Chapter 732: A Perfect Oppotunity
Translator: Transn Editor: Transn
“Shangguan Hao is going to marry Xi’er?” Su Mo thought dejectedly.
“Does Xi’er want to marry him? Or was she forced by Di Shi?”
Su Mo had no idea. He wanted to learn more from the neighboring conversation, but they quickly switched topics.
“Huff!”
Su Mo sighed. He had to get into Emperor Xuan Palace to figure out the truth.
If Xi’er wanted to marry Shangguan Hao, then there was nothing he could do but cut ties forever.
If Xi’er was forced by Di Shi to marry Shangguan Hao, Su Mo would do everything he could to prevent it.
Su Mo felt an acute sense of urgency. He was too weak, and if Shangguan Hao successfully progressed to the Martial Royal Realm, he would not stand a chance.
Suddenly, two young people strode into the hall.
They looked like siblings who were in their 20s. The man wore a black robe, and the woman wore a purple dress.
Su Mo’s eyes lit up. They were Emperor Xuan Palace’s disciples!
Su Mo could identify them by the blue jade pendants hanging on their waists, which he distinctly remembered Xi’er to be wearing as well.
Xi’er’s pendant had the word “Xuan” carved on it.
If Su Mo guessed correctly, these jade pendants were the jade identification badges for Emperor Xuan Palace’s disciples.
He scrutinized these two people and found the young man to be at Lv 5 True Darkness Realm and the young woman at Lv 4 True Darkness Realm.
How would he approach these two, build a friendship with them, and convince them to bring him to Emperor Xuan Palace?
The man and woman sat down at a table in front of Su Mo, ordering a few dishes and a jug of wine.

“Brother, 20,000,000 Upper Spiritual Stones is no small sum. It’ll be impossible for us to collect so much in such short time!” said the woman quietly to the man.
The young man in black sighed and said, “Sister, you know how rare long whips are. I’ve always needed one, and this Upper Lv 6 Chaotic Heaven Whip is perfect for me. It’s almost as powerful as an Emperor Divine Weapon.”
“But how will we find enough Spiritual Stones?” asked the woman.
“There are very few long whip users, so Sky-sea Pavilion can’t get rid of it so quickly. We only need 4,000,000 more Spiritual Stones, which I can definitely get in a few days.” said the young man deeply.
He was determined to get that whip. If he could not earn enough Spiritual Stones, he would have to rob someone.
Su Mo smiled coyly at their conversation.
It seemed that these two needed a weapon from Sky-sea Pavilion, but were unable to afford it.
Su Mo was delighted at this perfect god-given opportunity.
He said to the young man with a laugh, “My friend, there are millions of martial artists in Emperor Spiritual City who use all kinds of weapons. If you wait any longer, someone else might buy it first!”
The duo were stunned for a moment, and then the young man in black frowned and asked coldly, “Were you eavesdropping on us?”
“You’re only a couple meters from me, so how could I not hear what you said?” Su Mo shook his head.
The young man in black’s expression softened. They were indeed well within earshot of Su Mo.
“What do you mean I shouldn’t wait?” the young man in black whispered.
Su Mo chuckled and sat down at the siblings’ table.

“Honestly, I have ties with Sky-sea Pavilion. If you let me facilitate this purchase, you’ll only have to pay 70% of the original price!” Su Mo said with a smile.
“70%?” The siblings’ eyes lit up. They would already be able to afford the discounted price.
“Why are you so eager to help us?” the young man asked Su Mo skeptically, staring intently at him.
He was not stupid and knew Su Mo wanted something in return.
“Ugh!” sighed Su Mo. “To tell you the truth, I’ve always wanted make my family proud by becoming Emperor Xuan Palace’s disciple!”
Su Mo tried to look wistful.
“Do you want us to recommend you as a disciple?” The young man in black instantly understood his intention.
“Yes. If you can do me that favour, I’ll help you buy your whip,” Su Mo said with a nod.
“Alright, deal!” The man nodded immediately.
Su Mo was stunned by how easily he agreed. He thought that he had to try his best to persuade them!
Unexpectedly, recommending disciples to Emperor Xuan Palace was no big deal at all.
Of course, the siblings were only responsible for recommending him and could not help him with the entrance exam.
“Sir, let’s not waste any time and get straight to Sky-sea Pavilion!” The young man in black stood up hurriedly.
Su Mo was speechless and nodded. “Lead the way!”
Then, the siblings and Su Mo left the tavern for Sky-sea Pavilion.
Soon, they reached Emperor Spiritual City’s Sky-sea Pavilion and entered its Craftsmanship Pavilion.
Su Mo displayed his honorary craftsman badge and successfully got the siblings the discount.
Not long after, the three of them left Sky-sea Pavilion.
“Brother, don’t forget our agreement,” Su Mo reminded.
“Of course, let’s go to my sect now.”
The young man in black nodded. He was in a good mood after acquiring his dream weapon.
Then, he added, “By the way, I don’t know your name yet. Thank you so much for your help!”
“You’re welcome. I’m Mo Su,” Su Mo said with a smile, intentionally lying about his name.
After entering Emperor Xuan Palace, he could not use his real name, or he would run into trouble with Shangguan Hao!
“I’m Pan Qing. This is my sister, Pan Rou!” The young man in black introduced himself and his sister.
“Alright!”
Su Mo nodded and said, “Then, let’s go!”
“Yes!”
Then, the three of them left Emperor Spiritual City for Emperor Xuan Palace.
