Chapter 1496: Void Wrecking Golden Arrows
There was quite a number of people who recognised Su Mo’s sword array as the Ten Direction Natal Spiritual Sword Snake Array which many other Imperial Sword Faction disciples could also use.
However, the Ten Direction Natal Spiritual Sword Snake Array of the Imperial Sword Faction was not very strong and it couldn’t possibly compare to Su Mo’s Spiritual Sword Array.
Lyu Gang and the True Path Sect disciples had their eyes wide-open in surprise at Su Mo’s strength.
“Lyu Gang, how could Su Mo be this strong?” The Rank 1 Martial Honorable disciple who was dressed in a silver outfit gaped with a face full of disbelief.
He knew that Lyu Gang had attended the fight meet and had seen Su Mo’s strength there and hence he posed the question to Lyu Gang.
“I don’t know!” Lyu Gang shook his head hard. Although Lyu Gang knew that Su Mo’s powers were exceptional, he had no idea that Su Mo’s strength would reach such a terrifying stage just from breaking through to another realm.
To be able to fight on par with the pro-disciple of the Empty Sky Sect while only being a Rank 9 Martial Emperor was like a fantasy story!
Up in the air, Wu Ren temporarily stopped attacking as his face fell. He could see clearly what Su Mo’s strength was after a few hits.
It seems like ordinary attacks wouldn’t be able to defeat Su Mo, he had to use his ultimate attack.
Su Mo’s face was also dark. Against a martial artist who used a bow for his weapon, a long-distance fight for him would be disadvantageous.
Even if he had the Natal Spiritual Sword Snake Array, it would be hard to defeat Wu Ren.
Wizz!
Right at that moment, Wu Ren’s hands glowed brightly and three black-colored arrows appeared.
These three black-colored arrows were very slim and short. They were as thin as chopsticks and were only three feet long individually.
As the twenty Empty Sky Sect disciples saw this, their hearts started to beat faster in anticipation. They knew that Wu Ren was about to use his true fighting strength.

This black-colored arrow was Wu Ren’s ultimate weapon. Wu Ren had gained the status of a pro-disciple of the sect from these arrows.
The bow was stretched again as Wu Ren took aim at Su Mo with the three jet-black arrows. Just as he was about to release the arrows, he suddenly jumped in surprise.
This was because Su Mo and the surrounding Natal Spiritual Swords around him had suddenly disappeared.
“Su Mo used the invisible technique again!”
“In the fight meet at Sun Moon Tribe previously, he had also used this invisible technique to sweep through his challenges!”
“I wonder if this invisible technique can be dispelled by Wu Ren?”
Among the crowd of onlookers, those who attended the fight meet exclaimed with surprise. They knew how strong this invisible technique was.
Wu Ren furrowed his brows as he used his spiritual senses and mental strength to survey his surroundings.
He quickly found out where Su Mo was. However, he could sense that Su Mo was like a ghost, rapidly moving around.
The speed of Su Mo was so fast, it was hard for Wu Ren to keep up with it.
Wu Ren maintained his grip on the arrows and remained focused as he prepared his attack.
Time passed by slowly and Wu Ren could sense that Su Mo was slowly closing down on him.
Of course, Su Mo was only slowly closing the distance between them, but Su Mo’s speed was still very fast as he seemed to be flickering through the sky.
“Go!’
Suddenly, Wu Ren whipped around and let the arrows on the bow go.
Woosh woosh woosh!
Three ear-piercing sounds shot through the air as the three slim arrows flew out of the bow at a speed so fast it was hard to discern the arrows in the sky with eyes alone.
These arrows were even faster than the previous arrows.
Since only the sounds of the arrows flew through the sky, they could be heard but there was no way to pinpoint the exact location of the arrows. Typical Martial Honorables could only see a faint black line whipping through the air in a flash.

In the skies, Su Mo readied himself, armed with his Natal Spiritual Swords. The incoming attack of the black arrows caused him to start sweating buckets. These three black arrowed rushed towards him and a dangerous aura filled his heart.
Among the three arrows, only one arrow was targeted right at him. the other two arrows were used to seal his front and back escape routes.
Regardless of which direction Su Mo was planning to dodge and avoid the attack, he had to defend himself against one of the arrows.
“Destroy!”
Su Mo stopped himself temporarily as the stone sword in his hand exploded with a dazzling Sword radiance that shone throughout the nine heavens.
Shoosh!
Blinding Sword Radiance lit up the sky and, with a heaven-shaking force, the stone sword was swung towards the arrows.
Su Mo had used all his strength for this one strike. The five divine elixirs in his body shook violently as he activated 15 Sword Fighting Souls.
Not only that, Su Mo’s body glowed brilliantly as he seemed to harden into steel, giving off a strong aura.
Boom!
A deafening explosion followed and a blinding light burst in the air.
The stone sword hit precisely on a black arrow. Like two meteors striking each other, a destructive explosion blew through the air like a nuclear bomb.
Boom boom boom!!
The force of the impact between the bow and the stone sword was like the violent and unpredictable seas whose waves swept out in all directions. Everywhere seemed to have exploded into bits and even the entrance to the Demon Domain was crushed and pushed back a few hundred meters down.
Everyone watching the fight was also pushed backward around 200 meters back by the collision.
Woosh!
Of the three arrows, two flew right past Su Mo sides while the middle arrow was knocked out of its path by Su Mo’s stone sword, flying right to the nine heavens.
Su Mo had also suffered a devastating force from the explosion and he was forced back a full kilometer before he finally stopped.
Massive forces once again caused the lifeblood in him to surge uncontrollably as his hands went numb.
“What a strong arrow!” Su Mo’s face turned as dark as night as his heart jumped in shock. Wu Ren was much stronger than Tai Changshan and Su Mo found it hard to discern his true strength.
However, Wu Ren was far more startled than Su Mo and he felt as though he was in a perilous situation.
Previously, he had used his Dark Force to form arrows that weren’t able to defeat Su Mo. Yet, even when he used the black colored bow, he was still not able to defeat Su Mo!
The black arrow was called the ‘Void Wrecking Golden Arrows’. It was no ordinary weapon but a top upper honorable weapon that was so strong it was close to being called a Sacred Weapon.
That was because these three Void Wrecking Golden Arrows were made from sacred class materials.
A year ago, Wu Ren had obtained a sacred short sabre weapon and he had paid for an expert craftsman to remould the short sabre into these Void Wrecking Golden Arrows.
These three Void Wrecking Golden Arrows were Wu Ren’s pride and joy and his major source of confidence. He had not imagined that such a strong weapon would only manage to force Su Mo backwards, without harming him.
“How could that be?” Wu Ren’s face darkened as his heart filled with disbelief. How could a mere Rank 9 Martial Emperor be so strong? Was this a dream?
However, regardless of how incredulous the situation seemed to be and how unwilling Wu Ren was to believe it, they were the facts and he had to accept them.
The twenty Empty Sky Sect disciples were also full of shock as their eyes bulged wide-open, taking in the sights before them. Wu Ren had used the Void Wrecking Golden Arrow but was still not able to defeat Su Mo.
This Su Mo was really so strong!
