Chapter 604: Craftsmanship Contest
Translator: Transn Editor: Transn
Su Mo was secretly amazed that the weapons could fetch such a good price.
The last time he crafted Lower Lv 4 weapons, he had lost a lot of money instead of making a profit.
Of course, he had not been thinking about profit at the time, so he sold them at half-price.
This time though, he managed to sell the weapons for over 20,000 Upper Spiritual Stones, while only spending roughly 3,500,000 Medium Spiritual Stones on the materials.
3,500,000 Medium Spiritual Stones was equivalent to just 3,500 Upper Spiritual Stones.
This meant that Su Mo was making a 700% profit from this batch of weapons.
This was a huge profit margin!
Su Mo was shocked that he could earn so much money just by crafting weapons.
He would need to change his plans.
He had originally planned to cultivate by devouring demonic beasts in a densely populated mountain range once he sold the weapons.
However, now that he realized being a craftsman was such a good way to get rich, he decided to continue crafting weapons.
After all, killing demonic beats took up a considerable amount of time. Most of the time would be spent hunting them down since they did not gather at the same place!
“What’s wrong? Are you dissatisfied with the amount?” Elder Wang was confused when he saw Su Mo silent for such long time.
“I’m satisfied! I’m definitely satisfied!” Su Mo laughed and nodded. 80 Upper Spiritual Stones per Upper Lv 4 weapon was a good price, almost on par with the market price.
“I have several other items for sale as well.” Su Mo said, taking out some of the items that belonged to Nie Yu.
Nie Yu may have had other storage rings, but the one that Su Mo had taken contained a few Lv 5 long swords and Lv 5 martial arts techniques.

Elder Wang calculated the price of all the items. “Young friend, Su Mo, the items are worth a total of 31,160 Upper Spiritual Stones.”
Su Mo nodded and took out the Sky-sea Pavilion’s Blackiron VIP card. “Elder Wang, I’m a VIP cardholder, so can the price…?”
Elder Wang smiled and replied, “With the Blackiron VIP card, I’ll add 10%. Your goods total roughly 34,300 Upper Spiritual Stones.”
“Haha! Thank you, Elder Wang!” Su Mo expressed his gratitude and soon received the payment of 34,300 Upper Spiritual Stones from him.
“Elder Wang, since we’re done here, I’ll go!” Su Mo held the Spiritual Stones and stood up to leave.
“Young friend, Su Mo, just a moment please!” Elder Wang suddenly stopped him.
“Elder Wang, is there a problem?” Su Mo asked, puzzled.
After some contemplation, Elder Wang asked in a deep voice, “Young friend, were you the one who crafted the 300 odd weapons?”
Elder Wang was very perceptive. He could tell with one look that these weapons had been freshly crafted by the same person.
Hence, he guessed that Su Mo had crafted them.
“Yes!” Su Mo nodded, not intending to lie about it.
Elder Wang was completely stunned. Not only did he possess peerless talent and superhuman combat strength, he was also an Upper Lv 4 craftsman!
This was just too shocking!
Elder Wang said with a smile, “Young friend, Su Mo, the Sky-sea Pavilion will be hosting a Craftsmanship Contest in Wuling City in two weeks. You should take part in the contest.”
“Craftsmanship Contest ?”
Su Mo’s eyes lit up immediately, and he asked, “What’s the reward?”
Su Mo cared for nothing but rewards. He couldn’t help it; he was in need of money!

“Uh!” Elder Wang was startled. Su Mo’s shining eyes left him speechless. It was not befitting of a peerless talent to speak like this.
However, Elder Wang did not comment on it. He thought for a while, then replied, “There are no rewards, but the top 10 contestants will become the Sky-sea Pavilion’s Honorary Craftsmen.”
“Honorary Craftsmen?”
Su Mo’s brows creased slightly when he heard Elder Wang’s words. An empty title without any rewards was useless to him. He was after Spiritual Stones!
“Do Honorary Craftsmen enjoy any benefits?” Su Mo continued to ask.
Elder Wang’s lips twitched at Su Mo’s question. The only things Su Mo seemed to care about were rewards and benefits. How greedy was he?
He had wanted to recruit Su Mo because of his talent, hoping that the Sky-ea Pavilion would be able to benefit from his success in the future.
Now, he was slightly regretting his earlier decision. Someone as greedy as Su Mo would not be very helpful to the Sky-sea Pavilion!
“Once you become a Sky-sea Pavilion’s Honorary Craftsman, you’ll enjoy a 30% discount on any purchase from the Sky-sea Pavilion.”
Elder Wang sighed and continued, “You will also enjoy tremendous benefits from the Sky-sea Pavilion if you sell or auction your treasures or weapons you’ve crafted here. You may even get to attend the lecture conducted by our pavilion’s master craftsman.”
“Oh?”
Su Mo’s eyes lit up as he started to consider his options.
He was definitely going to continue on his path as a craftsman, so he would need to buy materials and sell weapons frequently. If he could become an Honorary Craftsman, he could reap tremendous benefits from it.
Su Mo quickly made up his mind.
“Elder Wang, could you tell me where Wuling City is?” he asked.
“It’s not too far away, just 40,000 kilometers to the south. That’s where our Sky-sea Pavilion East Continent headquarters are located.” Elder Wang replied.
“Thank you, Elder Wang. I’ll be leaving now then!” Su Mo nodded and clasped his fists at Elder Wang. Then, he left the Sky-sea Pavilion.
Su Mo did not waste any more time in the city. He flew directly to the south.
He was making his way toward Wuling City for the Craftsmanship Contest. The benefits were too great to ignore.
Once he became one of the Sky-sea Pavilion’s Honorary Craftsmen, he could purchase cheap ingredients and make money quickly. Everything would be in his favor.
At the very least, he would have a stable source of income. He would not have to rob anyone and risk sullying his reputation!
Wuling City was 40,000 kilometers away. This distance was nothing to him.
He rushed toward his destination and arrived in Wuling City in two days.
When Su Mo saw the city from afar, he was completely stunned.
He had never before seen a city this large and majestic.
The city was several hundred kilometers wide and resembled a crouching Archean Giant Beast. The city wall, thousands of meters high, was dark as ink and stood between heaven and earth like a mountain.
It was imposing!
Although Su Mo was still dozens of kilometers away from Wuling City, he already felt its imposing aura.
“I would have expected nothing less from the city where Sky-sea Pavilion’s headquarters are located. It’s truly astounding!” he exclaimed and descended from the sky.

The Dawn of Blood
As the saying goes, "Ignorance is bliss." That is a good way to describe us. We are constantly seeking to improve, to evolve. Coming up with laws and theories to better understand the world around us. But what if it was all for naught. What if what we think is truth is nothing more than the actions of higher beings, far beyond our reach. Upon the discovery of an entire new reality, remaining ignorant is certain death. The only way to live is to grow, to evolve, to adapt. This is my first novel so any feedback and criticism is greatly appreciated. I hope that I'm able to grow as a writer through this and hope that people enjoy my work. Credit for the cover image goes to Richard Luong. Check him out at https://tentaclesandteeth.deviantart.com.

A Dungeon Tested
Its a hard life balancing all the things a successful dungeon should be doing. Will our newest addition to the dungeon race even survive let alone make it to the top where dungeons such as the megafauna roam? Or will our main character suffer in the dust till some inauspicious and ignoble death at the end of some F-rankers sword? Note this is me having some fun while I wait for new releases of dungeon stories. Feel free to comment on that basis. I will be keeping the first few chapters slow so as to give me plenty to build upon later. I have tentatively given this the gore tag for now. With that in mind "Let the games begin".

Meet Corn, a slave who has no memory of most of his past and doesn’t know how most of the world functions. This doesn’t stop him from escaping the bonds of slavery by risking his life on a gamble. After all, he would risk everything for freedom and the right to be a mage. But how’s a scrub to learn Magic and get power? Why, join the magical under belly of the city, of course. And eat all the mana that he can get. Two Disclaimers: 1) This is a work of fiction. Any characters, places, organisations and everything else in this novel are fictional. Any resemblance between anything in this novel and the plane of reality we live in is purely coincidental. Was that a bit over the top and a wee bit unnecessary? Maybe. 2) This story features an antihero with a slight hint of villainy. So, sooner or later, it’s going to get dark. Very dark. Hence all the tags. If you are prone to be squeamish, this might not be for you. Well. You were warned. ;)
