Chapter 1328: Joining the Faction

After Su Mo left the Fighting World, he returned to Huo Yuan Peak, his body landing in front of his own dwelling. He looked up at the top of the Mountain Peak, at the palace where Grand Master Huoyuan resided, muttering to himself. He had been away for so long, now that he was back, did he have to go and see the Grand Master?

However, after muttering more to himself, he shook his head and abandoned the idea. In the past, he had rejected Grand Master Huoyuan. The other party would be displeased with him. Although he resided at Huoyuan Peak, he did not mention anything about taking Su Mo in as a disciple, nor did he mention anything about teaching the art of refining. Su Mo was left hanging.

Since that was the case, there was no need for Su Mo to go and see him. It was good this way. He resided at Huoyuan Peak, and was still able to borrow the other party’s tiger skin, but not to the point where he would be insulted by others.

Even though it was a long spear, not a long sword which would be more suitable for his use, it was still very valuable. During the period when Su Mo was in Heavenly Underworld Star, he had killed countless of Sorcerer Tribesmen. However, he did not manage to attain Honourable Weapons. From this, one could tell how precious Honourable Weapons were. Of course, Wu Ma and Wu You Lan might have had Honourable Weapons. However, during their huge fight, the storage rings had disappeared into thin air.

There was also Wu Tian Yu. Su Mo remembered that when the other party was going to Firmament World, he previously used Honourable Weapons. However, after killing Wu Tian Yu, Su Mo searched the other party’s Storage Ring but could not find anything. Maybe those were weapons that the Sorcerer Tribe temporarily gave to Wu Tian Yu when he went to Firmament World.

After looking at these weapons, Su Mo solemnly collected them and took out six Jade Slips from the Storage Ring.

“Hopefully there will be a Honourable Cultivation Skill or Martial Arts Technique!” Su Mo secretly hoped as he looked at the six Jade Slips. This made Su Mo a little disappointed. Day Sun Heart Sutra was not a Five-Elements Property Cultivation Skill. It was not suitable for his Cultivation. Su Mo stored the Jade Slips and muttered in his heart. Deep down he had an idea to change the Cultivation Technique which was directed towards Heaven Combining Ghost Skill.

However, even though Heaven Combining Ghost Skill was powerful, if the Cultivation was not deep enough, all the Fighting Powers displayed would not amount to Grand Chaos Five Elements Skill. The only thing was that as the Cultivation increases continuously, the five types of Cultivation Skills for his blending of the Grand Chaos Five Elements Skill would be unable to keep up.

“I’m not sure if Grand Chaos Five Elements Skill will be able to blend with Honourable Cultivation Skills!” Su Mo secretly guessed. If he was able to blend it with Honourable Cultivation Skills, he definitely would not change Heaven Combining Ghost Skill. This matter required a long-term plan. Once he attained the Five-Elements Property Cultivation Skill, he would know it when tested.

At that moment, two sounds rang outside as Nie Qian and Han Ying’s bodies landed outside of Su Mo’s dwelling.

“Brother Su, it’s not good. The descendants of the Taishi Family are clamouring to kill you!” Nie Qian strode into Su Mo’s dwelling, his face etched with worry.

“No problem, I don’t believe that they would dare to come to Huoyuan Peak!” Su Mo shook his head as he seemed to be fearless. He had a fair fight with Taishi Xuan in the Fighting World. The both of them were willing and no one could fault him. No matter how much the Taishi descendants hated him, they would not dare to come to Huoyuan Peak to kill him.

“But… going on like this is not a solution! Do you intend to stay on Huoyuan Peak forever?” Nie Qian frowned. Even though it would be safe, he could not possibly hide here forever!

“There is always a way out, Heaven never seals off all the exits. It is not as if there are only Taishi descendants in Shenwu Academy!” Su Mo said lightly.

“Brother Su, do you mean to join another faction?” Han Ying followed behind as she entered the dwelling. Upon hearing this, her eyes lit up as she understood what Su Mo meant. Nie Qian was no fool either and understood it as he thought about it. No wonder Su Mo dared to kill Taishi Xuan. It was all planned.

“Not bad! The Shenwu Academy is formed by thirteen major forces. There are thirteen factions within the Academy. The major factions fight against each other secretly and compete for Genius Disciples!”

Su Mo nodded as his eyes glistened. He continued, “I have displayed such a powerful talent, I don’t believe that no one will invite me!”

Su Mo long had an idea in his head. Previously, after he had slain Leng Jiang, people from other factions had come to him. However, he did not accept their invitations. Now, Su Mo had displayed a stronger and even more horrifying Fighting Power talent. How could people of other factions just ignore this? The Taishi family faction may be extremely powerful, but other factions were equally as powerful. There was no fear.

A faint smile appeared on Su Mo’s face. If he was right, not long later there would be people who would come to invite him.

“Brother Su, I did not expect you to be so meticulous. I had always thought you were impulsive!” Nie Qian’s face appeared embarrassed. He had only worried and had not thought about it this way.

“Brother Su’s talent is unparalleled and his thoughts are extraordinary. It puts me to shame!” Han Ying shook her head. She felt that the gap between Su Mo and her was too big. In reality, this was not some profound strategy. It was just that the thought of the two of them offending the Taishi descendant caused them to panic; they were not calm enough.

“Brother Nie, Sister Han, other than the Taishi family, how much do you know about the other Factions?” Su Mo asked the two of them. Since they were going to join a new faction, naturally they could not choose in a haphazardly manner. This was because, after joining a faction and leaving the Academy, they would join the Faction’s Power. If they weren’t careful and well-informed, they might join a hated faction and become public enemies.

As such, this was no small matter and had to be considered carefully.

“I know this better!” Nie Qian nodded and continued, “Thirteen Factions and the thirteen Forces behind them are roughly the same. There isn’t a situation where one is stronger or weaker…!” Nie Qian continued to describe the situation of the thirteen factions in detail to Su Mo, as well as the Forces behind them.
