Chapter 475: 100,000 Stake
Translator: Transn Editor: Transn
Su Mo’s fist strength was enormously potent. Although he did not use his full strength, it was not expected that a normal Lv 4 Enlightenment Realm martial artist to block the blow.
The truth was, even a Lv 6 Enlightenment Realm martial artist would be defeated in a second.
The massive fist strength met the shield. After a loud noise, the tall, strong youth instantly flew backwards in a straight line and hit the crag of the valley.
Rumble!
Streams of cracks emerged on the crag, and shattered rocks splashed into the air. The youth could not be seen since he was already buried deep in the mountain.
Hiss! Hiss!
The audiences could not help gasping. Lin Kun, who was known for his strong defense, was knocked into the mountain by one punch.
Huang Yao’s eyes suddenly widened, and she had a face filled with disbelief while she stared at the crag.
Only punch!
One punch, one victory!
Huang Yao’s delicate mouth could not help twitching. She then looked at Hong Qingxuan and said with a slight touch of blame laced in. “Junior Sister Hong, why didn’t you tell me earlier that Su Mo is so strong?”
Huang Yao blushed scarlet at her stupidity from before. What she said before was full of disdain to Su Mo, who now slapped her face with his performance and embarrassed her.
Hong Qingxuan’s beautiful eyes showed a glint of mock because she had said clearly that Su Mo was going to win.
Another blue-clothed woman, Liu Xian, shook her head and was speechless about this. She figured that Su Mo was not simple since he was admired by the proud and arrogant Hong Qingxuan.
On the fighting platform.
Su Mo was speechless about his one-punch victory. “You call this an invincible defense? I hope you’re not dead.”

Su Mo gave a wry smile. He just used a little part of his strength, and his opponent was knocked into the mountain. What invincible defense was this!
After a short while, the tall, strong youth broke through the shattered rocks out of the mountain. His face was pale and his mouth was bleeding.
“I win. 6,000 Medium Spiritual Stones please!” Su Mo said with a beaming face. The opponent’s stake was 20,000 Medium Spiritual Stones, 30 percent of which should be 6,000 stones.
Lin Kun looked terrible. He did not expect that Su Mo’s strength was beyond his imagination, and that his defense was so vulnerable in front of him.
He then took out 6,000 Medium Spiritual Stones and handed them over to Su Mo.
Su Mo became emotional at this. In just a few moments, he had earned 9,000 Medium Spiritual Stones, which was equal to 9,000,000 Lower Spiritual Stones. This efficiency of making money was decent enough, but it was still slower than looting!
Su Mo did not go back to the mountain and decided to start a gamble fight.
The stake of the others’ gamble fight was too low, not to mention that the challenger could only win 30 percent. He had to raise the stakes to win a huge number of stones.
Su Mo raised his head, swept the two sides of the valley, and said, “I’m Su Mo from Towering Sky Peak. I’m hosting a gamble fight, and the stake is 10,000 Medium Spiritual Stones. Anyone under Lv 4 Enlightenment Realm can challenge me!”
Su Mo’s voice spread over and started an uproar.
“What? A stake of 100,000 Medium Spiritual Stones?”
“Uh… Even a True Darkness Realm–level gamble fight doesn’t have such a high stake. How can he be so confident?”

“It turns out he’s from Towering Sky Peak! He’s arrogant indeed!”
Everyone was shocked by the stake. A normal Enlightenment Realm martial artist could not afford this.
Some outsiders now knew Su Mo’s identity. He was the talent from Towering Sky Peak.
Huang Yao stared agape and raised her eyebrows.
“Su Mo… He’s a Towering Sky Peak disciple!” She was utterly shocked as this was totally beyond her expectations.
She now realized why Hong Qingxuan was so close to Su Mo. What woman could say no to such a talent!
“Brother Su Mo, cheer up! You can shine in the Celestialspirit Sect!” While standing at the edge of the valley, Hong Qingxuan watched Su Mo silently, while gentle winds breezed up the hair around her temples and her long dress.
Su Mo stood on the fighting ring in a prideful stance and waited for the challengers.
He limited the challenger’s cultivation to below Lv 4 Enlightenment Realm as this meant that the highest level of the challenger could only be at the same level as his.
Su Mo planned to proceed gradually in due order. Once he won some stones with same-leveled challengers, we would then raise the limit.
If he fougt higher levels at the start, his full strength will be exposed and this would make the same-leveled potential challengers afraid to fight him, and he would lose the income from them.
However, Su Mo’s strength was already exposed in the fight before, also the fight with Zheng Renjie, so nobody dared challenge him over the next 15 minutes.
“Nobody?” Su Mo frowned slightly.
A chuckle rose upon the valley, and a black figure landed.
“Not bad. A talent from Towering Sky Peak worth fighting.”
It was a youth in a tight black suit. He looked like he was 16 or 17 and had a grim, wicked face.
“It’s Xiang Ming. Xiang Ming from Demonic Sky Peak is here!”
“Xiang Ming is the unrivaled talent on Demonic Sky Peak with incredible combat strength. Can he beat Su Mo?”
“Haha! It’s a good show between talents!”
Xiang Ming’s arrival raised clamors and this proved that he had a great reputation in the Celestialspirit Sect.
Among the hundreds of thousands disciples in the sect, Towering Sky Peak wasn’t the only peak to have monstrous talents. The other peaks did as well!
“You’re good! I’ve heard that Towering Sky Peak disciples are all monsters, and I’ve never had a chance to give it a try. Today is the day.” While staring at Su Mo, Xiang Ming’s mouth curved.
Su Mo sized up his opponent and didn’t anything special, but he did not look down on Xiang Ming.
“Let’s do this!” Su Mo said calmly. He wasn’t in the mood for bullsh*t.
“I’m taking the 30,000 Medium Spiritual Stones!” Xiang Ming grinned, and his Qi surged on his body with black Vital Spirit flowing around him.
“Demon-killing Fist!”
He suddenly puched out. The bleak, black fist radiance and dense Demonic Qi turned into a millstone-sized fist and rushed toward Su Mo’s face.

Mordheim: Servants of The Damned (A Warhammer Fantasy Fiction)
“The Great Library,” Stated the stranger with a pause. “You know of it?”“Of course I do. In the Merchant’s Quarter?”“Yes, in the Merchant’s Quarter. I have gathered that there is an… artefact of importance within its walls.” Slowly, the figure produced a rusted key from the furls of his robes and held it in a black-gloved hand. “This opens the door to its chambers. It is the grimoire of Gunnar von Krugenheim, and I believe that it would serve better in the world than locked away in a dusty room.” Behind the cursed walls of Mordheim, warbands and gangs of all stripes are embattled in constant wars for resources and power. The cursed city attracts throngs in the thousands, searching for treasures, artefacts, power, and sometimes all three. The Cult of the Hidden Brethren is no exception, and when an opportunity to extend their reach is discovered, the cultists are eager to take the opportunity. However, not all is set in stone, and soon the cultists discover that the lure of power alone may not be enough to give them the drive required to see their quest done... --- Mordheim: Servants of the Damned is a fanfiction set in the world of Warhammer Fantasy, which is not owned by me but by the company Games Workshop. I of course, lay claim to nothing in this story but the characters I have created, and the core events of the story itself. This is my first true foray into fantasy writing, let alone Warhammer Fantasy, therefore any feedback is welcome. (It should be noted as well, the cover art is merely an artwork I found online and is not mine, therefore I do not lay claim to that either.)
