Su Mo simply ignored his words and continued to attack as he charged toward Hua Yuanhan.
He swung his sword, sending rays of four-colored sword Qi toward Hua Yuanhan.
Hounded by continuous attacks from Su Mo and the Spiritual Sword, Hua Yuanhan could only do his utmost to defend.
He waved his hands and layers of ice curtains appeared. They enveloped him, protecting him from the attacks.
Clang! Clang! Clang!
Boom! Boom! Boom!”
The Spiritual Sword and sword Qi continued to collide against the ice, sending shards flying. The ice started to crack.
However, Hua Yuanhan quickly fixed the ice wall by pumping frost air to seal the cracks.
Hua Yuanhan had grown stronger.
“I don’t believe your ice defense cannot be broken!” Su Mo roared. He approached Hua Yuanhan.
“Swoosh! Swoosh! Swoosh!”
Su Mo conjured three Phantom Avatars. They spread out and surrounded Hua Yuanhan.
“Buzz, Buzz, Buzz!”
The Sky-crushing Sword shook violently. Su Mo lifted it above his head with both hands. A dazzling beam of light shot upward toward the heavens and its mighty sword power rippled across the skies.
Su Mo’s body glittered with golden light. The shadow of the Archean Dragonesque Elephant appeared and roared into the sky.
“Destroy!” Su Mo roared. Rays of dazzling, powerful four-colored sword radiance appeared and shot straight toward Hua Yuanhan’s head.
This was his ultimate move. He had thrown all his physical and cultivation strength completely into this one move.
At the same time, the three Phantom Avatars acted in one accord and launched their most powerful attacks at Hua Yuanhan.
Four rays of sword radiance with destructive power aimed straight for Hua Yuanhan’s head.
“This..!” Horror was written all over Hua Yuanhan’s face. Su Mo’s move had caused all his hairs to stand on end. He had a sudden feeling that he was in grave danger.

“Freeze!” Hua Yuanhan shouted. An enormous amount of frost air burst out of his body, and his figure immediately froze.
He was completely walled up underneath thick layers of ice. This was his strongest defense.
The four bolts of sword light and the Spiritual Sword smashed hard against the Glacier Defense.
BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!
Ear-splitting explosions shook the entire ring. Ice shards flew everywhere; Qi strength exploded; the Spiritual Sword was sent flying; and the sword Qi from the three Phantom Avatars was destroyed.
Su Mo was forced back several steps.
Cracks quickly spread all over the ice shell.
Cocooned in his ice armor, Hua Yuanhan was also affected by the impact. All the color drained from his face and blood trickled down the corner of his lips.
“How could he be so strong!” Hua Yuanhan roared inwardly. The attack had not breached his icy defense but it caused him to sustain more internal injuries.
Hua Yuanhan quickly pumped out more cold air to seal the cracks in his Glacier Defense.
“Again!” Su Mo continued his frenzied attacks on Hua Yuanhan together with his three Phantom Avatars.
Boom! Boom! Boom!”
Sword radiance flashed and loud explosions rang out. Su Mo and his three Phantom Avatars continued to attack Hua Yuanhan.
“Crush! Crush! Crush!” Su Mo sent out hundreds of attacks in one breath. He showed no sign of stopping.
Cracks continued to appear and disappear on Hua Yuanhan’s ice shell.
Hua Yuanhan had turned as white as a sheet. Blood gushed out from his mouth, dyeing his ice shell red.
“Damn it!” he cursed Su Mo in his heart.
His internal injuries had only gotten worse under Su Mo’s continuous attacks.
Hua Yuanhan was now completely consumed by fear. His heart sank. He no longer had the strength to launch a counterattack.

If Su Mo continued to attack him like this, he was doomed to die!
“Even if I can’t break your ice defense, the impact from my attacks should kill you!” Su Mo growled.
Su Mo and his three Phantom Avatars continued their frenzied attacks.
Three hundred attacks!
Five hundred!
A thousand!
After a thousand attacks, Hua Yuanhan’s ice defense had turned into a block of blood-red ice.
Even the frost air he pumped out was red.
“It’s time to end this!” Su Mo said coldly.
He had noticed that the cracks on Hua Yuanhan’s Glacier Defense were no longer being repaired. This meant that Hua Yuanhan had completely exhausted his power.
“The final strike!”
Su Mo charged at the red ice shell. A dazzling four-colored sword radiance with unprecedented power landed against it.
Boom!
It finally shattered, sending bits of ice flying everywhere.
“Ah!”
Hua Yuanhan screamed. He and his ice shell exploded. His body parts scattered across the floor together with the ice shards.
“Phew!”
Su Mo heaved a sigh of relief. The battle had finally ended!
Silence fell upon the Death Arena as everyone stared at the scene before them, dumbstruck.
“Hua Yuanhan is dead?”
“Su Mo won?”
They were unable to believe what they had just witnessed.
One breath!
Two breaths!
Five breaths!
It took them ten breaths before they rose to their feet.
The whole Arena was abuzz.
“Oh my, what did I just see?”
“Hua Yuanhan is dead! A talent ranked 400th on the List of Top 1,000 has perished!”
“No way!”
“Su Mo launched the ultimate comeback!”
“Su Mo is truly invincible!”
“He’s the type of talent only seen once in a thousand years. No, in ten thousand years!”
The crowd burst into an uproar, the commotion could be heard all across Sky Devil City.
Everyone stared at Su Mo with admiration and respect, no matter their level of cultivation.
Up in the referee’s stand, even Elder Lin, a Martial King expert, stared at Su Mo with admiration.
Everyone was completely impressed by Su Mo’s talent and strength!

Book 2 will still make sense without them - I made sure of that. But... isn't $3 a lot for extra chapters? Think of it as tipping me for a good job and you'd also be getting my eternal thanks. If you enjoyed it so much that the idea of missing out a few chapters haunts you, I did my job as an author and made an engaging story. What's in those extra chapters? Resolving a few issues, set up for the cybernetic revolution, a rather intense sex scene with a new partner, revelations of who's really pulling strings, and a bit of set up for book 2. Complaints that people missed out on it when it was published here won't help (sorry!). I posted this for the folks who helped me shape the book, which is you all! (Again, yay!) But... Why! Why not keep it all on RR forever? My editor likes being paid for one. For two, I'd like the ability to get broader readership. If I break even on editor costs, I'll be incredibly happy. What about book 2? Drafts for Book 2 will go up around Sept 10. My draft of Book 2 is done, and it will be handed to the editor once Book 1 is published. Feedback has been even more positive. Beta readers devoured it and wanted more. I'll add a link to Book 2 once it's up on RR. I'm more or less, using you all for Beta Readers, so you get it before it's "canon" and edited. I invite active and meaningful feedback during this process. In return, you get early access to chapters. That does mean that the book content or plot might be adjusted before it gets published as I refine it. Sex Y/N? Yes. I heard the feedback, 90% wanted it explicit. You all will get the "full" experience. Will I dump all of book 2 here? Honestly, I'm not sure yet. At a minimum, it'll be up to the 75% mark as we collect feedback, much like what I did with book 1. It really depends on how good the feedback is and how nice people are. Lots of support + meaningful feedback to make it better = higher likelihood you get all the book. Will be it up here indefinitely? No, it'll probably go up on KU at some point, but I'll make sure there's enough time for a large readership to grab it here. Then we move to book 3 which already is around 60K words already. What about other adventures in the same universe/characters? Yep. Absolutely. Nothing ready to share yet though. I plan to keep those side chapters and more slice of life stories as RR exclusive. Since I'm carving this off in book-sized segments, I'll have to figure out where those disconnected story arcs belong. I'm open to suggestions.
