Chapter 631: Devilish Land
Translator: Transn Editor: Transn
The jade slip contained more than 10,000 names, but most of the people had already turned to ashes.
There were less than 200 people remaining.
The jade slip also recorded their identity and strength level.
The strongest among them was Di Shi. He was the sect master of Emperor Xuan Palace in the Central Continent, and also Xi’er’s father.
There were two other people at the Martial Royal Realm, and both belonged to the seven major powers of the East Continent. One was with Dark Domain’s Stars Swordplay Sect, while the other was with the Ninth Heaven Sect of Cloud Domain. Both held the position of highest elder.
Most of the others were either at the True Darkness Realm or Martial King Realm, and belonged to different sects.
“Hmm?” Just then, Su Mo spotted two names that left him slightly stunned, for they were both on the List of Top 1,000 Talents.
One of them was Sikong Yan!
Sikong Yan had received the Legacy of Fire Palace and was an official disciple of Firescorching Palace.
Su Mo was a little surprised. He had not expected Sikong Yan to also be a disciple of Firmament Palace, but it made sense given that he was born with a Fire Spiritual Body.
The other was Wenren Tiandu, ranked first on the List of Top 1,000 Talents .
Wenren Tiandu had received his Legacy from the Illuminious Palace where he was also a disciple.
“I wonder what the relationship is between Wenren Tiandu and Wenren Tianyi,” Su Mo thought to himself.
He remembered that in addition to himself, there was a man named Wenren Tianyi who had been accepted alongside Hong Qingxuan by Firmament Palace. This person was most likely related to Wenren Tiandu. They might even be brothers!
“Sikong Yan and Wenren Tiandu must be the young talents the Gold One mentioned!” Su Mo thought.
There was no need to further expound on their talent. Especially now that they had received Legacies from Firmament Palace, they were indeed suitable descendants of Firescorching Palace and Illuminious Palace.

However, no matter how talented they were, or how well-suited they seemed, the final decision lay in Su Mo’s hands.
If a person had no integrity, or if Su Mo did not like them, they would be eliminated regardless of their talent.
For example, Sikong Yan was like a wild horse. If he could not tame him, he would give up on him completely!
Su Mo studied the jade slip again, reading through the details of the 200 disciples. He shook his head helplessly.
These people might have been strong, but he did not have the time or energy to be bothered with them. At the moment, he had to focus all his energy on increasing his strength.
These people would only pledge their allegiance to the Firmament Palace and to him if he was strong enough. They would flock toward him naturally without him even asking, so there was no need to worry at such an early stage.
He put the jade slip away and started cultivating the Nirvana Cultivation Method.
…
Time flew. Ten days passed in the blink of an eye.
Inside the Divine Map—
A loud roar sounded as a large purple serpent flapped its wings and flew across the sky.
Su Mo looked at Lil Eight with a smile.
Lil Eight was now a Class 2 Lv 5 Demonic Beast. It gave off an incredibly mighty aura.
Lil Eight had devoured a True Darkness Realm craftsman, followed by three Lv 5 demonic beasts before reaching a new stage.
The three Lv 5 demonic beasts had come from inside his spiritual beast bangle.
There were 300 Lv 5 demonic beasts inside his spiritual beast bangle at the moment, of which the strongest was Class 5 Lv 5, a very powerful demonic beast indeed.
Su Mo did not plan on taming them anymore. Once he fortified his cultivation, he was going to devour them all.
This would save him a lot of spiritual stones.
Su Mo smiled. He left Lil Eight within the Divine Map’s Space and returned to the outside world.

He had promised to see Hong Qingxuan and Li Feng today.
Two hours later, Li Feng arrived, followed shortly by Hong Qingxuan.
“Brother Su Mo, this is…?” Hong Qingxuan had never met Li Feng.
“Qingxuan, this is Li Feng, my good friend!” Su Mo said, smiling.
Then he introduced Hong Qingxuan to Li Feng, “This is Qingxuan, my best friend!”
Li Feng and Hong Qingxuan greeted each other with a nod and a smile.
They both understood that the other had Su Mo’s trust.
“Alright, let’s head off!” They leaped out of Towering Sky Peak and headed toward the sky.
Li Feng couldn’t fly so Su Mo used his Qi strength to carry him along.
Huangpu Qing sat cross-legged in the master seat of Towering Sky Peak’s main hall, his body gleaming golden.
He looked up with a gaze that could pierce a hole through the wall and stared at their departing backs contemplatively.
After they left Celestialspirit Sect they headed south.
Before long, they had flown 16,000 kilometers.
Su Mo had been keeping an eye behind him. Now that he had thoroughly offended Holy Sky Peak, he was worried they would send people after him.
He only relaxed when he realized that after 16,000 kilometers, no one was on his tail.
“Qingxuan, where are we headed?” Su Mo asked Hong Qingxuan.
She thought for a moment, then replied, “Lets head for the Goshan Mountains! There are many ancient ruins there.”
Su Mo thought about it, and then shook his head. Treasure hunting within ruins was too passive.
The chances of obtaining treasure were very slim, and they would need to spend a lot of time hunting for one. His objective right now was to earn as many Spiritual Stones as he could, so treasure hunting within relics was not a good idea.
“Is there anywhere that has a betting ring, or somewhere evil powers run amok?” asked Su Mo.
A betting ring would be the best way for Su Mo to earn Spiritual Stones. He had earned a considerable sum from Skymoon Country’s Four Seas Arena back in the day.
As for places controlled by evil powers, obviously he would ransack the place and loot them all. This would make him even richer than challenging at a betting ring.
“Betting ring? I’m not too sure about that!” Hong Qingxuan shook her head. “However, there is a place controlled by an evil power – Devilish Land!”
“What kind of place is it?” Su Mo’s curiosity was piqued.
“Devilish Land connects four domains together, namely Dark Domain, Blackdragon Domain, Cloud Domain and Thunder Domain,” she said. “It is a place where chaos reigns!”
“Great! Let’s go!” Su Mo was elated. That was where he wanted to go.
“Brother Su Mo, are you sure?” Hong Qingxuan’s face turned serious as she cautioned, “There are many evil powers dwelling in Devilish Place. It has descended into a place where all things vile run rampant. The worst kinds of characters gather there. It is very dangerous!”
“Oh, what are the major powers there?” Su Mo asked.
“It is said that there are many major powers in Devilish Land. They may seem tiny in comparison to Celestialspirit Sect, but they also have powers with a Martial King Realm martial artist as their leader.
“Don’t worry!” Su Mo shook his head and smiled. “Let’s go to Devilish Land!”
Su Mo’s bold and daring plan was to loot Devilish Land dry. As long as he did not meet any Martial King Realm experts, no one would be able to hold him back.
They redirected their route and headed toward Devilish Land.
