Chapter 866: A New Record
Translator: Transn Editor: Transn
Everyone laughed heartily and looked at Su Mo as if he was a fool.
“Humph!” Bai Yin’er scoffed as her lips curled into a smirk.
She dismissed his arrogance entirely, and assumed that he was just a fool.
Su Mo had already broken the law by forcibly trying to leave Great Martial City. Once General Cheng captured him, she would show him who was the boss!
Bai Yin’er was curious to know the extent of Su Mo’s strength since now he had obviously shown that he was stronger than her.
She resolved to bring him back to the mansion to figure out the true extent of his strength after General Chen had captured him.
She might even be able to discover a powerful martial arts technique from him.
After General Cheng stopped laughing, he asked teasingly, “How bad do you think things are going to get?”
General Cheng ridiculed Su Mo; he was left speechless by this arrogant outsider.
“I will kill you!” Su Mo said coldly.
“Hm?” General Cheng laughed. “And who do you think you’re going to kill?”
“I’m sorry but your three breaths are up!” Su Mo said. His eyes were full of killing desire as he suddenly reached out to grab at General Cheng.
Rumble!
His Dark Force surged like a raging river and instantly formed a three-colored palm as large as a small house. This three-colored palm charged toward General Chen.
As the saying went, one would recognize a true expert by his actions.
The moment Su Mo sent out his Dark Force palm, its powerful aura could be felt all across Great Martial City. Everyone’s eyes widened when they saw its terrifying power.
“How…how could this be?” General Cheng stuttered. He felt his blood run cold and his hair stand on end as the Dark Force palm rapidly approached him.

This Dark Force palm was like an enormous mountain that came crashing down mercilessly on him. Its mighty power left him trembling in fear and he was unable to retaliate.
Roar!
As the Dark Force palm approached him, General Cheng let out a ferocious roar and reined in his fear as he slashed out toward the Dark Force palm.
Saber radiance shot up into the sky and the saber Qi was so sharp, it tore the space apart. It continued to shoot upwards and slashed ruthlessly at the Dark Force palm.
Boom!
There was a loud explosion as the saber Qi clashed violently with the Dark Force palm. Then, it immediately shattered, while the Dark Force palm remained unaffected.
The Dark Force palm only shook slightly, then it reached out and clutched General Cheng tightly in its grip.
Swoosh!
Su Mo gently pulled and dragged General Cheng to his side. He then wrapped his hands around General Cheng’s neck.
“Was I joking?” Su Mo asked coldly as he looked frostily at General Cheng.
“I…I…!” General Cheng stuttered, his face pale. His whole body had stiffened and he still was unable to recover from the shock of what had happened to him.
He was completely paralyzed with terror.
He never expected this outsider of True Darkness Realm to be so powerful!
Was this man truly just a True Darkness Realm martial artist?
The crowd fell deathly silent. It was not just General Cheng who had been left dumbfounded, the crowd was similarly bewildered by what they had just witnessed.
Their eyes were popping out of their head in astonishment.
Nobody had seen this coming! Never could they have imagined that the mighty General Cheng could be captured in just one move and be rendered so vulnerable!
Bai Yin’er was also completely astonished and her mouth fell open in shock.
She looked on dumbly at the scene in front of her. It was a long while before she managed to recover from her surprise.

“I had treated you kindly, but you have gone too far!” Su Mo said coldly. He flicked a cold glance at Bai Yin’er.
Hiss! Hiss! Hiss!
The crowd slowly started to recover from their shock and loud gasps could be heard all around.
“My God! Are my eyes deceiving me?”
“General Cheng could not even take one blow from him!”
“How could that be? How could this outsider be so powerful?”
“Unbelievable! This is simply unbelievable!”
The crowd burst into an uproar. Everyone’s faces were flushed and they all looked awe-struck by what they had witnessed.
No one in the history of Divine Martial Country had ever shown such incredible combat strength when it came to battling above one’s cultivation level.
Just how extraordinary was this man?
Martial artists of Martial King Realm cultivation in Divine Martial King Realm would be considered talented geniuses if they could battle one level above their cultivation, and peerless geniuses if they could battle two levels above their cultivation.
Peerless extraordinary geniuses emerged probably once every 10,000 years and they could battle three levels above their own cultivation.
Yet, this outsider had battled not just four levels about his own, but also battled someone an entire cultivation realm above him. Not just that, he managed to easily defeat his opponent in a single move.
He had broken all existing records in Divine Martial Country!
In a single move, Su Mo had rewritten their understanding of what a true genius should be like.
Oblivious to the shock he caused, Su Mo looked coldly at Bai Yin’er and said, “Miss, I’ll leave you with a warning. Stop trying to test my limits. I will not go easy on you just because you’re a woman!”
Dark Force spurted from Su Mo’s palm and shot into General Cheng’s body like countless razor-sharp swords.
“Ah!”
General Cheng screamed, and then his body went limp.
A great Lv 5 Martial King Realm martial artist was dead just like that.
Bam!
Su Mo flung his corpse aside and shot up into the heavens as he got ready to leave Great Martial City.
He did not attack Bai Yin’er not because she was a woman but he did not want the situation to worsen.
If he killed her, he would probably make himself an enemy of the entire city.
Naturally, even if the entire city attacked him, he was not afraid.
However, Great Martial City was backed by Divine Martial Country. If Divine Martial Country sent countless experts to kill him, he would be in trouble.
This was why he decided to let this woman off the hook. All he wanted to do was to find a place to cultivate quietly.
As Bai Yin’er looked at the departing Su Mo, her eyes were not filled with resentment, but admiration, as if she had discovered a precious treasure.
When she saw that Su Mo was about fly out of Great Martial City, she was suddenly gripped by anxiety.
“Boy, where do you think you’re going?” a shout rang out as a middle-aged man in purple rushed to the scene.
“Father!” Bai Yin’er cried out in surprise.
It was none other than the city governor of Great Martial City, Bai Tong.
“Boy, where do you think you’re off to after killing my beloved general?” Bai Tong shouted angrily as he charged toward Su Mo. He then threw a punch toward Su Mo.
Rumble!
Fist radiance exploded across the sky, causing the void to explode. The bright-white, dazzling fist radiance moved like a pillar of light as it pierced through the void and streaked ruthlessly toward Su Mo.

Mordheim: Servants of The Damned (A Warhammer Fantasy Fiction)
“The Great Library,” Stated the stranger with a pause. “You know of it?”“Of course I do. In the Merchant’s Quarter?”“Yes, in the Merchant’s Quarter. I have gathered that there is an… artefact of importance within its walls.” Slowly, the figure produced a rusted key from the furls of his robes and held it in a black-gloved hand. “This opens the door to its chambers. It is the grimoire of Gunnar von Krugenheim, and I believe that it would serve better in the world than locked away in a dusty room.” Behind the cursed walls of Mordheim, warbands and gangs of all stripes are embattled in constant wars for resources and power. The cursed city attracts throngs in the thousands, searching for treasures, artefacts, power, and sometimes all three. The Cult of the Hidden Brethren is no exception, and when an opportunity to extend their reach is discovered, the cultists are eager to take the opportunity. However, not all is set in stone, and soon the cultists discover that the lure of power alone may not be enough to give them the drive required to see their quest done... --- Mordheim: Servants of the Damned is a fanfiction set in the world of Warhammer Fantasy, which is not owned by me but by the company Games Workshop. I of course, lay claim to nothing in this story but the characters I have created, and the core events of the story itself. This is my first true foray into fantasy writing, let alone Warhammer Fantasy, therefore any feedback is welcome. (It should be noted as well, the cover art is merely an artwork I found online and is not mine, therefore I do not lay claim to that either.)
