Although his spiritual alertness was strong and he could survey the surroundings within a thousand kilometers from him, Heavenly Underworld Star was simply too big. “What? Such a thing actually happened?” the core elders of the Sorcerer Tribe couldn’t help but express their surprise.

Upon hearing this, the key elders were shocked. Not even grass? This was really strange! However, not everyone was concerned about this matter. After all, it was only a few small towns, not a grave matter to be worried about.

“For this matter, I will open it to the floor. Who is willing to take responsibility of this matter and investigate it?” asked the Grand Priest in a deep voice. He would not personally take charge of such a small matter, but would arrange for some other tribe member to investigate. Wu Chen’s eyes sparkled and he immediately raised himself. Cupping his hands together to salute the Grand Priest, he said,”Grand Priest, I am willing to investigate!”

“You?” staring at Wu Chen, the Grand Priest responded in a deep voice, “I am afraid your cultivation level is too low, you might meet some trouble!” The Grand Priest did not want Wu Chen to take charge of this matter as he still felt that Wu Chen was a mysterious man who kept too many secrets.

He gave Wu Chen the Young Priest badge in order to keep track of his movements. However, his energy in the badge was suddenly blocked by some unknown force, furthering his suspicions. He was sure that Wu Chen wasn’t a simple man and must be keeping a large secret. He did not strip Wu Chen of his Young Priest title as he wanted to see what Wu Chen was going to do with his new position.

“Grand Priest, I will be careful. With my abilities, Martial Emperors wouldn’t even be my match!” Wu Chen solemnly proclaimed.

Hearing this, the Grand Priest was silent. Wu Chen saw this and continued, “Grand Priest, you have looked highly upon me and allowed me to be the Young Priest. I should naturally aid you. Please hand this matter to me, I will conduct a thorough investigation.”

“Mmph! Since you are so willing, you can handle this matter!” the Grand Priest did not argue further and simply nodded his head. With a slightly joyful expression he suggested, “Alright then. I will arrange some men to help you!”

“Sure!” Wu Chen did not reject the Grand Priest and immediately nodded his head.

Then, the Grand Priest immediately ordered men to usher in a few Sorcerer Tribe geniuses. None of these geniuses had cultivation levels lower than Wu Chen. Furthermore, the two strongest among them were Level 6 Martial Emperors. These two high level warriors were, surprisingly, Wu Ma and Wu You Lan.

This made Wu Chen’s hearts sink. The Grand Priest assigned Wu Ma and Wu You Lan, as well as so many other geniuses, to accompany him. The Grand Priest obviously did not trust him!
