Chapter 1062: Void-shifting Formation
Translator: Transn Editor: Transn
The Thick Earth Pavilion’s high gravity was very effective for Su Mo’s Dark Force refinement.
The powerful gravity could speed up his Dark Force stablization.
Time went by slowly and he had been here for ten days.
After ten days, Su Mo’s cultivation had become steady but it would take some more time for him to consume more Spiritual Qi to attempt another breakthrough.
One day, Su Mo slowly opened his eyes.
Ten days had passed and it was time for the Firmament Palace to go public.
Su Mo rose and slowly walked out of the Thick Earth Pavilion.
Outside the Thick Earth Pavilion, a dozen figures were waiting. They were the nine puppets, Sikong Yan, Wenren Tiandu, and Cai Yun.
“Master, all the disciples have assembled at the main gate square!” Gold One reported in a loud, clear voice, his hands folded in front of his face.
“Good. Let’s go!”
Su Mo nodded. He took the lead and strode towards White Jade Square at the main gate.
Walking through streets and alleys in the Firmament Palace, Su Mo noticed the palace had been decorated joyously. Red lanterns were hung up in front of each building as if for a wedding.
Su Mo couldn’t help smiling. This must have been arranged by the puppets.
Soon, Su Mo led the group to White Jade Square.
“Hahah! The whole world will shake for the Firmament Palace’s coming out!”
“Many will fight to join the Firmament Palace!”
“The Firmament Palace will conquer the Firmament World under our master’s rule.”
White Jade Square was very lively, with countless people talking merrily to each other.
These were the disciples of the Illuminious Palace, the Firescorching Palace, and the Darknight Palace.
Or the former Firmament Sect, the Horned-demon tribe, and the Horned-demon Sect founded by Cai Yun.

The total number of these three palaces had already exceeded the 200,000 mark.
Su Mo’s arrival quieted the square. Even the sound of a fallen needle could be heard.
200,000 pairs of eyes gazed at Su Mo.
The nine puppets and the trio stood in front of the crowd on the square.
Su Mo climbed up the Sky-climbing Ladder alone, glancing across all the disciples of the Firmament Palace from above.
“Everyone, the Firmament Palace has slept quietly for tens of thousands of years. Today it will be reborn!
“The Firmament Palace was once the overlord of the Firmament World in ancient times. Today it will rule the world again!
“This is a glorious moment. The Firmament World is about to change. We are to witness this together.”
Su Mo’s words shook the entire Firmament Palace.
Numerous young disciples of the Firmament Palace were lit up, their blood boiling in their chest.
“Conquer the Firmament World!”
“Conquer the Firmament World!”
“Conquer the Firmament World!”
The disciples sang in unison. Their voice tore the sky open and caused the earth to shake.
Su Mo raised his hands with a smile.
At the next breath, the whole square was quiet as the crowd fell into a dead silence.
“Open the Void-shifting Formation!” Su Mo ordered the nine puppets.
“Yes, master!”
The nine puppets responded in unison. They then rose up into the sky, one thousand zhang above the ground.
The nine puppets separated in the sky, forming a huge circle.
The next, beams of light emerged in the nine puppets’s hands, forming one after another odd seals, which were shot in all directions.
Each puppet shot different seals, covering the nine properties of gold, wood, water, fire, earth, wind, thunder, light, and darkness.
The nine seals flew at the lightning speed to the water curtain formation that had been shrouding the Firmament Palace.

Rumble, rumble, rumble!
The massive water curtain formation gave off dazzling white light, with violent fluctuations and thundering noise.
One breath!
Two breaths!
Three breaths!
After three breaths, the entire Firmament Palace began to shake. The massive water curtain formation along with the huge main gate to the Firmament Palace plunged into the endless void with a whoosh.
Phew!
The massive water curtain formation shuttled through the endless void like a big meteorite.
There were blinding sparkles and light from the fast rubbing between the water curtain formation and the void.
Soon, the water curtain formation turned into a huge fireball, burning violently.
Inside the Firmament Palace, Su Mo and countless disciples of the palace watched it without a word.
Outside the water curtain formation, there was a blazing fire but inside they felt nothing.
The only thing they could feel was the Firmament Palace’s main gate moving rapidly in the void.
“This Void-shifting Formation is very mysterious and marvelous!” Su Mo was amazed. There was also Void-shifting Formation and Void teleportation charm outside.
But those were nothing compared to the Firmament Palace’s Void-shifting Formation.
The Firmament Palace was not on the same plane with the Firmament World. It was crossing the gap between two planes to return to the Firmament World.
This was incredibly amazing. Only this ancient overbearing force Firmament Palace had such means.
The crowd waited quietly for the Firmament Palace’s main gate to break into the Firmament World’s plane.
…
The city of Tongyang on the Central Continent.
Tongyang was a small city with a popolation of less than one million, livily and prosperous.
Built on a rolling terrain in the south of the Central Continent, the city’s martial arts development was way behind compared to other parts of the Central Continent due to its remote location.
Today would be an unforgettable day for the entire city of Tongyang.
The sun was just rising and the city of Tongyang was just about to get busy.
The streets of Tongyang were crowded with people and carriages like always.
Rumble, rumble, rumble!
All of a sudden, the sky became dark and a rumbling sound came from the void.
“What’s going on? The weather has changed so fast!”
Someone commented, looking at the sky where the bright morning sun disappeared in a blink of an eye.
“This is not right. The void is vibrating.”
Those with advanced cultivation sensed the oddity at once. The entire city of Tongyang and the space around it of one thousand li in radius were shaking.
It was like right after a powerful attack by a mighty fighter.
Moreover, the gentle turbulence in the space turned into a violent shake within a few breaths.
Even those ordinary commoners without martial arts background felt the abnormality.
“What’s happening?”
“What the heck is going on?”
“What is this?”
The whole city panicked. Numerous martial artists flew out of their home.
The fluctuation of the space had caused the earth to shake.
The entire city of Tongyang was shaking as if there was a big earthquake.

His eyes had turned bloodshot and his hands shook with rage. “The first thirty…” “Shut up!” Genzo bellowed “How dare you help these disrespectful gaijin?” Flecks of spit and madness flew from his face, his fist raised ready to strike. But Emi did not flinch, instead she was about ready to continue when Yuma Takeuchi interrupted her. “Uchida, please,” her sweet sounding words could melt ice. “I think we will have a better chance of getting home if we all work together.” When she glanced up with her sleepy looking eyes at Genzo Uchida he deflated visibly. “Were not getting home.” Uchida said coolly. “Group summoning, large, that puts us in the 60 series. No one came to greet us after five minutes of arrival. That leaves scenarios 68 and 69. In scenario 68 there is something that binds the large group together; they are all classmates or a single family. But thanks to the gaijin” he spit out the word “I think we are scenario 69 with no way home.” Ikko Inoue’s eyes went wide, while Katsukno and Hayata started muttering to themselves. Tim took on a serious look and rubbed his scruffy chin. Emi maintained her stoic expression while trying to find something to refute. McKenzie glanced at Randall and giggled. Randall took the prompting of his teammate and followed up by approaching Genzo. “Uh, so we are in a sixty-nine?” “Yes.” Replied Genzo with the seriousness of someone who’s life was about to end. McKenzie covered her mouth and snickered. “You and me, were stuck in a sixty-nine situation?” Randall pushed with a grin. “Yes, we are all stuck in a sixty-nine scenario together!” Genzo retorted in anger. McKenzie fell on her butt laughing. “What the hell is so funny?” Demanded Genzo, whose face had turned red. “It’s a problem with the automatic translation.” Retorted Tim. Randall, who seemed unable to quit started in again “So, about this sixty-ni…” Genzo interrupted Randall with a swift punch to the face. But, because of their height difference it was a bit of an uppercut that left Randall rattled. Tim and Ikko moved to step in between the two, but Genzo showed no further hostility. Instead he just stared at his clenched fist with such intensity it grabbed the attention of the room. “I unlocked a skill.” He said bluntly. ***************************** This is not a light novel, but people who like light novels should enjoy the themes of this book. ***************************** A Map of the Region
