Chapter 847: Earthly Shield
Translator: Transn Editor: Transn
Su Mo sent Wenren Tiandu back to Firmament Palace while Light One and the rest would arrange for him to be treated.
Su Mo, Gold One and Stone One came to the Firmament Palace.
“Dear Seniors, I’ve something to discuss with both of you!” Su Mo said as he placed his fists together and saluted the two puppets.
“Holy Son, please speak your mind!”
“Holy Son, you are too polite, you may give us your instructions!”
Gold One and Stone One said.
Su Mo pondered then said in a deep voice, “Dear Seniors, honestly speaking, Wenren Tiandu and I have many Spiritual Spirals as we cultivate the Archean martial practice. Furthermore, the number of Spiritual Spirals I have is several times of his. Hence, when I’m going to break through the Martial King Realm, the Martial King Realm Punishment will be extremely horrifying. I need to ask both Seniors if you have any powerful defensive treasure?”
As he watched Wenren Tiandu survive the ordeal, he became concerned about his own Martial King Realm Punishment. So, as a safety precaution, he had to be thick-skinned and ask for another one or two defensive treasures.
“Holy Son, how many Spiritual Spirals did you cultivate?”
Even if Gold One and Stone One knew Su Mo cultivated Archean martial practice, they were not surprised, because, during the ancient times, there were many from the Firmament Palace who had cultivated Archean martial practice with many Spiritual Spirals.
Some extremely talented disciples even cultivated more than 20 Spiritual Spirals.
“49!” Su Mo said.
“What?” Upon hearing Su Mo, Gold One and Stone One’s body shook, their already stiff expressions stiffened even further.
“Holy Son, you actually cultivated 49 Spiritual Spirals?”
“This…Holy Son, you are too rash!”
Both Gold One and Stone One burst in an outcry at once.
They thought Su Mo cultivated a dozen Spiritual Spirals at most, but never expected him to cultivate 49 Spiritual Spirals.
This was because, with 49 Spiritual Spirals, it would be almost impossible for him to break through to the Martial King Realm smoothly.

Even in ancient times, not many with 49 Spiritual Spirals were able to break through to the Martial King Realm smoothly.
“That’s why I’m asking for defensive treasures from both Seniors!” Su Mo sighed.
Gold One and Stone One remained silent as their expressions became solemn.
“Holy Son, you better let go of some Spiritual Spirals! Too many Spiritual Spirals can be extremely dangerous!” Gold One said.
“I’ll consider it!” Su Mo nodded. However, he won’t let go of his Spiritual Spirals unless he had to.
“Holy Son, are you going by the divine elixir path or combining the Spiritual Spirals path?” Both of them stared at Su Mo.
“Combining the Spiritual Spirals!” Su Mo said. He didn’t expect Gold One and Stone One to know so clearly about the Archean martial practice.
Both of them fell silent. This was the most difficult path!
During ancient times, many devilish talents died pursuing this path.
Shortly after, Stone One said in a deep voice, “Holy Son, only the Earth Palace Master can open the Firmament Palace treasury, we can’t give you any defensive treasures.”
Su Mo sighed. The Earth Palace Master was in deep sleep and he would only wake up when Su Mo enters the Martial Royal Realm. It seemed impossible for him to obtain any defensive treasures from Firmament Palace.
At this moment, Stone One said, “Holy Son, I still have one defensive treasure, which is supposed to go to the descendant of Earth Palace, but since he has not appeared yet, you can have it first!”
“Oh? What kind of treasure is it?” Su Mo was delighted.
Stone One waved his arm and a big shield appeared.
The shield was three meters tall and less than two meters wide. It was the color of yellow mud and light swirled across it. It looked extraordinary.
“This shield is called the Earthly Shield. Although the grade is not high and is only at Lower Royal, it is top in defense among treasures of the same grade.” Stone One said.

Swoosh!
Su Mo reached out and grabbed the Earthly Shield at once.
With the Earthly Shield in hand, Su Mo could feel its extreme thickness and heaviness. It was more than 500 kilograms, and the force of earth property surged within it.
“It’s a good shield!” Su Mo praised, then kept the Earthly Shield.
“Senior Stone One, I’ll keep this shield for now, I will give it to the descendant for Earth Palace when I find him!” Su Mo smiled.
“Alright!” Stone One nodded.
After that, Su Mocontinued chatting with Gold One and Stone One in the Firmament Palace.
The two puppets continued to persuade Su Mo to let go of some of the Spiritual Spirals, and keep only 20 of them.
Su Mo felt helpless, so he promised both of them verbally first, only then they would stop persuading him.
After which, Gold One and Stone One roughly explained to Su Mo the current situation in the Firmament Palace.
The Firmament Palace did not need anything else right now, except for people.
There were various powerful martial arts technique Legacies, powerful weapons and treasures available but no disciples to inherit them.
The puppets were all waiting, waiting for Su Mo to grow, to lead the Firmament Palace and recruit disciples from all over the world.
Su Mo chatted quite a while with Gold One and Stone One. Then, he decided to leave the Firmament Palace.
“Dear Senior, I’ll leave the Firmament Palace for a while. The day I return will be the day for the Firmament Palace to enter the world!” Su Mo said to Gold One and Stone One.
“Holy Son, please take care!” The two puppets placed their fists togehter at Su Mo.
“I will!” Su Mo nodded. Then, he suddenly thought of Sikong Yan, and said, “The descendant of the Firescorching Palace, Sikong Yan, did not really submit to me, please have Light One think of some ways to subdue him.”
Su Mo had urged them to do so because he was concerned that Sikong Yan would leave after obtaining the Legacy.
“Holy Son, don’t worry. The descendants of the nine palaces will leave behind a Soul Seal once they receive their Legacy and will be a member of Firmament Palace for eternity.” Gold One said.
“That’s good!” Su Mo nodded.
“Holy Son, we’ll send you out!” Both of them said.
After which, Gold One and Stone One took Su Mo and flew out of the Firmament Palace to the huge water curtain edge.
“Holy Son, you may use the token to open the link to connect to the outer world!” Gold One said.
Su Mo immediately took out the Holy Son token and infused Dark Force of the Five Elements in it.
A ray of golden light suddenly burst out of the Holy Son token, then a virtual door appeared where the golden ray shone.
“Seniors, see you again!” Su Mo placed his fists together in a salute to Gold One and Stone One and walked through the virtual door.
After Su Mo left, Gold One and Stone One looked at each other and their expressions rather solemn.
“49 Spiritual Spirals. Holy Son has chosen the toughest path of Archean martial practice!” Gold One sighed.
“If he can go through it, the Firmament Palace can rise again in time to come!” Stone One was looking forward to it.
Both of them knew Su Mo would not let go of his Spiritual Spirals so easily, even if he did, he would not give up too many of them.
However, Su Mo cultivated the Grand Chaos Five Elements Skill, so it was very hopeful that he could go through the path.
The more defiant Su Mowas, the better it was for the Firmament Palace.
If Su Mo was not defiant enough, he would not be fit to be the Holy Son and might not be able to handle the upcoming disaster.
“Aye! Time is running out, the Trial Tester is coming soon. A catastrophe is befalling the Firmament World!” Gold One sighed faintly.
