Chapter 601: Are You Convinced?
Translator: Transn Editor: Transn
Boom!
The blades clashed with a deafening bang, and the resulting air blast quickly swept across all directions.
Soon after, Nie Yu’s figure was seen hurtling through the air like a meteor.
Swish!
He travelled at lightning speed and in seconds, he had hurtled out of Great World City and Famous Mountain, finally landing with a crash some 2,500 kilometers away from the city.
Boom!
As he crashed heavily on the ground, the earth beneath him collapsed and he fell into the resulting pit.
The whole of Great World City grew silent, and all in it were stunned as they watched this scene in disbelief.
Nie Yu couldn’t even handle one strike from Su Mo?
That… was just too incredible!
They were completely dumbfounded! What were the limits to Su Mo’s combat strength?
Su Mo had not even attained True Darkness Realm yet. How much more amazing would he get once he advanced to the next realm?
Su Mo’s expression did not change. At his current level, defeating Nie Yu in one strike was no big deal.
Swoosh!
Su Mo swiftly flew toward the area where Nie Yu had landed.
Nie Yu’s landing had created a crater with a radius of 6 meters.
“Come out!” called Su Mo coldly, as he stood above the crater. He knew that Nie Yu was alive for he had controlled his strength well and had not displayed his full power.
As a body-refining expert, Nie Yu must have been physically strong. The most Su Mo’s attack could have done was to inflict slight internal injuries on him, but it would not have killed him.
Violent coughs could be heard from the crater and Nie Yu soon flew out.
The moment he landed, Nie Yu could taste the metallic tang of blood in his mouth, be forced it back down.
Nie Yu looked extremely disheveled. His clothes were shredded into pieces and his whole body was powdered with dust.

“Do you admit defeat?” Su Mo chucked and said, “Hand over the 30,000 Medium Spiritual Stones!”
Nie Yu glared at Su Mo sullenly. His eyes burned with resentment.
“I will not!” cried Nie Yu.
He suddenly struck out with his sword, slashing straight at Su Mo.
This strike was incredibly fast and Su Mo was not far away from Nie Yu to begin with, so the sword radiance was before Su Mo in a matter of seconds.
The piercing sword radiance caused his skin to ache before it even reached him.
“You think too highly of yourself!” said Su Mo, as he lifted his sword to parry the coming attack.
Clang!
As Nie Yu’s sword met Su Mo’s with a loud metallic clang, Su Mo did not move an inch. Nie Yu, however, was thrown back dozens of steps.
“Give up!” Su Mo roared as his Sky-crushing Sword emitted a dazzling sword radiance.
He slashed out three times with the Sky-crushing Sword radiance.
Three bolts of sword Qi charged at Nie Yu and sealed off his escape routes.
Nie Yu hastily retreated, not expecting Su Mo’s attacks to be so powerful. These three rays of sword Qi caused his blood to freeze.
Swoosh! Swoosh! Swoosh!
Even as he retreated, Nie Yu continued to strike out, his sword now becoming a fast-moving blur. His strikes whistled sharply through the air.
Despite his best efforts, he could not block Su Mo’s attack.
He was thrown back for the second time in a row, and blood trickled down his mouth.
The crowd watching from Great World City on top of Famous Mountain could not help sighing at the sight.
They were not even remotely of the same level! Su Mo’s strength far surpassed Nie Yu’s.
“Are you convinced?” Su Mo asked coldly as he looked straight at Nie Yu.
“I am not!” Nie Yu snarled. He must have used some sort of secret skill for his aura immediately surged by 50-60%.

None of these affected Su Mo the least. Su Mo attacked again and three even more powerful rays of sword Qi came from his sword.
Boom!
To no one’s surprise, Nie Yu was thrown back another several hundred meters and blood spurted from his mouth, staining the sky with red.
“Are you convinced?” Su Mo asked once again.
“No!” Nie Yu roared back.
Nie Yu was angered beyond words. He had never suffered such embarrassment in his life. Here was he, a peak Lv 3 True Darkness Realm martial artist getting beaten to pulp by a martial artist of Enlightenment Realm.
“Still not?” Su Mo sneered. Nie Yu was clearly helpless against him but he still refused to admit defeat!
“Fine, I’ll just continue attacking until you admit defeat!” said Su Mo with a cold smile.
Su Mo shot up into the air and flew directly above Nie Yu.
Swoosh! Swoosh! Swoosh!
Rays of sword Qi shot down at Nie Yu like bolts of lighting carrying great destructive power.
Boom! Boom! Boom!
Explosions rocked the area as a violent air blast swept across the surrounding areas. This caused the soil to shoot upward, which and then be destroyed by the sword Qi.
The area was unrecognizable after the attacks, and a large crater had formed.
Nie Yu lay in the depths of the crater like a dead dog. Dozens of sword marks crisscrossed across his body, revealing the bone beneath his flesh. Blood poured out from his mouth.
Su Mo had held back. Had he not, Nie Yu would have been dead ages ago!
Swoosh!
Su Mo reached out and his hand transformed into a gigantic palm, grabbing hold of Nie Yu.
“This should be enough, right?” Su Mo asked with a chuckle.
Nie Yu glared at Su Mo and gritted his teeth. He emphasized each word as he said, “I’m… not… convinced!”
Su Mo was speechless. Nie Yu was already in such a state and still refused to admit defeat!
Su Mo then sneered and said, “Since you refuse to admit defeat, you’ll have to pay more!”
Su Mo plucked Nie Yu’s storage ring off his finger, looked through its contents, then hid it away with a satisfied smile.
“Su Mo, how could you… pfft!” Nie Yu was furious. Just as he was about to curse Su Mo, a large amount of blood spurted out from his mouth.
Nie Yu had sustained extremely serious injuries. He might be a Body-refining Expert, but he could not handle Su Mo’s attack.
“Alright. We’re done now!” Su Mo threw Nie Yu aside like a rag doll.
He then rose up in the air and flew away.
Su Mo did not return to Great World City for there was no longer any need to.
Now that he had earned a number of Spiritual Stones, he would need to find a place where he could advance to True Darkness Realm.
His strength would surge again once he attained True Darkness Realm.
Furthermore, after he attained True Darkness Realm, it would not be long before he could head toward Central Continent.
“I’ll defeat you one day!” Nie Yu shouted at his departing back.
Su Mo continued his journey and barely paid any attention. He soon disappeared from sight.
It was a long while before the crowd in Great World City came back to their senses.
Had that been Su Mo’s true power?
He truly lived up to his title as a peerless genius, one that managed to make the List of Top 1,000 Talents at Lv 9 Enlightenment Realm. He was really arrogant!
No one across East Continent would be able to surpass his ability to battle martial artists of a higher level.

(DEMO) Colorless vol.1- Phantamoire Enigmata
This is a demo volume consisting only seven chapters. The sole reason of this publication is to show the world a glimpse of the project. Therefore, the final quality of the product will be lot more refined and polished. This demo might get deleted from RoyalRoad after the actual publication. Synopsis: "Knights wearing their shining armor serving righteous justice riding their glorious horses." We all have heard that story- Heroes who do the right in the purest way without any tampering. But, is it really that easy? Is the world and it's heroes really that pure? After all... fairytale is just a lie. I might be the first author in the world who despises writing. I haven't read any story books or novel in my entire life but children's story book (not even ten of them). So, why do I write? Simple answer- the story. Inexperienced I may be but I believe my project and it's quality. The actual story will be posted somewhere in 2019. The story will be devided into 7/8 volumes and 90 (approx.) chapters. I have been working on this project for 1 year now. It took me 5 months to finalize the concept and plot, 7 months for the story and it's already been 6 months in writing along with 2 times of total revamp.
