Chapter 1211 You are very brave
There were nearly 40 people in this uninvited mob, each a martial artist in the Martial Royal Realm or above. There were also five Emperors-to-be.
The man leading them was an old man in a brown robe. He sported a clipped mustache and was slightly stout. He looked very grim.
The mob strode forward. They soon stopped at the mansion the Firmament Palace people were building.
The old man in brown robe glanced at Su Mo and Xi’er chatting casually before the main gate. A look of astonishment crossed his eyes.
They were surprised that both Su Mo and Xi’er had reached Lv 9 Martial Royal Realm. They were so young, yet their cultivations were so amazing.
“Who are you?” he yelled.
No one answered him. Su Mo and Xi’er continued to chat while the other experts from the Firmament Palace bustled about with their work.
One after another, stone walls were erected. Simple pavilions were also constructed.
The old man looked grim. The mob of experts behind him were upset as well.
A group of strangers from nowhere, building an edifice on their turf without consulting them! They obviously did not hold them in any regard.
“This is Town Tushan. Have you consulted the Tu Family before putting up such a large mansion?” The old man suddenly roared. His thunderous voice billowed into the distance.
After this, the old man struck out his palm, blasting a gigantic palm print on the newly erected walls.
Boom!
There was a violent explosion. A large segment of the surrounding walls, nearly ten kilometers across, was shattered by his strike. Stone fragments were flung in every direction.
The experts from the Firmament Palace were stunned. They stopped what they were doing and looked livid.
The rudimentary framework of the mansion had just been erected and someone had come to destroy it!
Su Mo and Xi’er stood up from the huge rock before the main gate. They were also quite dumbfounded by this unexpected turn of events.
After glancing at the old man in the brown robe, Su Mo darkened his face.

Swoosh!
Taking a single step, he dashed forward nearly a kilometer to meet the mob.
The rest of the people from the Firmament Palace had also arrived. They streaked to Su Mo’s back, ready to confront these unwelcome guests.
“What do you mean by this?” Su Mo stared evilly at the old man in the brown robe, questioning him coldly.
“What do I mean?”
The old man sneered coldly. “This is the turf of the Tu Family. How dare you erect a new mansion here without our consent! Obviously, you hold us in no regard at all!”
“How powerful is this Tu Family?” Su Mo asked again. Slowly, the killing desire rose in his heart.
“Ha, the Tu Family is the pre-eminent family of Town Tushan–the overlord here!”
The brown-robed old man looked very haughty. He squinted his eyes at Su Mo and continued. “Let me offer you a piece of advice. You either get out of this town, or submit to us!”
The old man’s commanding voice was intimidating. He would not tolerate a rejection–the air of an overlord.
He realized that Su Mo and his people were highly cultivated. He preferred to take them under his wings and thus did not throw them straight out.
All the people from the Firmament Palace were infuriated. They did not throw their punches, however, since they were newcomers and did not know the place well.
“Great! You are very brave!” Su Mo started to laugh. A sinister smile curved his lips.
“What do you mean?”
The old man started but before he could react, a black flashing sword had already slashed at his head.
The sword strike was extremely fast. The lethal, malicious strike tore through space and was about to shave his head off.
Su Mo attacked the brown-robed elder, striking viciously with his Billion Demonic Sword.
“What?” The old man paled with fright. The sword was too fast for him to duck. He could only mobilize his defense power and erect a shield above his head.

Chh!
Chh, chh!
The black sword flashed and broke through the old man’s Body-protection Dark Force. The sword severed the old man and cut him into two.
There was no shriek; no blood had gushed out. The old man’s blood seemed to have been instantly sucked dry by the Billion Demonic Sword.
Boom!
The old man in brown robe dropped down, dead. He had been slain instantly by the sword!
A hush.
A dead silence all around!
The experts of the Tu Family with the brown-robed elder, as well as the other staring martial artists of Town Tushan, were all stunned. The only people not shocked were those from the Firmament Palace.
The rest stared at the fallen brown-robed elder, flabbergasted.
This old man was the Tu Family’s First Elder. He was an Emperor-to-be, the second best fighter in town.
He was so strong–yet he had been slain by a single sword strike!
The person who slew him was only an Lv 9 Martial Royal Realm youth!
The people of Town Tushan looked stupefied. They all stared blankly at the brown-robed old man, cleaved in two.
“First Elder!”
“First Elder!”
“First Elder!”
After some time, the band of Tu experts with the old man finally shouted out in shock. All were mourning his death with a painful expression.
They could not believe their eyes. Their First Elder was dead–killed in so terrible way.
“You… you have killed our First Elder! You will surely die!” An expert of the Tu Family glared at Su Mo and yelled out.
“You will all die!”
“How dare you kill a member of the Tu Family! You won’t escape!”
“Just you wait!”
The mob of experts was yelling furiously. Yet they did not dare to collect the body of the brown-robed elder. They turned and fled, fearful that Su Mo would raise his hand on them as well.
Within the blink of an eye, all the mob had fled.
Seeing so many experts from the Firmament Place building an edifice, they had originally wanted to drive them away or subdue them. They had strutted here arrogantly for this reason.
They did not expect their First Elder to be tragically killed in a flash. No one had dared to stay.
Su Mo watched the mob run away. He did not stop them. It would be good for them to learn how to behave. He would not mind a massacre otherwise.
“Who are these people? How dare they kill the First Elder of the Tu Family!”
“I’m not sure. There’re so many experts in their group. Could they be from a superpower?”
“This man is so powerful! He has managed to slay an Emperor-to-be in a second, even before he has reached the Martial Emperor Realm!”
“The Master of the Tu Family will be livid. We can look forward to a show!”
A commotion rose among the martial artists watching in the distance. They spoke, one after another, in a din.
Everyone was shocked. These outsiders were so strong!
“Su Mo, will we be alright?” A person from the Firmament Palace came to his side and asked with a frown.
They had not expected Su Mo to be so decisive. He had killed an Emperor-to-be with a single sword strike.
Although they would feel less aggrieved after the slaughter, would this spell trouble?
“It’s alright. There are no strong fighters in this town!” Su Mo shook his head.
He had investigated the town carefully. There was only a Martial Emperor here, and he was merely at the Lv 1 Martial Emperor Realm. He could not threaten them.
“I see!” Everyone heaved a sigh of relief. It was good no superior could be found here.
Su Mo immediately stepped up to take away the Divine Pill from the brown-robed elder.
He had contemplated his move beforehand. Although he had severed the man into two, he had not destroyed his divine pill.
“What bandit is this… courting death!”
A sudden, earth-shaking roar rang out in the distance. Thunders clapped, reverberating throughout the open land.

Ira’s Faithful
[On Hiatus due to health reasons] Synopsis: Fate has plans for everyone. There are many paths one can walk and many nodes one can unlock. Yet all mortal souls only start with one node. This has been the case for many years and while there are some records of people with more than one first node, these are as rare as wings on snails, roses made of air, or ropes made of dragon-hair. Elise Anker has two first nodes. She doesn't know why and the only one that could answer is an angry voice in her head. She hears it rarely and the voice is as helpful as a sword is effective against a Leviathan. She strives to become a mage, a knight or maybe something else entirely. The future is uncertain and unless she finds out what her nodes mean, she will never know what she wants to become. But her nodes won't unlock and the angry voice tells her that she needs to find a worthy foe to kill. Disclaimer: This is a work of fiction. Genetically modified supersoldiers who participated in the spartan program, which aimed to reinforce and compensate for the humans capability of emotion in order to create the ideal supersoldier. The program itself resulting in the implantation of a limiter for a certain individual, which acted in limiting that persons emotions. Replacing it with a cold logical based calculative mindscape. The limiter aimed to support the ideal supersoldier in completing the objectives assigned to them. Be it mass slaughter, or assasination. Death, however, was something he usually gave, not to receive. So when death comes to take his life, he awaits in silence, only to be dumbfounded at what is to happen next. This is the story of Nicholas Gray, the Shadow Demon. Note: Story is based on other LitRPGs found on the site such as Dante's Immortality, Necromancer and Co, etc. and on Halo for the majority of the first chapter and possibly later on down the road, I only borrowed things such as the armour and weapons used in the game itself and all credit goes to them for that kind of stuff. I will also perhaps use it to explain his backstroy to further character progression if I can. The cover photo was also a picture I found on the internet and if you wish for credit or for me to take it down just say so and i'll do it as fast as possible. I also don't have a set schedule, and this is just being used to improve my grammar and just as a hobby, nothing more. I will also appreciate feedback in regards to grammar, style, and story in general as this is the first time I have created a story apart from at school, hope you enjoy reading it as much as I enjoy writing it!
