Chapter 1332: The Lightning Sword

“You shall die now!” Lei Can shouted as he shot up into the sky. Lightning shimmered on his body and thundered around him. A huge Lightning Sword appeared in his hand as the horrifying thunder oppressed the area.

Lei Can looked like a deity. He held the Sword with both hands and slashed down hard. Suddenly, a long stretch of horrifying Sword Qi came down from the sky and struck down. The Sword Qi was, in fact, a lightning bolt. It contained the explosive power of the skies and it was quick. The power was great and, in the twinkle of an eye, it tore the sky apart and slashed toward Su Mo’s head.

The Sword Qi was like a Lightning Punishment. It contained the abstrusity of a thunderbolt and the Mandate of Heaven; its power was invincible.

There were many different properties in the world. Other than the five basic properties, which included wind, lightning, light, darkness, yin, and yang, there were still many other types of properties.The lightning had the most powerful offensive force among all of these. Power and toughness were the attributes of lightning, and it also restrained evil. Most importantly, the thunderbolt drew its power because it contained the Mandate of Heaven.

The thunderbolt truly was the Lightning Punishment and it was the weapon of the heavens.

“His power has way surpassed the martial artists of the same level, but … It is still too weak!” Su Mo lifted his head to look at the lightning and shook his head. Sword radiance flashed in his hand and he lifted his sword to counter the blow. For this attack, Su Mo had activated five types of Sword Fighting Spirits.

In an instant, the power of the sword shot upwards and tore the sky apart. The dazzling three-colored Sword Qi was sharp and quicker than lightning, and it went head-on with the lightning that was coming down toward it.

The explosion shook the Fighting World. Everyone looked on in amazement as the lightning was ripped apart as though it was made of paper. After the sharp three-colored Sword Qi slashed at the lightning, it continued to press on at its current speed. It was covered with immense killing intent and slashed straight toward Lei Can’s body.

“What?” as Lei Can saw it, he was frightened out of his wits. Its speed was so quick and powerful. As the Sword Qi targeted at him, Lei Can sensed that his body was about to be torn apart and his soul about to leave his body. He was feeling remorseful. He had not expected Su Mo to be so powerful!

However, this was not the time for regrets.

The attack came so fast that Lei Can did not have time to shun away from it. He quickly held the Lightning Sword before him in an attempt to fend off the three-colored Sword Qi.

The three-colored Sword Qi slashed hard at the Lightning Sword and, at the sound of the explosion, Lei Can’s body shook violently. The blow hit the Lightning Sword and was so powerful that it sent the Lightning Sword flying. Following after that, the powerful three-colored Sword Qi slashed into Lei Can’s body.

Lei Can cried out as the powerful Sword Qi tore his body apart. Blood spurted out from his body as bits and pieces of his flesh flew about. Lei Can’s body and his Fighting Soul had been torn to pieces by the sharp Sword Qi. There was no chance for him to escape.

The entire Fighting World fell into a dead silence. Everyone lifted their heads to look at the scene in amazement. The scene whereby the three-colored Sword Qi tore Lei Can’s body apart stayed in the mind of all the people.

Lord Taishi, the Holy Son, had given the task to him. He thought it could be easily accomplished, but he had not only failed to accomplish his task, he had created a mess out of it. Moreover, the death of every single genius was a great loss to the Taishi family.

Su Mo stood still on the surface of the water and grabbed at the air. Lei Can’s Lightning Sword and storage ring then flew toward his hand. The Lightning Sword was a Sovereign Level Lower Weapon and it was extraordinary. Su Mo did not take a closer look at the Lightning Sword and the storage ring, but simply stored them.

He then looked around the islands and finally fixed his gaze on You Tianhan.

“Is there anyone else from your Taishi Family Faction who wishes to challenge me?” Su Mo asked flatly as a killing gaze flashed across his eyes.

Way back when, Zhao Cheng and Guo Jianqing were once after Su Mo, as they had acted under the instructions of Taishi Xuan and probably You Tianhan as well. However, You Tianhan’s cultivation was at the Peak of Rank 9 Martial Emperor Realm and Su Mo was currently no match for him. If it was not so, Su Mo would not have let him off. When the people heard what Su Mo had said, they quietened down. All of them looked at You Tianhan and were eager to know how he would respond to Su Mo.

The Taishi Family Faction would not take this lying down. They would definitely retaliate. You Tianhan’s face turned pale and he looked at Su Mo with disdain. He then squinted his eyes.
