Chapter 1126: An Indefectible Myth
Translator: Transn Editor: Transn
“Hey! Do you really want to fight Wu Sen?” Dragon King of the East Sea asked. He found out about this two days ago.
“Correct!” Su Mo nodded.
“How sure are you?” Dragon King of the East Sea asked in low voice. He did not try to persuade Su Mo to give up his plan but rather asked his certainty of success.
“Not very sure!” Su Mo shook his head.
“Not very sure?” Dragon King of the East Sea frowned. “How dare Su Mo fight Wu Sen if he isn’t very sure? Isn’t he digging his own grave?”
“Su Mo, you…!”
Dragon King of the East Sea was going to try to persuade but Su Mo immediately interrupted him. He seriously said, “However, if you can do me a favor, I can be sure.”
“What kind of favor?” Dragon King of the East Sea curiously asked. Although he was powerful, he could not contend with a Martial Emperor expert.
Su Mo thought for a moment and then looked at Dragon King of the East Sea with keen eyes. “Are there any pseudo-Dragon Balls in the palace?”
“Do you want a pseudo-Dragon Ball?” Dragon King of the East Sea was startled upon hearing this.
“Yes!” Su Mo nodded. Improving his cultivation within a short time was very unlikely. Therefore, if he wanted to increase his strength, he had to enhance his physical body instead.
He thus asked the Dragon King of the East Sea for a pseudo-Dragon Ball because only these could enhance his physical strength the fastest.
Dragon King of the East Sea became silent. His Flood-dragon tribe actually had a pseudo-Dragon Ball. In fact, they had two.
Long Teng had one ball while the other was in the palace.
The two pseudo-Dragon Balls had been reserved for Long Teng一they could play an important role in his future.
Now that Su Mo had come to ask for it, Dragon King of the East Sea suddenly became a little hesitant.

The pseudo-Dragon Ball was too valuable. They had already given one to Su Mo before, and these two were the last.
“There is a ball in the palace. Since you want it, I will give it to you!” Dragon King of the East Sea spoke seriously after a long silence.
Although he hated to part with the Dragon Ball, he had to do so in order to ensure that Su Mo would win the fight against Wu Sen.
If he was defeated, the Flood-dragon tribe of the East Sea would suffer a great calamity.
Dragon King of the East Sea knew his priorities.
Besides, Long Teng was indebted to Su Mo, after the latter made the former become a descendant of the Brightgold Palace and receive the great emperor’s legacy.
The debt of gratitude was more valuable than a Dragon Ball.
Dragon King of the East Sea sent for the pseudo-Dragon Ball and then gave it to Su Mo personally.
“This Dragon Ball is the most powerful one in our Flood-dragon tribe.” He murmured.
Su Mo held the pseudo-Dragon Ball and sized it up. He secretly felt pleased.
The Dragon Ball was as big as two adult heads. It was larger than the one he had before and the energy it contained was more tremendous.
With this Dragon Ball, he could raise his physical strength several levels higher.
In this case, he would be more confident in his fight against Wu Sen.
“Dragon Lord, Thanks a lot! I won’t let you down!” Su Mo took the pseudo-Dragon Ball and cupped his hands.
“En!”
Dragon King of the East Sea nodded and exhorted. “Bear in mind, if you can’t defeat Wu Sen, you’d better stay safe. With your talent, you can stage a comeback soon!”
“I understand!”
Su Mo answered in a low voice. He talked with Dragon King of the East Sea for a while longer before leaving the East Sea Dragon Palace.
It was less than five days before the fight. He had to arrive at the Emperor Xuan Mountain Range within five days. He was pressed for time.

Dragon King of the East Sea wanted to go with Su Mo, but he chose to stay in the East Sea Dragon Palace in consideration of its security.
In the void, Su Mo sat cross-legged on the Natal Spiritual Sword. He hurried along in his journey by activating the sword while preparing to enhance his strength.
Due to limited time, he had to efficiently use the travel time to improve his physical strength.
He took out the pseudo-Dragon Ball and activated the Devouring Martial Soul, beginning to absorb the energy inside the ball.
Inside the pseudo-Dragon ball was tremendous energy containing the power of the Dragon’s Bloodline. It flowed into Su Mo’s body wantonly.
In an instant, he glowed with golden light and turned into a Dragonesque Elephant combat body, like a transformed demonic beast.
The giant Dragonesque Elephant shadow roared to the sky, shaking heaven and earth. Wisps of golden Qi Force wandered across his entire body.
His physical strength entered a booming process again.
As he hurried to the Emperor Xuan Mountain Range, the abnormal phenomena and roars of the Dragonesque Elephant shadow made a great impact on countless people.
However, he was riding on the sword at a very fast speed, so he could only clearly see a few martial artists.
Time passed quickly.
His physical strength constantly improved as if it was limitless.
Lv 7 Martial Royal Realm!
Lv 8 Martial Royal Realm!
Lv 9 Martial Royal Realm!
It took Su Mo most of the day to absorb all of the energy inside the pseudo-Dragon Ball.
His physical strength had risen to a higher level and was now equal to that of an Lv 9 Martial Royal Realm martial artist.
With such a powerful physical strength, he felt as if his physique was as strong as an Archean Demonic Beast.
Such a powerful physical strength in addition to his cultivation boosted his confidence.
“Martial Emperor Realm?”
He wanted to figure out how formidable the legendary Martial Emperor Realm expert was.
As he went to the Emperor Xuan Mountain Range, countless martial artists in the Firmament World were also going there from all directions.
The fight between Su Mo and the Netherworld Devil Sect master was an ultimate champions match in the Firmament World. It would shape the Firmament World in the future.
Would the Netherworld Devil Sect or the Firmament Palace dominate the Firmament World? It all depended on this match.
Therefore, everyone in the Firmament World went into action without delay. Plenty of experts hurried to the Emperor Xuan Mountain Range at top speed.
The Firmament World was on the verge of a radical change.
Even the Firmament Palace was no exception. Wenren Tiandu, Sikong Yan, Jiang Fengran, Xi’er, and the other descendants of the nine palaces came out of seclusion.
They went to the Emperor Xuan Mountain Range with Deputy Pavilion Leader Qian, the 13th Elder, Huatai Mountain, and others, under Hai Mingjiang and Di Shi’s leadership.
For such an important war, they would definitely go to support Su Mo.
Many experts from superpowers who had come to witness the battle had planned to cozy up to the winner of the battle.
Everybody guessed the same. They thought Su Mo would definitely lose.
The Netherworld Devil Sect master Wu Sen had more than 90% probability of winning while Su Mo had less than 10% probability of winning.
Even the experts of the Sky-sea Pavilion and the Emperor Xuan Palace, as well as descendants of the nine palaces, including Sikong Yan, were not enthusiastic about Su Mo.
The Martial Emperor Realm expert was a legendary figure in the Firmament World and an indefectible myth.
At the Lv 4 Martial Royal Realm, Su Mo’s hope to defeat a Martial Emperor Realm expert and shatter the myth was minuscule.

After many years apart, Rihelah was on her way to see Michael, hoping to rekindle their friendship on the day they would both lose their lives. The pair are unwittingly selected to represent Earth in a test set forth by godlike beings who are intrigued that our world gave rise to complex life without having been intentionally seeded by their kind. Michael and Rihelah are reincarnated as predatory insects upon a distant planet called Edon. Elves, Dwarves, Dragons and their kin, Goblins, Ogres, Humans, Lizardfolk, Orcs, and sapient arthropods known as Enkelyn all inhabit this beautiful world touched by magic. The tiny mantids must survive terrified and very much alone upon arrival, while neither is aware that the other has also been reincarnated upon the same island. Naked in their new chitinous exoskeletons, they must now brave the terrors of an alien world's food chain. Each will benefit from their years of experience on Earth, but they must somehow find a balance between old lives and new. Moderate mindsets and peaceful values from a mostly safe and privileged life on Earth must now contend and somehow coexist with the strange physiology of a new and unfamiliar body as well as the violent aggressiveness of a predator's mind. To top things off, the pair are about to find themselves struggling with their inner turmoil while swept up by terrible conflicts they know nothing about. Both endure the hardships of their new lives while attempting to understand and make proper use of a mysterious and terse video-game-like System that pops status notifications into their vision from time to time, but initially has no useful interface. Some of the options they are presented with sound enticing, but as with everything else in life, each choice has benefits and drawbacks... Author's Note: This story makes many changes to the original version, and readers of Mantid will find that many things in Mantis are new and different; especially after the first few chapters. A Fragmented Mind
"Hi there. My name is Richard Maddox, but my — admittedly nonexistent — friends call me Rick. I live in a world of superheroes and villains. A world filled with magic and physics-defying powers, and in this world, I'm just an ordinary, completely average 17-year-old boy. My imaginary friends, however, are as far from average as you get. You think you're good at deluding yourself? Well, stand back, because it's time for a master to show you his craft. Welcome to my life, the life of a madman." This story was originally inspired by the 'Legion' novella series written by Brandon Sanderson. If you've read those books and liked them, it might be worth giving this a read. The same goes if you haven't read them either, I guess. (Currently re-writing earlier chapters)
