Chapter 728: How Dare You?
Translator: Transn Editor: Transn
Gan Ling was struck dumb by Su Mo’s words, she looked at Su Mo as if he was a fool.
You must be crazy to ask the Pavilion Leader to meet you!
Gan Ling was left speechless!
Liang Tong was similarly dumbfounded and his face alternated between turning pale and crimson.
As he felt the gaze of everyone on them, Liang Tong wanted to drill a hole into the ground. This was just too embarrassing!
Liang Tong was even starting to regret his decision. He had thought that he would be able to have a better life if he chose to follow Su Mo, but he hadn’t expected Su Mo to be so arrogant.
Su Mo’s actions were just too foolish. Even if he had incredible talent, it would find it hard to grow up!
Everyone in the Craftsmanship Pavilion had turned to look at Su Mo, curious to know who had dared to ask the Pavilion Leader to see him.
Since Su Mo had only just arrived in Central Continent, no one recognized him.
“Who is this guy?”
“He speaks so shamelessly, he must be tired of living!”
“Is he from one of the powerful families? He must have never experienced life outside his family before. He seems to think that his status is higher than them!”
The crowd was all abuzz and some even laughed at the absurdity of Su Mo’s actions.
“Master, I’ll have to ask you to leave. If you’re here to cause trouble, I’ll call the guards!” Gan Ling said coldly. If not for that fact that she was concerned Su Mo may actually have someone powerful backing him, she would have already thrown him out.
“Has the Craftsmanship Pavilion always treated others so rudely?” Su Mo retorted expressionlessly.
His words irritated Gan Ling. This man had just come strolling up to the Craftsmanship Pavilion asking for the Pavilion Leader to meet him and now even turned around to say she was the unreasonable one!

He was clearly here to cause trouble.
“Guards, throw this person out!” Gan Ling shouted, her pretty face turning ugly.
Crash!
Five or six guards rushed in at her command and surrounded Su Mo and Liang Tong.
These guards all gave off the strong aura of a True Darkness Realm martial artist.
They looked at Su Mo coldly and the leader asked, “Will you walk out of this place of your own accord, or do you want us to throw you out?”
Liang Tong’s face was pale. He couldn’t believe that he, a Lower Lv 4 craftsman was about to be thrown out forcibly. This caused his heart to sink.
As he glanced at Su Mo, he couldn’t hold back his anger. This Su Mo really made his blood boil!
Su Mo shook his head and gave in to the inevitable, ready to reveal his identity.
“What’s going on?” a cold shout rang out as a middle-aged man in a grey robe walked down from the second level of the pavilion.
This middle-aged man was tall, his face serious. He was also a craftsman, and the insignia on his chest showed three golden lines below four furnaces, identifying him as an Upper Lv 4 craftsman.
“There should be no shouting and scuffles within the Craftsmanship Pavilion, what’s going on!” the middle-aged asked coldly as he approached Su Mo.
Gan Ling’s face turned respectful as she faced the middle-aged man. She pointed at Su Mo and said deferentially, “Master Wei, these two men had rudely demanded to see the Pavilion Leader, so the guards are about to throw them out!”
“Rude? How were they rude?” Master Wei asked with his brows furrowed.
The crowd saw Master Wei’s reaction and felt sorry for Su Mo. Master Wei was known to be very strict and protective of Craftsmanship Pavilion.
Things were not about to end well for Su Mo and his companion with Master Wei’s appearance!
“This man had arrogantly requested that the Pavilion Leader come out to meet him!” Gan Ling pointed at Su Mo.

Gan Ling’s eyes were full of derision. How dare this guy be so foolish to act so arrogantly here at Sky-sea Pavilion?
Gan Ling was not worried about if Su Mo had a powerful backing, because Sky-sea Pavilion itself was a superpower. Even the few chieftains from the larger families here at Qingyuan City had always been respectful here at Sky-sea Pavilion, let alone someone like Su Mo.
“He asked the Pavilion Leader to come out and meet him?” Master Wei’s face darkened and he looked coldly at Su Mo and said, “How dare you be so arrogant here in this place at your young age? You must be tired of living!”
“Guards, break their legs and throw them out!” Master Wei commanded harshly.
The crowd sighed secretly upon hearing his words. These two had irritated Master Wei, they’d be doomed today!
“At your command!” Dark force started to surge forth from the guards’ bodies as they surrounded Su Mo and Liang Tong, ready to break their legs.
“Uh…!” Liang Tong’s eyes were filled with fear. He was only of Lv 3 Enlightenment Realm and was completely helpless against these guards.
As he clenched his jaw and got ready to make a run for it, a sharp voice rang out.
“How dare you!”
The owner of this sharp voice stunned everybody. It was none other than Su Mo!
Su Mo was also incensed and his face turned cold.
“You’re just a mere Upper Lv 4 craftsman, how dare you show such impertinence!” Su Mo ignored the guards as he stared daggers at Master Wei.
This stunned the crowd once again and they stared dumbfounded at Su Mo.
How arrogant!
How could he call Master Wei a mere Upper Lv 4 craftsman?
Was he courting death?
Or was he backed by someone extremely powerful?
Gan Ling was so shocked by Su Mo’s words, her knees gave way and she almost fell to the ground.
How dare this man speak so disrespectfully to the esteemed Elder Wei!
Liang Tong trembled at Su Mo’s words, he was so upset that he nearly spat blood.
No one other than himself knew Su Mo’s identity and so he could tell that Su Mo was just putting on an act and had no powerful backer to speak of.
Furthermore, he was acting in such a foolish way. This was the fastest way to court death!
Master Wei was so stunned. His mind was a blank, then his face turned black the moment Su Mo’s words sank in.
“Young punk, who are you?” Master Wei looked at Su Mo coldly, a trace of killing desire cleared in his eyes.
However, he had to know Su Mo’s identity before he attacked.
Su Mo had been speaking so arrogantly and was already of Lv 5 True Darkness Realm cultivation in spite of his young age. He might really be someone extraordinary!
Su Mo’s face was cold. He then produced a golden iron token with a flip of his palm.
“Look at this yourself!” Su Mo threw the iron token at Master Wei.
Master Wei was puzzled but still reached out to catch the iron token. When he recognized what it was, his entire body shook.
The words “Honorary” were clearly engraved on the golden iron token.
Master Wei was struck dumb. He had never seen this iron token before in real life, but he knew that it was the badge that honorary craftsmen of Sky-sea Pavilion carried.
Furthermore, this was an honorary badge of the highest level.
Across Firmament and Continent, none of Sky-sea Pavilion’s sub-branches were allowed to recruit honorary craftsmen. Only their headquarters in Central Continent, as well as their headquarters in North, South, East and West Continent, were allowed to do so.
This just proved how prestigious that honorary craftsman badge was.

Tales of Ordinary, Completely Unremarkable Contractors
"Where life had no value, death, sometimes, had its price. That is why the mercenaries appeared." - Artur Xerxes, in A Century of Disappointment: Memoirs of a Travelling Dwarf It's never too difficult to land contracts for a set very specialised skills in a continent teeming with werewolves, vampires, giant leopards, undead and, god forbid, elves. The difficulty comes when these contractors find themselves suffocated in the dense atmosphere of this world's rigid - and mostly unfair - rules; death, suffering and misfortune await those unwilling to sacrifice to bend these in their favour. In this non-linear plot, you will observe a scarred and deformed farm girl cashing her first bounty posters, a seemingly ordinary barmaid at a tavern in the bustling centre of a sprawling, corrupt city and an enigmatic leader of a firm specialising in dealings any other would consider suicidal. Watch them all take everything to the next level at every available opportunity, and then feel dread at the thought that this still might not be enough to halt the physical embodiment of doom about to do what it does best Please, feel free to review and comment! Any sort of feedback can help me become a better writer and write more engaging stories for you. I used to update once every 3-5 days, but this rewrite is taking much too long...I do hope it will be worth it.
