Chapter 803: Eternal loyalty
Translator: Transn Editor: Transn
Su Mo felt dizzy and did not know how much time had passed. All of a sudden, the world before him changed and the dizziness faded away. Su Mo appeared in an empty hall.
The hall was vast and magnificent, covering an area of several thousand feet!
Stone pillars made out of white jade stood tall as if they were lifting up the whole sky.
There were three huge doors located deeply down the hall. They looked like the giant mouths of Archean Fierce Beasts and led to unknown places.
Aside from those, there was nothing else in this magnificent hall.
A tall young man stood unmovingly in front of the three entry doors.
He was none other than Sikong Yan.
Sikong Yan had just arrived a few breaths earlier than Su Mo. He had not left because he was still observing the three doors.
“What?” Sikong Yan turned around as he sensed that someone was approaching. He could not help but frown when he saw that it was Su Mo.
He had not expected Su Mo would catch up to him so quickly.
Su Mo glanced over this magnificent and vast hall briefly and then flew towards SikongYan.
“WHOOSH!”
In a flash, Su Mo came before Sikong Yan and stood in his way.
“Sikong Yan, I think we need to talk!” Su Mo said with a smile.
“What are we even going to talk about? Get out of my way!” Sikong Yan’s expression darkened and he yelled at Su Mo coldly.
“You’ve misunderstood. I am not from the Netherworld Devil Sect, instead, they are my enemy!” Su Mo said with calm and low voice.
“Do you expect me to believe you?” Sikong Yan said scornfully. He saw and heard Su Mo claiming to follow Huangfu Qing voluntarily when they both were in Talents’ Grand Gathering. Wasn’t that a sign of joining Netherworld Devil Sect!
“If I were in the Netherworld Devil Sect, I would not come here in the first place!” Su Mo shook his head and said, “I’ve broken all ties with Huangfu Qing completely, and that’s why I fled to Central Continent from East Continent.”

“Is that so?” Sikong Yan shrugged his shoulders and did not comment. He could not care less whether Su Mo was telling the truth or not.
Seeing this, Su Mo sighed to himself. He and Sikong Yan had a long history and it would be difficult to resolve Sikong Yan’s resentment towards him and get him on his side.
“Sikong Yan, your Topmost Palace was destroyed, wasn’t it?” Su Mo asked after pondering for a moment.
Sikong Yan’s expression darkened and his eyes sharpened in an instant when he heard that. He said, “Yes, so what?”
Sikong Yan wasn’t furious before the Topmost Palace was mentioned. Now he just wanted to launch a strike.
“We can cooperate if you want to seek revenge!” Su Mo said.
“With you?” Sikong Yan sneered and said, “That would be like asking a tiger for its fur. Get lost, or don’t blame me for my rudeness!”
Sikong Yan wasn’t going to cooperate with Su Mo as he thought he was not desperate enough to work with the enemy.
Su Mo didn’t retreat after hearing that. Instead, he shook his head and said, “You are a natural Fire Spiritual Body. I could grant you a fire property Imperial Legacy, and it will be a superior Imperial Legacy!”
“What?” Sikong Yan was surprised upon hearing that. His eyes flashed but soon dimmed.
“Su Mo, are you talking nonsense?” Sikong Yan said sarcastically.
Sikong Yan didn’t know what to say. Su Mo was surely crazy to make up such a lie about a superior Imperial Legacy.
Regardless of whether there really was this level of Legacy in the whole Firmament World, how could Su Mo possess it even if it truly exists?
Moreover, even if Su Mo indeed had it, why would he hand it to someone else instead of cultivating it?
Sikong Yan was speechless, shook his head, and thought that Su Mo was bad at lying!
Su Mo saw that Sikong Yan didn’t believe him, so he stopped for a moment and wondered if he should tell him the truth.

The fact that he was the Holy Son of Firmament Palace must not spread. But Sikong Yan probably would not be such a big mouth even if he was told since he would be very interested in the Firescorching Palace’s Legacy.
At least, he would not go against Su Mo before getting the Legacy.
And Su Mo had a way to soothe him afterwards.
As such, Su Mo decided to tell Sikong Yan.
“Sikong Yan, you know about the Firmament Palace, don’t you?” Su Mo raised a question again.
Sikong Yan scoffed and remained silent, as he wanted to see what other tricks Su Mo was going to play!
Of course he knew about Firmament Palace. It was the overlord of the Firmament World in the ancient times. Only it was destroyed now.
“WHOOSH!”
Then, in the next moment, Su Mo flipped his hand around, and a light-gold token appeared on his palm.
The token was the Holy Token of Firmament Palace. Glittering with gold, it had nine signs including Gold, Wood, Water, Fire, Earth, Wind, Thunder, and Light.
The nine signs combined to form a profound principle. It was as if all the rules in this world were contained in this token.
“I am now the Holy Son of Firmament Palace and in charge of the whole Firmament Palace. Thus I can easily command the Legacies from all the nine palaces!” Su Mo said with a big smile.
“What? The Holy Son of Firmament Palace?” Sikong Yan was trembling inside and immediately focused on the token that appeared in Su Mo’s hand.
Sikong Yan was skeptical. Even though he had never seen the Holy Son token of Firmament Palace, the token in Su Mo’s hand looked genuine.
What’s more, Su Mo was also a monstrous genius. Would he fake a token to deceive others?
Sikong Yan narrowed his eyes slighty. Although he didn’t fully believe Su Mo’s story, deep down, he sensed that Su Mo might be telling the truth.
Su Mo smiled and said with a deep voice, “As long as you join the Firmament Palace and become one of us, I will take you to the Firmament Palace and receive the superior Imperial Legacy from Firescorching Palace.”
Su Mo wasn’t worried that Sikong Yan would rebel after receiving the Legacy since Su Mo had a way to soothe him.
“Oh? Really?”
Sikong Yan didn’t respond to that. He narrowed his eyes into a line as he was uncertain.
They two had had some conflicts before, but Su Mo was being so kind to offer him such a Good Fortune!
Sikong Yan thought quickly. He remembered everything that had happened between Su Mo and himself. Su Mo once promised to give him Good Fortune when they were still in the East Continent.
It seemed that Su Mo had already chosen him, and it couldn’t be more clear.
Sikong Yan now felt excited. He had originally come to the Waste Domain and Sky-burn Mansion just to seek a powerful Legacy.
But now, he could have a superior Imperial Legacy as long as he agreed. How could he not be interested!
If he could get a superior Imperial Legacy, it could possibly destroy the Cold-blood Hall or Netherworld Devil Sect in the future!
However, he felt uncertain about Su Mo. They two had always had conflicts. Why would Su Mo be so kind as to offer him such a Good Fortune!
“What do I need to do in return?” Sikong Yan asked in a deep voice moments later.
“Nothing but eternal loyalty to the Firmament Palace!” Su Mo said with a smile

He built and crafted with all his heart. Whether totemic nature magic, mechanical and alchemical factories, nanomachines, teleporters, alchemy, enchanting, mining, and farming, there were no ends. From the lowly stone age he moved reached levels of technology thought only imaginary and magic which made worlds quake. Things aren’t perfect though. Monsters and beasts fill the world, growing stronger by the day, a malignant force is ever present… And strange, bountiful ruins of all sorts remain scattered throughout the world, abandoned yet maintained by faithful servants. But what mattered most to Joey was the little black cube which not only redefined his worldview, but allowed him to transform the world into something utterly marvellous. The patreon linked to this account is not for this story. This story heavily focuses on crafting progression of both magic and tech, where in something is crafted to unlock a new resource or way to craft something better. Heavily influenced on games with such structure. As there is no backlog, chapter releases will be as written, which hopefully will be once a day but depends on progress made per day.
