Chapter 1368: Torture Of The Soul

Once Su Mo left Grandmaster Huo Yuan’s palace, he returned to his cave.

With the grandmaster’s advice, he was somewhat more relaxed and could prepared to cultivate.

In the cave, Su Mo retrieved the 5 Martial Skills that he had bought at the auction and carefully went through them in detail.

These 5 Martial Skills were respectively, ’10 Directions Slash Skill’, ‘Endless Growth Skill’, ‘Narcissus’ Record’, ‘3000 Raging Fire Skill’, ‘Earth Treasury Divine Skill’.

These five skills were gold, wood, water, fire and earth based skills. It was perfect to replace his five Imperial Skills.

Su Mo first began with the water based Narcissus’s Record. Since he wasn’t sure whether the Grand Chaos Five Elements Skill would be able to merge the five Imperial Skills, he started with the water based skill.

The other four element skills, wood and fire, earth and gold, could all merge with each other. Only the water element skill could not merge with any other element. If he cultivated any of the four other elements now, it would affect his overall power.

Hence, only cultivating the water based skill first would not affect his power too much. Even if it did affect his power, it would only be to increase it and not decrease it.

A Middle Honourable Martial Skill was very brilliant. Su Mo closed his eyes and looked through the details of it for a full 3 days before he finally had a rough understanding of it.

Then, he started to cultivate the ‘Narcissus’ Record’.

There were 5 ranks for the Narcissus’ Record and he began cultivating from the first rank. As he activated the skill, the Dark Force within him circulated.

The water-based Dark Force in this churned and slowly became more dense and strong. This process was very slow and days passed on.

Approximately 8 days later ,the Dark Force within Su Mo’s body was almost ready.

Of course, this did not mean that he had achieved the first rank of the Narcissus’ Record. He had just finished preparing the Dark Force for the skill and could be considered one step further towards mastering the skill.

“Looks like there is nothing wrong?” Su Mo’s eyes shone brightly. After he finished the circulation of the Dark Force in him, the 5 types of Dark Force in him did not seem to have been agitated and were very calm.

Then, he carefully activated the Grand Chaos Five Elements Skill. The Five Elements Skill instantly rolled up and churned. Like clouds moving in the sky and water flowing through the rivers, it was very smooth.

If that was the case, he would not even need to cultivate the Heaven Combining Ghost Skill. If the Grand Chaos Five Elements Skill could merge with the 5 Medium Honourable Skills, its power would be very terrifying.

Then, Su Mo did not think further and calmly cultivated the Narcissus’ Skill.

Just like that, he calmly cultivated for another 2 days when suddenly, Ren Yun Du’s voice rang from outside his cave. “Brother Su!”

Su Mo opened his eyes and used his willpower to confirm that Ren Yun Du was currently hovering in mid-air at Huo Yuan Peak.

“Brother Ren, please come in!” Su Mo walked outside and invited him in.

Ren Yun Du did not hesitate and immediately flew down and walked into the immortal’s cave with Su Mo.

“Congratulations, Brother Su!”

They walked into the cave and sat at the stone table before Ren Yun Du congratulated Su Mo with all smiles.

“Brother Ren, what are you talking about?” Su Mo was bewildered as he did not know why Ren Yun Du was congratulating him.

“Ke ke, Brother Su, the news of you being the first on the True Sage board has spread through the entire Star Guzhou. Literally everyone knows about it and your name could practically shake the entire Ancientspirit Galaxy – isn’t that worth congratulating?” Ren Yu Du laughed.

Su Mo was speechless. If it wasn’t for this True Sage Board, he wouldn’t be so passive!

“Brother Ren, this True Sage Board is getting me into dangerous waters!” Su Mo sighed.

“That’s true. There are many geniuses gathered outside the academy who want to challenge you!”

Ren Yun Du understood where Su Mo was coming from and he nodded his head. Su Mo’s cultivation was not high now but he was ranked first on the True Sage Board. This definitely placed him in dangerous waters.

“There is such a thing?” Su Mo was surprised – many people outside the academy wanted to challenge him?

“Yes! They all want to challenge you! However, they are not allowed to enter the academy. You have been hiding in this immortal’s cave so of course you wouldn’t know!” Ren Yun Du informed him.

“Mmph, I don’t have to bother about those people!” Su Mo shook his head carelessly. He was in no mood to challenge them.

“Brother Su, I came today under the orders of the Holy Son, I need to discuss something with you!” Ren Yun Du’s face turned serious as he spoke in a low voice.

“Do you know what happened to your two friends?” Ren Yun Du asked.

“Two friends?”

Su Mo jumped with realization, “you mean Nie Qian and Han Ying?”

“Mmph! It seems that you don’t know yet, the two of them have been dragged to the Law Enforcement Hall!” Ren Yun Du said.

“What? What happened?” Upon hearing his words, Su Mo’s face turned instantly and he stood up and asked.

Nie Qian and Han Ying have been dragged to the Law Enforcement Hall?

How could this be?

No wonder the two of them were not around and dust had piled up in the immortal’s cave!

Ren Yun Du sighed a deep breath and continued, “You Tian Han said that Nie Qian and Han Ying killed Zhao Cheng and Guo Jian Qing. The Law Enforcement Hall imprisoned them in the Torture Room!”

“Damn it!” Su Mo was enraged. He was clearly the one who killed Zhao Cheng and Guo Jian Qing but You Tian Han had actually pushed the blame onto Nie Qian and Han Ying.

This was clearly him exacting his revenge.

The Taishi Family could not confront him directly and they had used such despicable means on his friends.

“Brother Su, you don’t have to worry, they are only being imprisoned in there for 5 years!” Ren Yun Du assured him.

“What is the Torture Room like?” Su Mo asked.

“The Torture Room is where the academy punishes disciples. They will suffer from the Torture of the Soul where every living minute is like hell!” Ren Yun Du answered.

Su Mo’s face immediately turned dark as a murderous intent filled his heart. This punishment was too severe!

Although there was no threat to their lives, 5 years of torturing their soul could drive them mad.

“Su Mo, don’t be rash first. Wait for the Holy Son to come back and we will discuss this matter!” Ren Yun Du warned him. He was afraid Su Mo would go directly to You Tian Han to seek his revenge.

“When will the Holy Son be back?” Su Mo’s face was ugly as he asked this. This You Tian Han was just seeking his own death. Was the Taishi Family really going to fight with him?

“The Holy Son has something to settle, he will be back in a few days!” Ren Yun Du said.

After a few moments of silence, Su Mo sighed heavily and suppressed the murderous intent in his heart before he nodded his head, “alright, I will wait a few days for the Holy Son to return!”

He wasn’t rash. Nie Qian and Han ying had been imprisoned but he couldn’t possibly murder the entire Law Enforcement Hall!

His current circumstances were bad. The Sorcerer Tribe was out to kill him outside and the Taishi Family was trying to seek revenge inside. He could only wait for Gu Tian Yi to return.
