly and went back to normal again. The mountain remained intact and the people on the mountain did not seem to notice the attack that Su Mo had thrown out.

There must be an array surrounding the mountain! Su Mo’s face turned gloomy as he knew nothing about arrays.

From what he had observed, even if he had used all his might, he would not have been able to break through the array.

Su Mo’s face became grave. Since there is an array in the mountain and there are black Demon Flowers around, the remains of the Ancient Demons must be in the mountain as well. The remains of the Ancient Demons must be extremely powerful and there is even a possibility that the Ancient Demon’s heart is present. However, if the Ancient Demon’s heart is there, how can he get his hands on it?

Moreover, even if the Ancient Demon’s heart is not in the mountain, there must be a powerful array at where it is located. Su Mo felt at a loss!

After pondering for a long while, he still did not have any idea of what he should do.

Initially, he was confident of obtaining the Ancient Demon’s heart as he felt that it would not be tough. However, he was stuck at the moment.

I can’t worry any more. Even if this mountain is strange, I have to give it a try! Su Mo gritted his teeth. He could not sit around doing nothing. He had to experience it for himself in order to find a way out.

Moreover, there would probably not be any danger on the mountain and it would not trap a person for long. Otherwise, Sun Moon Tribe would not have come up with such a test.

As Su Mo thought of it, he landed on the mountain in a flash. He landed on the spot where a black Demon Flower was located.

Just as Su Mo was about to land on the mountain, an air-rending sound broke out from the sky from far off, and a powerful figure flew over.
