Chapter 1424: Make The Guy Suffer

Su Mo waited at the Emerald Residence for three days before Gu Tianyi came to him again.

Su Mo and Gu Tianyi sat opposite each other at the palace.

“Brother Shangguan, I have made the necessary arrangements. You can go over to Red Dragon Camp now!” Gu Tianyi said with a smile.

“All right. I will go right away!” Su Mo said.

“Brother Shangguan, please wait a while!”

Gu Tianyi waved his hand and said, “Let me tell you the situation of Red Dragon Camp so that it is easier for you to get things done when you are there!”

“Sure. Please go ahead!” Su Mo nodded.

“Red Dragon Camp is a special place. All the soldiers are geniuses from various locations and the competition is fierce. I hope that Brother Shangguan will perform well and aim for a higher position after you get into Red Dragon Camp!” Gu Tianyi said.

“A higher position?” Su Mo looked baffled after he heard that. How is he supposed to get a higher position if he has just joined the camp?

“That’s right. There are 3,000 soldiers in Red Dragon Camp and they are divided into three big teams, 30 squadrons, and 300 squads. With your strength, you will have no problem getting the position of a squad leader for a start!” Gu Tianyi said.

“How do I do it?” Su Mo asked.

“Challenge!”

Gu Tianyi smiled and continued, saying, “After you have joined a squad, defeat the squad leader and take over his position.”

“Got it!” Su Mo nodded. One assumed a position through their strength.

“One more thing. Some of the soldiers are under my eldest brother and third brother and they know that you are my man. They will definitely make things difficult for you, so you had better be prepared for it!” Gu Tianyi said.

“All right!” Su Mo nodded and he felt helpless. The position that Gu Tianyi had arranged for him did not seem safe.

He wanted Su Mo to get into the lion’s den and open the way for him!

“Great. You can go to Red Dragon Camp now!”

Gu Tianyi then took out a Jade Slip and handed it over to Su Mo and said, “This is the Entry Permit. Red Dragon Camp is located on the western side of the city!”

“Are you not coming with me?” Su Mo asked in amazement as he took over the Jade Slip.

“No. I have to go back to Shenwu Academy now. I will bring your two friends over later!” Gu Tianyi said.

“Sure!” Su Mo nodded. He did not say another word and bid Gu Tianyi farewell.

Gu Tianyi sent a servant to show Su Mo the way and after a while, Su Mo was out of the palace.

After Su Mo had left the palace, he traversed around 300 meters in one leap and headed towards the west.

Red Dragon Camp was a military camp located in the western part of Saint Royal City and it covered a 32 kilometer radius.

Towering walls surrounded Red Dragon Camp and it looked like a small city.

Two huge red stone carvings were placed at the main gate of Red Dragon Camp.

They were two ferocious-looking Divine Dragons and they looked as though they were alive.

The two stone carvings gave the main gate an overbearing aura that discouraged anyone from going near it.

Two young guards in red armor were standing at the main gate. They looked cold and they had a strong aura.

Step! Step! Step!

Footstep sounds were heard and a figure came from afar and was soon at the main gate of Red Dragon Camp.

“Stop where you are. This is Red Dragon Camp and no one is allowed to come near it!” The two guards shouted and they were before the figure in no time.

Swoosh!

Suddenly, the figure stopped moving and stood before the main gate.

He was none other than Su Mo.

Su Mo lifted up his head and looked at Red Dragon Camp and the two huge red dragon stone carvings. He was surprised to see that Red Dragon Camp was impressive.

He then flipped his hand over and took out the Jade Slip and said, “I am here to join Red Dragon Camp. This is my Entry Permit!”

Having said that, he threw the Jade Slip towards one of the guards.

“Join Red Dragon Camp?”

The guard took over the Jade Slip and after checking it, he nodded and said, “Wait here while I pass the message on for you!”

The young guard then turned around and walked into Red Dragon Camp.

“Thank you!” Su Mo cupped his fist and waited patiently.

He was shocked but at the same time impressed to see that the two guards had a cultivation level of Rank 7 Martial Emperor Realm.

This Red Dragon Camp was indeed extraordinary.

After around 10 minutes, the guard came back.

“Follow me!” The guard shouted to Su Mo.

Su Mo then followed the guard and entered Red Dragon Camp.

When Su Mo stepped into Red Dragon Camp, he saw a large drill ground. A tall Call-officers-roll Platform was situated at the side and a huge flag with red dragon embroidery was placed on the Platform.

The buildings in Red Dragon Camp were simple. They were ancient stone halls. There was a big stretch of halls and other than their size, they looked similar.

After a while, Su Mo came to a larger stone hall.

The gate of the hall opened up and there was a foyer in it. A good-looking youth in red armor was sitting on the main seat.

Two youths were sitting on either side of the good-looking youth and they were in red armor as well. One of them was muscular and the other was tall and skinny.

Among the three of them, other than the good-looking youth who was at the Martial Honored Realm, the other two were at Rank 9 Martial Emperor Realm.

“Squadron Leader Bing, I have brought the guy over!” The guard who had led the way said as he cupped his fist at the good-looking youth.

“Come in!” The good-looking youth looked at Su Mo and then waved his hand at the guard.

The guard turned around and left, and Su Mo walked into the hall. When Su Mo saw the good-looking youth on the main seat, he started to furrow his brows as he recognized him. He was Zhu Ying, who used to be with Black Mountain Fort.

Back then, Zhu Ying had refused to let the disciples of Shenwu Academy enter Black Mountain Fort and he had made them guard Huanshan Mine.

After Su Mo had stolen Huanshan Mine, Zhu Ying rushed over. He was furious and wanted to do an investigation on all of them.

To avoid being investigated, Su Mo had argued with Zhu Ying and enraged him.

Su Mo was shocked to see Zhu Ying at Red Dragon Camp and he immediately withdrew his aura. Although Zhu Ying did not recognize him, they had met before. Though he had changed his look, he could still be easily discovered by Zhu Ying.

Su Mo had to be careful. Zhu Ying was the Third Prince’s men. If he discovered Su Mo’s identity, Su Mo would be in great trouble.

“Are you Shangguan Hao, recommended by the Eighth Prince?” Zhu Ying asked and sized Su Mo up after he went into the hall.

“Yes!” Su Mo replied and nodded.

“Were you a disciple of Shenwu Academy?”

Zhu Ying continued to ask and he found Su Mo familiar. He threw this question at Su Mo as Gu Tianyi was the Holy Son of Shenwu Academy and he usually recommended the disciples from the Academy.

“No!” Su Mo immediately denied it and shook his head.

“All right! Your cultivation level is at Rank 8 Martial Emperor Rank. Not bad!”

Zhu Ying nodded and immediately looked at the two youths sitting at his sides and asked, “Both of you are lacking one man. Who wants to take Shangguan Hao?”

When the two youths heard that, they sized Su Mo up and the tall and skinny youth immediately stood up and said with a smile, “Squadron Leader, please let him join squad 29!”

“All right, Lai Yu, he shall join your squad then!” Zhu Ying immediately gave his consent.

“Yes!” The tall and skinny youth by the name of Lai Yu nodded. He then turned to Su Mo and said, “Shangguan Hao, follow me to squad 29!”

Having said that, Lai Yu walked out of the hall with Su Mo following closely behind.

When Zhu Ying saw that Su Mo had left, he curled his lips into a derisive smile.

“The Eighth Prince wants to get his man into Red Dragon Camp. He is truly naïve!” Zhu Ying muttered. He would never allow the Eighth Prince’s man to stay in Red Dragon Camp!

“Squadron Leader, don’t worry. Lai Yu will make the guy suffer!” The muscular youth said with a smile.

“Definitely!” Zhu Ying smiled when he heard what the muscular youth had said. He knew what Lai Yu was capable of doing.
