This Young Priest ceremony also attracted renowned geniuses who were respected by many Sorcerer Tribesmen. There were even those who had been recommended by higher-ups, along with candidates who were famous and popular.

There was a list of one hundred top geniuses of the Sorcerer Tribe, who were ranked based on their strengths from the first to the hundredth. These people were either prominent talents or favoured sons. Although these hundred people were ranked by random people, they were indeed the top geniuses among the Sorcerer Tribe. Everyone knew that the one to be chosen as the young priest would be among these hundred. Wu Chen had also made it onto the list and was ranked the 78th. Although it may seem as though this ranking was not high, it was actually quite good considering the vast amount of other Sorcerer Tribe geniuses who were attending the ceremony. This was because of Wu Chen’s previous victory over ten other geniuses and the fame he gained from killing Wu Mo. Otherwise, he definitely would not have made it onto the list. Presently, Su Mo left Earth Pagoda, as the Young Priest choosing ceremony was nearing. He definitely had to learn more about it beforehand. Of course, he was using Wu Chen’s body to leave. The Devouring Fighting Soul once again entered Wu Chen’s body and controlled it. As for the two Fighting Souls of his Avatar, they would not harm his original body as they were compatible with each other.

By now, Black Gold City was a slightly desolate place. Many people had gone over to Heavenly Underworld City where the Young Priest choosing ceremony would take place. Su Mo only needed to ask around a bit to obtain the information he needed regarding the Young Priest choosing ceremony.

It was going to take place in three days time at Heavenly Underworld City. As for the choosing process, the rounds and challenges were different every year and he would only know what they were when the time came. Su Mo had also gotten to know the prominent candidates for this year’s ceremony. They were strong opponents and he needed to be far superior than them in order to stand out among everyone else. The three most famous candidates were key people of whom Su Mo took note. They were: Wu Ren Wang in first place, Wu Ma in second, and Wu You Lan in third place. All of them were at the top, whether it once considered their strength or their talents. Furthermore, they even had special physiques and strong Fighting Souls.

Wu Ren Wang in first place not only had a special physical body, he also had the finest talent with two very strong Fighting Souls. Su Mo dared not underestimate these people with such god given talents, he had to be wary and careful of them.

Time flew by quickly and in the blink of an eye, three days were up.

In the wee hours of the morning, when the sun had barely risen and the sky was still musky, Su Mo left his living quarters and headed towards Heavenly Underworld City. Black Gold City was a guard city of Heavenly Underworld City and was hence very close to it. Without any disturbance along the way, Su Mo quickly reached Heavenly Underworld City. Then, he dashed directly towards the Grand Sorcerer Grounds.

The Grand Sorcerer Grounds were huge, even bigger than Skymoon Country. These Grand Sorcerer Grounds were vast and spanned over an area of two hundred kilometers, and the entire area was made of a type of rock from Green Stones.

When Su Mo arrived here, the entire Grand Sorcerer Grounds were already very crowded and bustling with activity. More than a million people were crowded here. A quick glance around and he could only see the black coloured hair on everyone’s heads.

“Look, that is Wu Chen, the genius who recently shot to fame!”

“I heard he killed Wu Mo and his power is very strong!”

“He is on the list of the potential candidates for the young priest and, although he is only ranked 78th, he is still a very likely choice!”

“This man cultivates Ghost skills and I heard that it is very terrifying. He is unrivalled within Black Gold City!”

Su Mo’s arrival instantly attracted a lot of people’s attention and he heard many voices discussing him. The people of Heavenly Underworld City and the other eight guards city did not recognise him, but most of the people of Black Gold City were familiar with him. After all, the previous battles on the Fighting Grounds had become the talk of the town.

Su Mo looked around the grounds and sat down quietly in an isolated corner to wait for the choosing ceremony to begin. The top people of the Sorcerer Tribe had not arrived and the ceremony would naturally not begin without them. Su Mo was pretty confident about this Young Priest choosing ceremony. Afterall, what the judges were looking for in this Young Priest choosing ceremony was talent, potential, fighting power, and not cultivation level. Of course, the candidates for the young priest could only be those in the Martial Emperor Realm. This was the requirement to participate in it.

Time passed slowly and more and more people gathered at the grounds. Wu Tian Yu also arrived at the ground and had been surrounded by many other tribesmen, showing that he was a prominent person. As Wu Tian Yu’s gaze passed through the crowd and surveyed the grounds, he quickly found Su Mo in his isolated corner. Then, he casually strode over towards Su Mo.

“Wu Chen, long time no see!” Wu Tian Yu smiled at Su Mo, stopping a few feet in front of him.

“Level 3 Martial Emperor Realm!” Looking Wu Tian Yu up and down, Su Mo instantly sensed that his cultivation level had risen quickly.

“That’s right, now I am at the same level as you. Hope that we will have a chance to fight at this choosing ceremony!” Wu Tian Yu nodded his head and his eyes sparkled with a strong fighting urge.

Wu Chen, unrivalled in Black Gold City?

Wu Tian Yu refused to accept this. If they could battle at this choosing ceremony, then he would make Wu Chen suffer a crushing defeat in front of everyone. Even if he does not have the opportunity to fight him, he would challenge Wu Chen after the ceremony.

“You will regret it, then!” Su Mo said emotionlessly. He was in no hurry to kill Wu Tian Yu. As long as he could become the young priest, he could very easily crush him.

“Regret?” laughed Wu Tian Yu lightly and mocked, “Although I do not know what miracle you met with that allowed you to increase your strength within such a short period of time, you are clearly just relying on some form of Ghost Skill and are not worthy anything!”

Su Mo couldn’t help laughing and continued, “You are supposed to be a genius and have all the benefits and advantages you could want. Yet you can’t even beat a scoundrel from the Firmament World, I am embarrassed for you!”

“You are asking for death!” Wu Tian Yu’s face immediately darkened and a murderous rage filled his heart.
