Chapter 888: Fight against the Great
Translator: Transn Editor: Transn
Su Mo, who was absorbing Dark Force, retreated rapidly as soon as he saw the Divine Martial Emperor was about to attack.
At the same time, the middle-aged man’s Dark Force and blood Qi, carrying with the devouring power, surrounded Su Mo.
“Swoosh! Swoosh!”
Su Mo stepped back while he called out the Earthly Shield and Hornet Sword on his both hands.
The finger radiance from the Great ran faster than Su Mo. It tore the space and was going to hit Su Mo.
“Broken!”
Su Mo immediately stopped devouring. He started the Dark Force and waved the Hornet Sword against the finger radiance.
“Slash!”
The sword radiance fell down, carrying terrifying power and hit the finger radiance.
“Rumble!”
“Boom!” The finger radiance crashed, so did the sword ray. The blast waves ran over the field.
“Rumble,”
As the blast wave passed, the garden was razed and the buildings outside the garden collapsed into ash.
“Is that all?”
Su Mo didn’t step back. He was confused. Was that all the Divine Martial Emperor could do?
However, Su Mo got over it. He pushed the Devouring Martial Soul to absorb the Dark Force rolling around him, including the remaining Dark Force of the finger radiance.
The abundant Dark Force entered Su Mo’s body and was refined into the earth property elixir.
At this time, the earth property elixir flared and done condensation. He could reach the Martial King Realm in any second.
Everyone who watched the battle was astonished. They didn’t expect that the man who at Half Step to Martial King could take the attack from the Great.
“This is incredible!”
Indeed!
However, they also knew it was because the Great had not tried his best. Otherwise, the guard should be dead.

“Eh?”
The Divine Martial Emperor saw his attack fail and frowned. He did not expect Su Mo could be so strong.
He didn’t do his best yet. He wanted the spatial treasure. He was worried if he blew Su Mo up, the storage ring would be destroyed or lost in the void.
So, he only used less than 20% of his strength.
He thought that would be enough to kill Su Mo, but Su Mo took it.
“He could absorb Dark Force like this?”
Seeing abundant Dark Force run to Su Mo, the Divine Martial Emperor wondered.
There was not enough time for Su Mo’s devouring, because the Divine Martial Emperor rushed to him.
The fight here had been heard by the imperial palace and countless Divine Guards were gathering here.
When they saw the emperor fighting in person, no one dared to come forward, and everyone was watching from a distance.
Seeing the Divine Martial Emperor come, Su Mo jumped into the sky and rushed upward.
He didn’t want to run away, and he knew the Great would not let him go.
He wanted to buy some time to refine the Dark Force inside him and he was about to break through.
Su Mo pierced the space like a sharp arrow.
“Where are you going?”
Seeing this, the Divine Martial Emperor shouted and ran after him.
“Go to die!”
The Divine Martial Emperor attacked again and another finger radiance rushed to Su Mo.
This one was way stronger than the previous one, with mighty Dark Force, forming a longer and bigger finger.
It was like a pillar of Heaven, driving away all the white clouds in the sky.
“Rumble!”
And it poked a hole in the sky, crashing the space and hit down to Su Mo.

“Die!”
Su Mo huffed and shouted. He waved his Hornet Sword downward.
“Slash!”
The dazzling sword Qi shot from the sky like lightning and chopped the white giant finger.
Instantly, the sword Qi and the white finger collided together.
“Bang!”
This time, Su Mo was not able to crash the finger, instead, his sword Qi was crashed and turned into a sword rain all over the sky.
The next moment, the white giant finger charged toward Su Mo like thunder.
Su Mo could not dodge, so he blocked it with the Earthly Shield.
“Rumble!”
The finger hit the Earthly Shield and burst in an instant. Its wave blast Su Mo away.
Su Mo had to try to resist it.
However, he was still being pushed, but he was fine.
“Devour!” Su Mo stopped himself from moving backward and called out the Devouring Martial Soul.
The giant Devouring Martial Soul was like a huge vortex, dark and deep, floating behind Su Mo.
The scattering Dark Force around was summoned by the devouring power, running to Su Mo and being devoured and refined.
“How is it possible?”
The Divine Martial Emperor changed his face. He had already used 40% of his strength, but he still couldn’t kill Su Mo.
A Half Step to Martial King man could not be so strong.
The Divine Martial Emperor was shocked, so were the people who were watching.
The whole Divine Martial City was watching the battle.
There was a man who the Great could not beat.
What an incredible thing this was!
“You are actually trying to break through!”
The Divine Martial Emperor saw what Su Mo was doing in the air and he immediately understood.
This enraged the Divine Martial Emperor that Su Mo dared to absorb his Dark Force to break through.
“You will die on the next attack.”
He shouted and flew above Su Mo. He was going to clap him.
“Bang!”
Space shocked and the Divine Martial Emperor would try his best to kill Su Mo, so he condensed a palm of Dark Force.
The huge palm was in sky-size like a large mountain, falling down on Su Mo.
This palm was extremely horrible with mighty Dark Force. Its power covered a vast ground and destroyed everything beneath it.
The space shattered, so did the earth. The buildings in the palace were all constantly collapsing.
“Run!”
“Damn!”
“Run quickly!”
Seeing this, people in the palace were horrified and began to run. It was a chaos.

Fallout: Vault X
An original novel set in the Fallout universe, written to be accessible to all, featuring unique people and places. Vol.II. out now Fallout: Vault X tells the story of John. A vault dweller, who spent every day of his twenty five years underground. Like his father, and his father before him. Proud to live in the last remaining bastion of humanity, all that survived The Great War of the atomic age. Hidden deep below the surface of the earth, toiling under brutal conditions. Year after year, decade upon decade. All to expand into the natural cave system the Vault occupied, building for the future. However, John knew what his forefathers did not, that everything he’d been taught was a lie. After finishing school at the age of ten, John received his standard issue pipboy. An arm mounted personal computer, worn by everyone in the Vault. Used to coordinate the relentless pace of expansion, needed to work as an apprentice. To learn the craft that would be his life’s work. A noble calling to ensure a future for all that remained of the human race. A quirk of fate saw John equipped not with the crude, clunky, pipboy model his father wore. That almost everyone around him wore. His looked smaller, sleeker, finished in a jet black sheen. And capable of doing far more than its drab counterparts. The world above had been ravaged by atomic flames, yet life clung to its bones. The Red Valley fared better than most in the century since the bombs fell. The clean water and rich soil protected by rolling hills. All spared from direct strikes, for the most part. Life survived here. Trees spawned from charred ground, misshapen, green leaves turned red. Along with simple crops, grown wild at first, then cultivated by the survivors. The scavengers of the old world were inventive, hardy people. All determined to rebuild in the ruins of a world they never knew. In the decades that passed settlements emerged. They grew, spreading along the valley floor. Reclaiming the pre-war remnants of the once industrialised heartland. Salvaging the robotic wonders of a bygone age to build their walls and work their fields. To protect them in the dark of the wasteland. But such things are uncommon in this world, and the rarer something is, the greater its value. And the worth of pre-war technology had not gone unnoticed. The last, real, power in this world rested in the mechanised hands of The Brotherhood of Steel. Forged from the mortally wounded old world military. The Brotherhood used its access to the weapons made for a conflict no one won to strike out into the wastes. Men and women were equipped with advanced armour, aerial transportation, high grade weaponry. Accompanied by the training, strength, and will, to put them to use. They established chapters and set up outputs far and wide. All dedicated to a single purpose. To ensure the technology left abandoned by its long dead creators didn’t fall into the wrong hands. Namely, any hands that were not their own. This is the world John escaped into. A place of horrors brought forth from atomic fire. A place where survival meant battling against the darkness. Fighting a war each day to get to the next. And war...war never changes

How to Raise Your Dungeon
A dungeon core awakens for the first time. It knows nothing, it has nothing, but it can hear something. Voices, whispering, talking, and sharing. For now, they are distant. But it believes, if it proves itself, they may provide it with wisdom and direction. And so its slow but steady growth begins. Polls will come when the dungeon specifically wants to choose between a number of options, and believes it will receive an answer. However, it will "hear" any comments made on the most recent chapter, and these will shape its behaviour. It trusts you implicitely. This story is an exercise in stretching my creative muscles, so with each decision made, the options and opportunities open to the dungeon will change- some closing off forever. The dungeon will face threats periodically, and its fate in these encounters will be heavily influenced by your advice, though it will of course do its absolute best even without advice. It hardly wants to die. Heavily inspired by There Is No Epic Loot Here, Only Puns, though my approach to the concept is somewhat different from that work.
