Chapter 1300: Heaven Sword Skill
Su Mo felt that the scene before his eyes had changed, and he appeared on a vast wasteland. He turned his head to survey the surroundings. This wasteland was empty and infinite beyond words. It was covered with lush vegetation, weeds, and some low-lying ancient trees. From afar, one could also see a few low mountain peaks.
“This is the Special Device of the High Priest?” Su Mo’s eyes flashed. Would Qing Xuan be here?
Su Mo was immediately excited, he wanted to find Qing Xuan straightaway. However, he suppressed this unrealistic thought. Not to mention that Qing Xuan may not be in the Space, but, even if she were, he would not be able to save her. If he exposed his identity, there was no doubt he would die! Furthermore, this was the Special Device of the High Priest, it would definitely be under the voyeur of the latter.
Now that he was about to achieve his goal, he could not afford any slip-ups due to his impatience! Seeing that there was no one around, Su Mo presumed that those who reached Stage 3 of the test had all departed.
He then tried to calm himself, sitting down cross legged and beginning to learn the martial skill. The Young Priest position was just before his eyes. He had to give it his all and attain it in one shot. Su Mo carefully felt the martial skill in his mind. The martial skill that the was passed down by the High Priest was a form of Sword Play called “Heaven Sword Skill”.
However, the use of of this Sword Play did not require an actual sword. This skill allowed anything in Heaven and Earth to be used as a sword. Grass, wood, flowers, stones, anything could become a sword in hand.
“Mysterious Sword Play!” Su Mo marvelled. This High Priest of the Sorcerer Tribe was able to create such a fascinating Sword Play. No wonder he was the most powerful one in the Martial Sage Realm.

Immediately after, Su Mo carefully comprehended this Sword Play. He realized that this Sword Play had no level distinctions and that the difficulty level of cultivation was not that high. The power of this skill was determined by wielder’s cultivation, control, and sentiment of the sword. In other words, when this Sword Play was cultivated to a high level, it could either be extremely powerful or extremely weak. It was all dependent on the ability of the wielder.
Su Mo studied the Sword Play a few more times. He was not in a rush to cultivate, but carefully tried to figure out the mystery of the skill in his mind. To be honest, this Sword Play was very simple. After understanding the principles, he would be instantly be able to display them.
However, it would be somewhat difficult to exert powerful strength.
“Get up!”
After contemplating it for another hour, Su Mo sighed softly and raised his hands. The stones, dead leaves, weeds, and everything within a hundred miles from him flew into the air.
“Go!” Su Mo pointed straight and countless numbers of stones and dead leaves instantly rushed forth like lightning.
Tch! Tch!!
Rumble!!
Stones, leaves, and other detritus turned a large, ancient tree a few miles away into pieces. The ancient tree collapsed and dust flew everywhere.
“The power is too low!” Su Mo shook his head. This technique of anything-turning-into-a-sword was able to showcase his warrior level, however it did not have much power. This kind of Sword Play made use of a special technique that made use of one’s mental strength to manipulate tangible items. After which, similarly, using mental strength, it would channel the energy into any other item, forming a menacing kind of power.
The first part was slightly easier. The latter was more difficult.
Su Mo continued practicing. Time and time again he demonstrated the Heaven Sword Skill and various items within a thousand miles range from him, such as pebbles and dead leaves, were all completely and cleanly destroyed.
With continuous practice, his feel of the Heaven Sword Skill was more comprehensive. Every time he deployed the skill, his power would increase.

Swoosh!
Su Mo soared high in the sky, both his arms spread wide. All sorts of countless items that were within a hundred meter radius from him floated in the air. After which, under the control of Su Mo’s mind, these items turned into small beautiful swords, piercing into the vast sky as they exploded towards the small mountain in the distance. The small swords were closely packed, as if it were a shower that covered the entire sky and gushed in the direction of the small mountain.
In the next moment:
Boom!
The sound of an explosion resounded and caused the ground to shake. The small, two hundred-mile-tall mountain instantly exploded after being pierced and turned into broken stones that scattered everywhere.
“Not bad! There is some progress!” Su Mo smiled and muttered to himself. Only a day had passed. There were still two more days.
To cultivate until the Great Completion Realm in two days was not a big problem. Furthermore, this Heaven Sword Skill was very particular. The way he controlled the numerous sharp swords just now was of high precision in terms of the warrior’s expectations and control. It was also because his mental strength was very powerful, which is why he could achieve this step.
If he had only controlled a small number of physical items, the power of Heaven Sword Skill could have increased one more level.
Su Mo changed locations to continue practicing the Heaven Sword Skill.
Time passed and his Heaven Sword Skill mastery was even more complete, its power stronger. In the case where he went all out in his final demonstration, it would be close to the power of the Natal Spiritual Sword array. Even though this power was not considered very strong, it was still extremely impressive!
The reason why Su Mo was able to cultivate so quickly was because, first of all, he was a natural sword cultivator. He was more aware and familiar with the sword skill. Secondly, his mental strength was incomparably strong and his awareness extremely high. Thirdly, the difficulty level of Heaven Sword Skill was not that even that great.
However, he was unsure if he had truly reached the Great Completion Realm. Yet, he felt that his demonstration was becoming more satisfactory. Everything felt natural and spontaneous, like floating clouds and flowing water.
In a flash, three days passed. Su Mo, who was practicing Heaven Sword Skill, suddenly felt a vast surge of recognition that enveloped him. In the next moment, his body disappeared and he was dragged forcefully into a new space.
Swoosh swoosh swoosh!!
On the Grand Sorcerer Grounds, shadows of people glistened. The 61 geniuses who participated in the third stage had all appeared as well. The square appeared no different compared to three days ago. Everyone was still there, waiting for the final stage to end.
Upon seeing that Su Mo had arrived, everyone was excited. They were about to know who passed the test. For all they knew, this stage would decide who would become the new Young Priest! The High Priest’s penetrating gaze scanned over the 61 geniuses individually. When it came to Su Mo, he stopped for a moment. There was a hint of admiration that flashed in his eyes.
“Alright, three days have passed. Next up, we check your results!” The High Priest announced in a loud, clear voice.
The High Priest muttered slightly to himself, then continued, “Those of you who feel that you have not cultivated Heaven Sword Skill to almost a maximum, leave! Lest you be a disgrace!”
After the High Priest spoke, there were many faces among the 61 geniuses that were hesitant. Soon, 44 people left slowly, their faces downcast as they walked to join the crowd.
Those who left knew themselves well, and were aware of their own cultivation progress. Not to mention reaching the Grand Completion Realm, their cultivation had not even reached the Minor Completion Realm.
