The passer-by was a young man of about 20. He was slightly pudgy and looked kind.

The young man heard Su Mo’s question and sighed, “The Mansion was destroyed by the Horned-demon Sect!”

“The Horned-demon Sect?”

Su Mo frowned and asked, “Then where is the governor’s son, Yin Tianchou? Is he dead?”

“No, Yin Tianchou and the Governor have all submitted to the Horned-demon Sect!” The young man shook his head and said.

“Is this Horned-demon Sect very powerful? Su Mo asked softly. He had never heard of this sect. He also heaved a sigh of relief. All was well since Yin Tianchou had not died.

“They’re very powerful. The Horned-demon Sect had only developed their powers over the past year. In only a year, they had managed to conquer the major forces of the Devilish Land. The queen of the sect is terrifyingly powerful!” said the young man.

Su Mo suddenly understood and he asked, “Then where is the gate to the Horned-demon Sect?”

“The sect is within the Green Mountains!” answered the young man.

Su Mo nodded. He had heard of the Green Mountains. It was an extensive mountain range on the edge of the Devilish Land.

“Many thanks!” Su Mo placed his fists together and thanked the young man. Then, he rushed into the air and hurried away.

The slightly pudgy young man looked in the direction of where Su Mo had gone and did not speak for a long while. Moments later, with a shocked expression on his face, he muttered to himself, “Su Mo has appeared once again!”

The young man had already recognized Su Mo. Su Mo had disappeared when the Cold-blood Hall had attacked the East Continent. No one could have imagined that he would appear a year later.

“It seems like something great is about to happen at the East Continent!” The young man sighed. Su Mo was a legendary character of the East Continent. His appearance meant that an earth-shattering event was about to happen.

After leaving the Sky Devil City, Su Mo hurried towards the Green Mountains. The Devilish Land was not large. As such, it took Su Mo an hour to arrive at the mountains.

The Green Mountains were rather large. Upon entering the mountain ranges, Su Mo stretched out his spiritual consciousness in search of the Horned-demon Sect.

Moments later, a large explosion caught his attention, and he found the location of the sect.

The chain of explosions rang in Su Mo’s ears as he flew in the direction of the sound.

Su Mo saw a large valley from afar. There were many structures and people in the valley.

And right at this moment, the forces in the valley were facing an ambush.

Several men in black robes surrounded the valley. There were also several experts fighting in the sky. Sanguine light shot towards the sky and waves of Dark Forces enveloped the area. It was an intense fight.

Cai Yun was from the Horned-demon tribe. The tribe served the Five Elements. In other words, they were a subsidiary force of the Firmament Palace.

The Horned-demon tribe were trapped in the Celestialspirit Sect’s Horned-demon Territory. Su Mo had given up his freedom after taking her from the territory.

It seemed that the rather capable girl had created the Horned-demon Sect and had taken in a large portion of the powers in the Devilish Land.

The battle in the sky above the valley was at a crescendo. Cai Yun’s cultivation state was at the fourth level of the Martial King Realm, however, her combat strength was powerful.

Even though she was being attacked by three experts from the Cold-blood Hall who were at the Lv 7 Martial King Realm and was at a disadvantage, her combat strength could not be overlooked.
