Chapter 680: Giving GuidanceTranslator: Transn Editor: Transn
Whatever it took, he would take the challenge.
Swoosh!
Jun Wuxi flew out and landed on the square.
“I hope you don’t let me down,” said the man in black coldly, licking his lips.
Jun Wuxi ranked before him, but he became stronger now.
“No, I won’t,” replied Jun Wuxi calmly.
A light glowed in his hand, and next second, a long spear appeared. Light gold Dark Force worked on it.
Jun Wuxi recognized this man. He was called Mo Cheng and was only one place behind him on the list. He had to take this man seriously.
As they faced each other, their aura soared and clashed against each other in an invisible way.
The spectators stopped talking and focused on the upcoming fight.
The first two competitors were the talents ranking Top 500. It would be thrilling.
Whew!
Jun Wuxi took initiative. His spear shot out at Mo Cheng like a viper.
It was as fast as a bolt of lightning. In a split second, the spear cut through the air and charged at Mo Cheng’s chest.
Clang!
Mo Cheng’s hands were wearing a pair of metal claws, one of which easily parried the spear and the other of which marched to Jun Wuxi.
The claw glowered with cold sanguine light that gave out immense evil spirit.
Jun Wuxi instantly withdrew his spear to block the claw radiance.
Boom!
The claw radiance impacted on the spear and the two gave a loud bang. Jun Wuxi was pushed back several steps.
The first clash surprised many viewers. It seemed that Jun Wuxi was no match for Mo Cheng.
Closely following that, Mo Cheng launched more intense attacks.
The endless claw radiance and shadows loomed over Jun Wuxi.
BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!
Jun Wuxi reacted swiftly. The spear in his hand moved as agilely as a flying dragon. It precisely punctured every claw radiance and sent it to an explosion.

The White Jade Square was paved with white-phosphorus iron, a material that was more valuable than white jade. In addition, a formation was set up to reinforce the area.
Clang! Clang! Clang!
Boom! Boom! Boom!
They clashed many times. Mo Cheng had the upper hand now and his attacks became more and more fierce. Every claw radiance he launched was fatal and aimed at the vital parts of Jun Wuxi’s body.
Jun Wuxi retreated several times and was on the edge of the square now. He could see the pavilion only a few meters away from him.
“He was stronger,” Jun Wuxi murmured to himself.
Jun Wuxi put on a serious look now. His opponent’s strength was out of his expectation.
Buzz~
He released his Martial Soul. It also looked like a spear and was of Rank 1 Heaven Class.
His Martial Soul greatly boosted his power.
However, Mo Cheng sneered and released his Martial Soul as well.
It was a ferocious, gigantic lizard that hit Rank 1 Heaven Class.
They both summoned their Martial Souls to join the fight. Unfortunately, Jun Wuxi was still in great disadvantage.
His face turned sullen. Sweat oozed out of his forehead. “Am I going to lose the first fight?”
“No, never!”
No one in Celestialspirit Sect looked happy now. No matter what peak Jun Wuxi belonged to, he stood for Celestialspirit Sect now.
Losing this fight would undoubtedly damage Celestialspirit Sect’s reputation.
Su Mo frowned and pondered for a little while. He secretly motivated his Ghostly Magic Sight Martial Soul. His eyes gleamed with dim light and were fixed on Mo Cheng.
With the help of Ghostly Magic Sight, he learned where Mo Cheng’s weakness lay.
Su Mo could see inside his body and knew how his Dark Force run.
He gave a cunning smile and then telepathized Jun Wuxi.

“Fifth Senior Brother, aim at his left lower side. His left leg was injured and hasn’t fully recovered yet. His left arm is weaker than his right.”
As the Jun Wuxi heard it, he was left in astonishment. “How could Su Mo know Mo Cheng’s weakness?”
“It can’t be!”
However, at this critical moment, he immediately started to attack Mo Cheng’s left lower side as Su Mo said.
Boom! Boom! Boom!
The spear violently crushed three claw lights and was targeted at Mo Cheng’s left leg.
The sharp spear radiance pierced through the air and charged at Mo Cheng’s left leg.
Mo Cheng was alarmed. He hurriedly reached out his left claw to block the attack. The spear radiance and claw collided.
Boom!
A loud explosion forced Mo Cheng to retreat several meters.
“It worked!” Jun Wuxi exulted.
Instead of giving his rival any chance of relaxing, he violently launched more attacks.
All of them were aimed at Mo Cheng’s left lower side.
Boom! Boom! Boom!
Mo Cheng managed to shatter all the coming spear light. However, he was pushing backward and he was losing his calm.
The situation had a sharp turn. Now Mo Cheng was the one who had to fall back.
“Damin it!” Mo Cheng cursed as he quickly fell back, furious and confused.
“How could he know my weakness?”
His left leg had been badly wounded two weeks ago and had not recovered yet.
His left arm was less powerful than his right. This was his weakest point.
“How on earth Jun Wuxi found out all of them?”
Mo Cheng could not believe it. Except for his Senior Brother Xue Chan, no one could see his weakness, not even a Martial Royal warrior.
The spectators were dumbfounded. “How could the formidable Mo Cheng be overpowered by Jun Wuxi?”
“It happens too fast!”
Many Martial Royal experts darted a sly glance at Su Mo.
They knew Su Mo had telepathized Jun Wuxi.
They did not know the details but were sure that it was Su Mo’s words help Jun Wuxi turn the tables.
They could not help wondering if Su Mo had been giving Jun Wuxi guidance.
How could it be?
The Lv 4 Su Mo gave the Lv 6 Jun Wuxi guidance?
Moreover, How could Su Mo see Mo Cheng’s weakness?
None of them knew the answer.
Huangfu Qing slightly turned to glance at Su Mo, a flicker of meaningful look in her face.
Qian Xunyue also flashed a look at Su Mo, pondering over this.
Su Mo did not know his message to Jun Wuxi had caused a stir.
He smiled at the prospect of Jun Wuxi winning the first fight.
After launching more quick and fierce attacks, Jun Wuxi now completely suppressed Mo Cheng.

Delve
Summary – Level 1: Delve is an isekai litrpg that follows an average guy who just happened to wake up in a forest one day. He wasn’t summoned to defeat the demon lord or to save the world or anything like that, at least as far as he can tell. The only creature there to greet him was a regular old squirrel. Soon enough, he meets other people, only to discover that he can’t speak the language, and that not everybody immediately trusts random pajama-wearing strangers they met in the middle of the wilderness. Things generally go downhill from there, at least until the blue boxes start appearing. Delve is a story about finding your way in a new, strange, and dangerous world. It’s about avoiding death, figuring out what the heck is going on, and trying to make some friends along the way. It’s not about getting home, so much as finding a new one. Did I mention that there will be math? Summary – Level 2: Okay, but what are you in for, really? Well, this story is supposed to be realistic, or at least, as realistic as a fantasy litrpg can be. The main character doesn’t instantly become an all-powerful god and murder-hobo his way across the universe. Delve is, at its heart, a progression fantasy, but that progression is meant to feel earned. The numbers in this story actually mean something. Everything is calculated, and if you find a rounding error, I expect you to tell me about it. That said, if math isn’t your cup of tea, there is plenty more that the story has to offer. Characters are meant to feel real, and progression isn’t only about personal power; it’s also about allies, connections, and above all, knowledge. Figuring out how the system works is a significant theme. ... What, you want more details? Okay, fine, but this is going to get a bit spoiler-y. Are you sure? Yes! Really sure? I mean, this summary is practically half as long as the first chap– Now! Okay, okay! The main character becomes a magic user, but he takes a route that is not very popular in adventurer culture, namely that of a support. There is a full magic system with various spells, skills, and abilities, but our MC decides that aura magic is the way to go, and that the only stat worth investing in is mana regeneration. Most people at the Adventurer’s Guild think that this makes him a bit of a dumbass, but he’s playing the long game. We’ll see how that works out for him, won’t we? Because of his build, the MC levels up fast, at least compared to normal people. There are no cheats, though, and he is limited in other ways. There are some clear and pretty obvious downsides to his build. That’s what makes it fun, no? Morals? Our MC has them. Again, we’ll see how that works out for him. Realism, remember? Would you be okay with killing someone and looting their body? I sure hope not. POV? The focus is on the main character, but there will be occasional varying perspectives from people around him, or involved in the events related to the main plot. It isn’t going to jump all over the place. Tech is standard medieval stasis. No smartphones, but the MC does have a technical background. Computers and their programming might be involved. There might even be a bit of uplifting down the road, who knows? Anyway, it isn’t the focus. He isn’t going to invent the gun in chapter 1 and change the face of warfare. Romance is not a major focus. Friendships are more the name of the game, though there will be some characters in romantic relationships. There is exploration, though not as much of the geographical nature as you might expect. It is more about exploration of the system and the culture. The pace is slow and detailed, sometimes verging on slice-of-life. The action is meant to be realistic and grounded in the numbers, and it is intended to have meaning beyond simply punching things until they stop moving. The general tone of the story is grey, and some parts can get quite dark. People die. Sometimes, people with names, but not anywhere near GoT level. There is plenty of light, too, though, to balance the darkness. The world is dangerous, but overcoming that danger is why we’re all here, isn’t it? Anyway, if you’ve made it this far through the summary, you clearly like words. I hope you enjoy the story! Cover by Miha Brumec Summary Updated: 2020-06-14
