Su Mo asked curiously after he had shut the door and showed the fat guy to a seat.

“Brother Shangguan, let me introduce myself. My name is Heng Fei!” The fat guy said, smiling.

“Hi!” Su Mo said and nodded.

“Hehe!”

Heng Fei laughed and said, “Brother Shangguan, I am here to tell you that if you wish to stay on in squad 29, you will have to be mentally prepared!”

“What do you mean?” Su Mo asked, looking baffled.

“Are you not recommended by the Eighth Prince? Our squad leader and squadron leader are the Third Prince’s men!” Heng Fei said softly.

“Oh?” Su Mo smiled when he heard that. He then cupped his fist at the fat guy and said, “Thank you for telling me!”

“Are you not worried?” Heng Fei looked at Su Mo, with his eyes glittering.

“Why should I be worried?” Su Mo asked.

“They will torture you. They did so previously to two of the First Prince’s men!” Heng Fei said.

“Thank you for warning me, Brother Heng. May I know why you are doing this for me?” Su Mo asked flatly and looked unaffected.

“This…hehehe, I just hope to have one more friend!” Heng Fei laughed and replied.

Su Mo squinted his eyes and looked at the fat guy. He felt that the fat guy was not all that he seemed, but he was unable to pinpoint what was going on below the surface.

The fat guy was also at Rank 8 Martial Emperor Realm.

“Is that so? Thank you for being my friend!” Su Mo said with a smile.
