Chapter 524: Spiritual Sword Exercise
Translator: Transn Editor: Transn
The formidable Xiao Xuanyi ignited Su Mo’s fighting desire, which became like surging, boiling lava.
A fiery radiance glowed on Su Mo’s back, and then the Red Flame Wings appeared and fluttered vigorously.
“Die!”
With an indifferent battle cry, Su Mo thrust toward Xiao Xuanyi with his sword.
His speed of movement was extremely fast as if he was trying to pierce through the firmament.
But Xiao Xuanyi dodged his move quickly.
“Die!”
“Frenzy Stars Spear Play!”
Xiao Xuanyi’s spear burst out a dazzling radiance, and he thrust out the spear ferociously. Suddenly, rows of spear radiance rained through the void.
He thrust out again and again, and infinite spear radiance kept spurting out from the spear, pouring the rain of radiance on Su Mo.
Each spear radiance was incredibly sharp and destructive.
In a split second, the overwhelming rain of spear radiance showered Su Mo.
In the distance, Tao Wei grinned as he watched this scene. Under this attack, Su Mo would be gravely injured or dead.
“Brother Jiang, it seems like there’s nothing for us to do here. My cuz alone can slay Su Mo,” Tao Wei said to the teal-clothed youth named Jiang Chi.
Jiang Chi was also at Lv 9 Enlightenment Realm and powerful, but not to the same level as Xiao Xuanyi.
Tao Wei had also invited Jiang Chi because he found out that Su Mo had hit Lv 5 Enlightenment Realm, and he worried that Su Mo would run away from them.
Having two Lv 9 Enlightenment Realm martial artists would ensure Su Mo’s death, in spite of his incredibility.
Jiang Chi shook his head and said, “I don’t think so! That attack was not enough to kill Su Mo.”
Jiang Chi’s eyes were fixed on the rain of spear radiance. He felt that an extremely potent power was brewing, and this power was no weaker than his.

“Obliteration Cut!”
The rampant battle cry rose from the rain of radiance and a violent Sword Qi emerged. It was incredibly powerful and tore apart all the spear radiance around Su Mo.
Tao Wei gasped in cold air. “How can this be?”
At this moment, Su Mo’s body was surrounded by the five-colored Vital Spirit and covered with golden scales. He looked like the imposing Golden-armored Ares.
Xiao Xuanyi was also shocked by such strength from a Lv 5 Enlightenment Realm creep.
“Have a taste of my Falling Stars Technique!”
The killing desire in Xiao Xuanyi’s eyes became stronger. He could not let Su Mo leave here alive today; otherwise, he would be in deep water once Su Mo returned to the Celestialspirit Sect.
He knew clearly that as a Towering Sky Peak disciple, Su Mo would get revenge for himself if he survived from his attacks today, and he would be a dead man if those experts from the Towering Sky Peak wanted to kill him.
Xiao Xuanyi held his spear with both hands, and his Vital Spirit surged continuously.
Then, an incomparable starlight spurted out from the point of the spear. It was splendid and dazzling with a 100-foot-long tail and traveled toward Su Mo like a falling meteorite.
A second starlight followed shortly afterward, and then there came a third, a fourth…
Streaks of starlight followed from head to tail and traveled at an extremely fast speed, targeting Su Mo.
In an instant, Su Mo felt a sense of danger in his heart. He did not dare to underestimate this attack and he looked extremely solemn.
He held the Sky-crushing Sword tightly, and the Vital Spirit in his nine Spiritual Spirals ran madly.
Boom!
The first starlight was shattered with one strike, and he cut off the following streaks of starlight continuously.

Just after Su Mo had broken a dozen streaks, his swordplay could not keep pace with the incoming starlight, which seemed endless.
He had to retreat again and again to give himself time to wield his sword.
“It seems like I’ve got to use the Spiritual Sword to kill him!”
Su Mo was greatly stressed by the powerful strength of Xiao Xuanyi. He could not figure out another way to kill the enemy without using his Spiritual Sword.
He withdrew rapidly and then made three Phantom Avatars out of himself.
As soon as the three Phantom Avatars appeared, they quickly split up and then attacked at the same time.
“Obliteration Cut!”
Three 10,000-foot-long Sword Qi tore apart the void and rushed toward Xiao Xuanyi from three directions.
Meanwhile, a streak of lightning gleamed on Su Mo’s body. The lightning was too insignificant to notice compared to the massive Sword Qi.
It was indistinguishable with human eyes and it followed the massive five-colored Sword Qi at an incredibly fast speed.
Xiao Xuanyi did not notice the lightning at all. He brandished his spear and cast out three beautiful flowers to block the three Sword Qi.
Boom! Boom! Boom!
After three explosions, the three Sword Qi waves were shattered instantly.
Xiao Xuanyi mocked the power of the Sword Qi inwardly.
“Watch out, cuz!”
“Brother Xiao, watch out!”
Tao Wei and Jiang Chi shouted at the same time.
Xiao Xuanyi did not notice that streak of lightning, yet they did and tried to alert him.
Xiao Xuanyi was struck dumb. “Watch out for what?”
Scanning with his spiritual consciousness, Xiao Xuanyi’s face fell because he noticed that a crazy streak of lightning had reached less than 10 feet away from his lower abdomen.
“What?”
He was scared to death. Although he did not know what it was, he felt that he would be finished if he was hit by the lightning.
There was no time left to block or dodge it, so he tried his best to twist his body.
The speed of the lightning was incomparable. It glanced off his waist in less than a blink of an eye.
Slash!
His clothes were torn off and blood spurted out into the air.
“Uh!”
Xiao Xuanyi moved away rapidly, looked at his waist, and found a bleeding, six-inch-long mark of a sword.
Xiao Xuanyi was slightly relieved because it was not at a crucial point, it was just a trivial wound.
Su Mo sighed inwardly. His Spritual Sword would have definitely killed Xiao Xuanyi if the two spectators had not alerted him.
“Su Mo, I swear I’ll kill you today!”
Xiao Xuanyi glared at Su Mo with surging rage. How could a dignified Peak Lv 9 Enlightenment Realm expert be wounded by a Lv 5 Enlightenment Realm martial artist!

About the Author This is my first novel or any attempt to write something so I'm pretty much a newbie trying to pen down the fantasies rolling in my mind. English isn't my First language so brace yourself for some grammatic potholes. But I'm genuinely working on improving my English but it won't be happening overnight as it's a process, I guess. (for the time being, I'm trying to make it readable with some Grammar checking software) Moreover, I wish to improve my writing skills as the story grows and readers help in spotting mistakes or critics might turn it into a reality.
