Chapter 446: Strength of Towering Sky Peak
Translator: Transn Editor: Transn
Waving his long sword, Su Mo fiercely collided with the white-robed man holding a long saber.
The two forceful attacks crashed with a huge bang.
Swish!
They were both forced back and trembled violently.
However, the white-robed man flew back much further than Su Mo did, which illustrated that Su Mo was superior in physical strength.
“How could this be?” The young man in white was totally stunned by his defeat.
He had always been matchless among same-level experts, but now he was not even close to Su Mo in physical strength.
The cultivation skill he had been practicing was special enough for him to skip body cultivating. His Genuine Vitality was 10 times denser than that of other martial artists at his same level so that he could even defeat a Body-refining Expert with merely one strike. He was too astounded by his defeat.
“Again!” Su Mo roared and rushed toward the white-robed man once again.
Boom!
After another bang, the white-robed man was once again forced backward and bumped out of the square.
“Stop!” The white-robe man stopped Su Mo just as he intended to strike again.
“You’re indeed impressive and can join us. Towering Sky Peak welcomes you!” the white-robed man growled. His face was red with boiling blood caused by adrenaline.
Su Mo stopped and smiled. “You’ve impressed me as well!”
Su Mo was not flattering him. The man’s combat strength extraordinarily exceeded his own cultivation of Lv 8 True Spirit Realm.
The man flew back to the square and then descended on the ground.
“What’s your name?” the man asked.
“Su Mo!” Su Mo answered.
The man nodded and said, “My name is Tian Chen. I rank the 10th in Towering Sky Peak, and I’m the Little Junior Brother. I’ll call you Little Junior Brother if you join us.”

“Really? Are there only 10 disciples in Towering Sky Peak?” Su Mo asked. Tian Chen had been the latest to join Towering Sky Peak, so there were truly only 10 disciples.
Upon hearing this, Tian Chen looked sad and sighed. “There are only 7 left. Three Senior Brothers died.”
Su Mo kept silent since he had not expected Towering Sky Peak to be so destitute of disciples.
“Su Mo, I admit you’re indeed strong, and I feel humbled!”
The more carefully Tian Chen looked at Su Mo, the more surprised he felt. He was the most promising talent in terms of combat strength he had ever met.
Su Mo was incredibly powerful among his class, but Tian Chen’s cultivation was much higher than Su Mo’s, so his actual combat strength was superior.
“You’re too modest, Senior Brother. We’re matched in combat strength!” Su Mo said humbly.
666
Tian Chen shook his head and said, “I degraded my cultivation to match you, but my martial arts techniques, as well as willpower, are after all of the Enlightenment Realm. If I were at Lv 8 True Spirit Realm like you are, I would surely be defeated!”
Su Mo agreed with him. Tian Chen’s saber technique was high-class, and his Rank 2 saber willpower was hard for martial artists of the True Spirit Realm to comprehend.
“OK, Su Mo. I’ll arrange for you to move to the Towering Sky Peak. You can wait to formally apprentice when Master comes back,” Tian Chen said.
“Formally apprentice?” Su Mo exclaimed for he had not known he needed to do that before joining Towering Sky Peak.
“Yes!” Tian Chen nodded and added, “Towering Sky Peak differs from other Peaks. Other Peaks accept ordinary disciples while our Master has only pro-disciples.”
“I got it!” Su Mo understood.
“By the way, please hand me your passing token. I’ll help you go through the admission procedure some other day,” Tian Chen said.

Su Mo handed the black token to Tian Chen.
“Right now, only the Seventh Senior Sister and I are staying in Towering Sky Peak, I’ll take you to meet her.”
Tian Chen brought Su Mo to the front of a pavilion where the woman in floral robe lived and gently knocked at the door.
“Come in, tenth junior brother.” A gentle voice was heard, so Tian Chen and Su Mo went in.
The pavilion was spacious, and in the entrance hall, the charming lady was sitting cross-legged in meditation on her futon.
She heard the sound of footsteps and opened her eyes.
Her eyes fell upon Su Mo. She knew the battle results through her spiritual consciousness.
“Su Mo, let me introduce you. This is my Seventh Senior Sister, Hua Suiyu,” Tian Chen said to Su Mo.
Su Mo looked carefully at the Seventh Senior Sister and felt startled, for he could not figure out her cultivation.
It demonstrated that Su Mo was at least three levels lower than her in cultivation. He was only at Lv 8 True Spirit Realm, but due to his strong willpower, he could tell cultivations of any martial artist at or below Lv 2 Enlightenment Realm. Therefore, Hua Suiyu’s cultivation was at least Lv 3 Enlightenment Realm.
“Seventh Senior Sister!” Su Mo held a fist-palm salute to Hua Suiyu.
Hua Suiyu stood up and smiled. “Hello, Su Mo. You’re our eleventh Junior Brother now!”
“Hehe, thanks for your kind welcome,” Su Mo politely smiled and said.
“You’re welcome.” Hua Suiyu nodded as he said, “Su Mo, there’re only a few of us in Towering Sky Peak, but we’re intimate as brothers and sisters, and we always unite as one. So no one is allowed to bring disgrace to Towering Sky Peak for one’s selfish desires. We should keep a collective sense. Is that clear?”
“I see.” Su Mo nodded. He would surely treat them genuinely if they treated him the same way.
“Alright!” Hua Suiyu satisfactorily nodded.
Afterward, they began chatting in the entrance hall.
Su Mo explained that he came from the remote Hong Domain, which astounded Tian Chen and Hua Suiyu, for they had expected him to be from some noble family in the Dark Domain.
Tian Chen and Hua Suiyu also gave Su Mo a detailed introduction of Towering Sky Peak.
The peak master of Towering Sky Peak was Huangfu Qing, who ranked the 9th among the Holy Elders in Celestial spirit Sect. However, Huangfu Qing was invincible among all the Holy Elders, and he was only second to the master of the Sect himself.
At the moment, there were only seven disciples in Towering Sky Peak. They were the first disciple Lin Langtian, the second disciple An Nuan, the fifth disciple Jun Wuxi, the eighth disciple, the ninth disciple Yun Fei, and these two.
Among the seven disciples, Tian Chen was at the bottom with his cultivation of Lv 1 Enlightenment realm, while the others’ cultivation ranged from the Enlightenment Realm to the True Darkness Realm.
The first Senior Brother Lin Langtian was a master at the Martial King Realm, ranking in the top 3,000 on the List of 10,000 Talents.
The second Senior Sister An Nuan and the fifth Senior Brother Jun Wuxi were also among the best talents on the List of Top 1,000 Talents in East Continent.
As for the Seventh Senior Sister Hua Suiyu, Su Mo had just learned she was at Lv 7 Enlightenment Realm.
He was inwardly amazed at Towering Sky Peak’s concealed talents. Even disciples like Tian Chen could easily appear on the List of Top 1,000 Talents within a few years.
Compared to them, Su Mo felt he was way too low!
After all, he was too young to be so powerful.

Old Riding Author Lunatic Asylum
Just off the A19, in the dark, incomprehensible lands known as Yorkshire, there lies a town. A town where shadow-silent alleys glint with the secret hunger of knives. Where blood soaks the chipboard window shutters of forsaken terraces stretching off into the night. Where the smog-choked air rattles with the depraved laughter echoing out from clubs that can only generously be described as post-apocalyptic. Well, that’s Middlesbrough. But down the A19 a bit (an impossibly long way down, actually) there lies another town: Raughnen, in the ancient, forgotten Old Riding. It is an equal match in muggery and thuggery alike. It also has magic spells and pointy wizard hats. And now, across the miles and across all sensibilities, a pretty nasty power (a magic one) calls out for its pretty nasty counterpart (a decidedly unmagic one): a proper sound Boro lad. Nothing good can come of it. This is a collection of one novella and four connected short stories: I. A Yorkshire Summoning II. Old Riding Day Trip (the novella) III. Heaven is a Parmo IV. Death on the 66 V. Death on the 257 In total, this comprises 34 chapters totalling around 35,000 words, so try not to worry. It will be over relatively quickly. There are three more short stories with more tenuous links to the core collection: Rush, Paper Round and Scenario 79: Sausage Fingers, all of which can be found in my collection Short Records of Misadventure. Reading these may allow you to make more sense of certain parts of the story, if any sense is to be made at all. NOTE: There are instances of prejudice and discrimination within these stories, including elements of sexism and ageism, which are purely the thoughts and actions of the characters involved and which certainly do not reflect my own views on these matters. ANOTHER NOTE; A WARNING, PERHAPS: This can get a bit weird. In less than 150 pages, we have four viewpoints, first and third person narratives, and a completely disjointed plot with lots of gaps, dead ends and no real resolution. Also ZERO lunatic asylums. It's all a bit odd. If that sort of thing isn't your cup of tea, which it most likely isn't, it might be best to move on now.

First arc: up to Chapter 20 I believe that at some point I will go on with this story, but it won't be any time soon.

The Gambit
The kingdoms have rarely experienced peace, with kings and rulers warring against each other on any percieved slight. With explorers riding the waves to find new lands and merchants eager to set up trade routes while profiting as much as possible. Would the status quo still hold up? The veil is already weakining as more magic and horrors seep through the gap. How would the world deal with the sudden increase in the limited resource of magic? With the times changing, barren lands become trade hubs and the power shifts. The system holding it all together, is in a fragile balance, would a single death break the balance and cause the most devastating war the people have experienced. The direction of the story : The story will not contain any main protagonist, rather multiple protagonists and antagonists with the protagonists having bad some character traits and the antagonists some good ones. I plan to make a story of flawed humans, so if you are looking for OP MCs you would not enjoy it. But I still hope you give it a try. This is my first time writing and I am doing it to get better, so any suggestion or criticism is welcome. I am a university student, so do not expect a robust upload schedule, I'll try to put out 2 chapters a week, but there might be some delays. I apologize for it in advance. P.s. English is not my native language, so there might be some errors, though I tried to mitigate them as much as possible.
